3.

Arabella

Sitting up with a frown on her face, she was starting to feel pissed at the boss and not just him alone, and whoever had sneaked up on her while she was away doing her business and getting to know about Weylyn.

"That girl must never come here; If it means Damian Preston would have to die to protect Weylyn, he will die."

Weylyn was someone she had met hours ago; even though Weylyn had proved that she was a cowardly, courageous person, and Arabella had instantly liked her, she wouldn't let anyone go close to her, not even the boss.

Fuck Damian Preston!

Arabella winced in pain as she felt her big toe tugging backward like a pull; she ignored the pain and chewed on her lips.

There was no way she had allowed them to bring Weylyn to this Godforsaken place, she was too clean to be stained, and her soul was too pure to be tainted.

"That girl isn't coming here," Arabella said, not looking at Dominos as she continued to frown, and her voice sounded tight.

"It's not my order, you know, yeah?" Dominos said, folding his arms across his chest.

"We can find a way around it," Arabella said.

Dominos yawned and rubbed his eyes, "you should go to your room." Arabella didn't say anything as she got up and left, leaving his room door open. Dominos was tired of getting up and wasn't in a good mood as the boss had ruined his spirit; he left the door open.

Arabella pouted as she sat crossed-legged on her bed, wondering what sort of inhumane person Damian was; the fact that he turned her into what Arabella had never thought she would be, she was frightened for Weylyn.

Arabella didn't like this life; she never wanted it either, but since she would like to blame her father, she couldn't too; she blamed life. Instead, she blamed life being unfair to her and her father; if it was that life was fair to them, she was sure her father would never indulge with someone like Damian Preston.

Gunshot.

Arabella held her head and shut her eyes tightly; the sound of the gunshot, of how she pulled the trigger on her father, reverberated in her bead, and a tear slipped down her face.

"I'm sorry, daddy." She whimpers silently, holding her head and falling on the bed as she curled up and cries.

Arabella wasn't just crying for herself alone, she was crying for Weylyn too at how young Damian is about to ruin her life, and that's if he gets a hold of her.

She laid on her back, one leg up as she stared at the ceiling; by now, Arabella had stopped crying and was thinking of saving her; she was eighteen and had just begun her life.

"Why did she move?" She could have just stayed back in Silicon Valley... Arabella let the thought trail off.

She thought of how bad it would be for Weylyn; within Five months, Damian had transformed her into a fine ruthless killer; how much more would he groom Weylyn.

It would be too hard.

She survived; it doesn't mean Weylyn would too.

If there was anything Arabella wanted to do, it was to leave the mansion and find her and hopefully protect her, but that would mean telling her everything she needed to know.

Life could ruin you within hours and leave you questioning humanity without having an answer.

Arabella figured she would talk to Dominos as soon as she woke up but right now, all she wanted to do was take a shower and sleep.

Dominos

It was past three in the morning, and he was sound asleep, snoring, laying on his chest and his hands on the pillow beside his head; he was shirtless, giving more rooms to the moonlight to showcase his tattoos while his legs were out of the sheet, to say it was only on his ass covered. His six feet figure lay unmoving as he slept.

He was peaceful.

He hadn't closed his room door, and Arabella in her thin nightdress that stopped below her ass cheek entered his room, and before she could sit, Dominos spoke.

"What are you doing here?" His voice was tight and sexy. Arabella felt a tingle. "You should close the door." He added, and she did.

"I'm sorry I walked out on you." She apologized, scratching her elbow.

"You didn't answer my question," Dominos growled; Arabella felt a tingling sensation.

"I couldn't sleep." She answered.

"Okay." He muttered and turned his head the other way, away from her.

"Babe?"

Dominos ignored her.

"Babe?"

"Arabella, sleep!" He half yelled.

"I just said I'm sorry."

"Okay."

"What's wrong with you?"

"What was wrong with you?"

"I was angry, Baby."

"And now it's my turn to be angry," Dominos said, hissing.

Arabella sighed and moved closer to him, rubbing his hair.

"If you had met her, you would have understood me last night," Arabella spoke softly.

"Like I'm the one that made the order. I told you you were careless; giving the box to someone else was risky."

"I know Dominos. But it was the only option at that moment. It wasn't even Mario's gang after me, it was Helena, and I couldn't afford to let it go to the wrong hands ." Arabella explained.

"Okay."

"I need your help." She said.

Dominos turned to look at her with a frown. "With what?"

"I don't want her here," Arabella stated, smiling. "She's too naive."

"Weren't you naive?" Dominos asked with a perplexed look.

"Damian, he made for me," Arabella said. "We could choose for her too. We can't let Damian ruin her life."

