"Here? It's too crowded"

"But the food is nice and I don't get to pay, my brother's girlfriend owns the place"

We entered the restaurant and headed for the counter.

Alexia was mixing cocktails, she beamed as I came closer and rounded the counter to hug me.

"Selene, how have you been? I've been to your house recently but you weren't home"

She twirled slowly.
