His lips stretched a little at the ends, typical Danvier's smile.

Then he pressed the red button, the elevator began to descend again.

The door opened and security guards holding guns pointed them at me.

I raised my hands in surrender.

Jason walked through the group, he waved them away.

"What happened to the elevator? I've been pressing the call button" Jason entered and checked the inside.

"Nothing. Have you had lunch, boy?"

"I'm not hungry"

I rolled my eyes.

"I'll get going now" I bowed.

"Have you eaten?" Jason asked me as he exited the elevator.

"I'm not hungry" I threw back his words at him.

Why? I don't know.

A big hand grabbed mine and pulled me towards the entrance.

I tried to remove my hand but his grip was tight.

I looked at the counter and discovered Bridget wasn't there, she was probably having lunch in the cafeteria.
