Chapter 27

"I'm going home" I stood up quickly and headed for the door.

"Are you walking out on me?" Jason followed me.

"And what are you going to do about it?" I taunted as I placed my hands on my waist trying to look intimidating.

Jason towered over me with his height and I had to look up to meet his eyes.

Shit, he's tall.

"You don't want to know"

"Okay. The both of you stop it" Pérez finally stepped in. "Jason let her go, it's obvious she doesn't want to stay her any longer"

Jason looked like he wanted to protest but then he closed his mouth and backed away.

"Come, I'll give you a ride" Pérez grabbed my elbow.

"I don't want your ride" I snatched my elbow away from his touch. "I'll get home by myself"

Pérez looked surprised.

"Selene, the distance is too far. A lot of money will be spent, we can discuss about stuffs like before, if you agree I might even tell you about my first love"