"God! This girl wants me to disobey again and if I ever get caught and killed, punish her." Dominos said into the pillow, and Arabella laughed.

"What do you suggest?" He asked her.

Arabella licked her lips and removed the sheet from his body; she rolled him over to sleep on his back and knelt in between his legs, she winked at him, and he facepalmed.

"Just get on with it," Dominos smirked.

Arabella bent and licked the head of the shaft as she circled her tongue around the head, teasing him.

"Holy fuck!" He moaned.

She stroked his shaft in her hand as she took it whole inside her mouth, her head bobbing up and down on his shaft.

After making him come into her mouth, she swallowed every bit of him and licked his shaft clean; she laid next to him and placed her head on his chest.

"I love you, Dominos."

"I love you too." He kissed her hair.

"If one day all of this is over, we would have our normal lives and marry to have a family of our own," Arabella whispered.

Dominos didn't know what to say or how to reply to her, so he didn't say anything.

He had never thought about marrying, maybe when we were younger, but for the last eight years, he had never thought about it.

Sometimes, he remembers home. The home had lived the most sixteen years of his life with his father, mother, sisters, and twins. He was the last child.

Darlene and Darla were the prettiest girls even at school; there were among the popular girls' cliques.

They both had long hairs that stopped at their waist like their mother's own, slim, they were the definition of petite, quite identical only difference was that Darlene was taller and quieter. Unlike Darla, who was more of doing words than just talking, she was all ready for a fight, and everyone wondered how she still ended up having good grades, although Darlene was the bookworm and more brilliant.

Dominos has always been the girl's guy and barely had time to mingle with them; he preferred moving with guys like him, his first relationship with his girlfriend had ended, they had too much fallout, and it was because she was a 'hoe!'' The relationship ended a month after it started.

"Reason why I don't fancy girls, they always have too many boys." He said to his sisters after they asked him why he broke up.

The following relationship he had would have lasted, he was sure they'd have gotten married later in the future, but he died.

"Baby, promise me you'd move on with life, that you will forget me," Alan said, his voice sounding faint.

Alan died in his hands, he was still healing from the loss, it was inevitable, the death, Alan had kidney cancer, and the doctor said he was not sure if he could survive it, few days before the surgery, he died, just a year after they started dating, Alan left him to deal with the world himself.

Dominos was still healing, and the worse happened to him. In a day, he lost everyone that mattered to him the most and wondered life would have any more meaning.

And Damian didn't even have mercy on his brother. He didn't even wait to find the truth; his uncle Damian allowed, blinded by rage, and maybe more; maybe he wanted more of what he didn't have and seized the opportunity.

Dominos remembered how Damian had barged into their house and accused his father of betraying him when it was their sister and mother that had planned the deed.

His grandmother and Aunty had plotted to steal from both his father and Damian and lied against his father. His father's accountant had joined them for the considerable sum of money they promised to pay him.

"Logan, how could you do this to me?" Damian yelled as he paced about the living room in his brother's house.

"What are you talking about?" Logan asked, perplexed.

"You Damn know well what I am talking about," Damian yelled again.

"Can you calm down and talk?" Becca, Ezekiel's (Dominos) mother, said.

"Becca, stay out of this. This fight is between my little brother and me."

"She's only asking you to calm down." Darlene, one of the twins, said.

"You stole my money. You stole from me."

Taken aback, Logan said, "what money?"

"Logan, you wired a sum of seventy million dollars from my account to yours, and I noticed and had my accountant traced the money."

"Wait! I don't know what you are talking about." Logan said.

"Why are you lying? If your company was going bankrupt and needed money, you could have just told me." Damian said in a soft tone.

"I swear on father's life, and I don't know about this. It is a setup," Logan spoke.

"I'll call my accountant, and he will transfer the money back to you. I'm so sorry. I am. I own up for shit I don't know about." Logan sighed.

"You were father's favorite, and you inherited more than I did. Why would you want to steal from me? Why?" Damian yelled, clicking his fingers and calling for some men.

"I swear to God I don't know what you're talking about, and I'll fix it asap." Logan breathes out.

"Too late." Damian brought out a gun.

Becca screamed, "no! Please. Are you out of your mind? He's your brother."

Damian glared at her and pulled the trigger, and it was instant death.

"Darlene, I love you and your sister Darla and Ezekiel. Be strong." Logan said. He looked into his brother's eyes and smiled.

Logan was gone. All of these happened while Ezekiel was peeping from the stairs. He was in his room, but the yelling had brought him down to watch what was happening; his uncle had killed his parents right in front of him and his sister. He watched as they hit the butt of the gun on Darlene's head and carried her away.

