Chapter 32 I did not expect her to kill

He didn’t show up at the wedding and it was a mess on the spot. When Jonathan came home, Sean Field was siting at the living room, gloomy and unhappy. His mother, Winnie was here, too. Lindsay was sitting on the sofa in a wedding dress.

Seeing him come back, Lindsay recovered a little from disappointment.

'You know that you need to come home?' Sean’s face was full of anger.

Winnie comforted him, playing the role as a peacemaker, saying, 'Please listen to your son. Don’t get mad that fast.'

Hearing this, Lindsay smiled, too, helping Jonathan, showing her sensibility and reason by the way.

'Dad, Jonathan must get his reasons. That’s why he left temporarily. We have been through a lot. He was willing to wait for me for five years, then I shall believe his feelings for me.'