"Find the boy," Damian ordered.

"No need." He came out of his hiding place and surrendered as long as it concerned his sister and his parents were dead. He was ready to die.

Later in the evening of that day that Darla joined them, the three of them had hugged each other, and he had been the man, petting his sisters.

Although Darla used to be the aggressive one, today, Ezekiel had seen her weakness, and it hurt him, Darlene had always been the soft one and was a few inches taller than Darla, but they had the same black waistline hair and were white-skinned, unlike his olive skin.

The painful part was when Damian ordered Darlene to be kept somewhere at only God knows where.

To cover up for his shit, Damian had framed him up for his parent's death and told him to get ready to live his life in the prison, but Darla had insisted on taking the blame.

Even though the higher people in the police department knew the truth, bribery found its way in burying the truth.

So Darla had been the one to go to prison. Darlene was nowhere to be found, as they didn't know where Damian ordered her to be. That was the last time he had seen his sisters.

Two hard years later, he was trained, hardcore training, the trauma had almost made him bitter, but Ezekiel knew he wasn't born that way; no matter how life wanted him to turn out, he had to have control over some things. Damian Preston told him to nickname himself, which was how the name Dominos came about. He didn't even think about it.

He was the quiet one among Damian's gang who took over his father's stock exchange company and secretly drug business and added it to his wealth and casino business.

In that same year, how did it happen? How did the truth come out? His mother and sister had tried to do the same stealing of money's thing from one account to another person's account. They had tried to take money from the stock company's history with Logan's former accountant, not knowing that Damian had changed the most set of the company.

The new accountant got a signal from his computer about a scam happening, and not only did he block it, but he also traced it. He realized that the money someone had removed two years ago and framed Logan appeared as a blank amount in Logan's account, but the real money showed up in Mrs. Preston's account.

Ezekiel was furious when he knew the truth. He composed himself and stared at his grandmother and Aunty. He chuckled.

"You made me ruin a family," Damian said, pain evident in his voice.

"How could you, Mother, and you too, Sheila?" Damian yelled, slapping his mother across her face. "What have you both wanted that Logan and I never satisfied you with?"

"We are sorry." Sheila cried.

"Would that bring back Logan and Becca? I don't even know where Darlene is, and Darla has a long year to go before she's out." Damian raged as she held his mother's head and hit the table.

"You framed your son and brother. I don't even care what you do with all the money."

Nobody saw when Ezekiel had picked up the gun until he cocked it.

"You ruined my life and that of my sisters."

"I'm your grandmother; forgive me."

"I don't forgive, but I hope God forgives you." He pulled the trigger and shot her on the head. She fell dead.

"Have a nice time stealing people's money in hell, Sheila," Ezekiel said and pulled the trigger. He dropped the gun and went up to his room.

Dominos sniffles and rubs his eyes. He didn't want to cry.

Eight years ago, he had been in this mansion. Even though he changes location often cause of business, he had become the favorite of his uncle, who didn't even beg for his forgiveness, who went about with his life and acted like he didn't do anything wrong. Often time Dominos has had the chance to kill, but those times felt like it wasn't the right time yet.

Today was going to be tough; life would be lost, and at all costs, he and Arabella must protect Weylyn.

Dominos knew the person; he knew who snuck up on Arabella and mentioned Weylyn, but his girlfriend would be so pissed off when she finds out, and it won't be from him.

Before they carried out any mission, he thought about stopping by the New York City police station and checking on his sister; it's been three weeks since he heard from her; he missed her as much as he missed Darlene. So that he could hug his sister and spend time with her, he would request to meet at the café in prison, where there were no barriers. He had a lot he wanted to tell her, but there was never enough time.

Dominos had pleaded with Damian countless times to release his sister, but it turned deaf ears every time he talked about it, so he stopped.

Arabella stirred, and Dominos pretended to sleep. He wasn't in the spirit to start answering her questions as to why he was awake, and again, he didn't even want to go sexual with her; knowing Arabella, every moment they spend together, she always goes sexual with him, and she's not even an addict, she tagged it as being in love and most times they were always up and about carrying out missions even outside the state and country.

Dominos yawned, still pretending to be asleep; he felt Arabella slipping away from his hold as she got out of his bed and sneaked away to her room.

He checked the time and realized he had just four hours to sleep and one hour to get ready for the day.

Dominos hissed and turned on his chest to sleep, sighing deeply, he blinked back the tears.

"For Mum and Dad, Darla and Darlene, I won't cry. I love you so much, and I miss you every day, especially Darlene. Stay alive for me. I won't stop looking for you." Dominos said in his mind.
