Coincidentally Fated

Olivia is a 21 year old, business and culinary major and restaurant management minor in college. She goes to a college in her hometown, a small town called Mystchia Hills, where everybody knows everybody and while gossip is everywhere, nothing drastic happens there. She is in her senior year and is ready to start her life. She has everything planned out; her friends, family, starting her restaurant, her job, her house, pets, age she is ready for marriage (if she finds the right guy), basically everything you need she has planned. Then enters the unexpected change, she may have everything planned out, but the new bad boy in her town definitely is not in the plan. The only question is, will he end up affecting her plan? Or will she stay away from him and go on with her life, as best as possible? Only time can tell, but coincidences can impact ones fate. I know this sounds seriously cliche, and there are probably many novels with a similar plot as this one. I have not personally read any like this one I am planning but I'm not saying it is completely unique. I know it sounds like every other story, but this is different, very different and there are surprising things that happen if you are willing to stick with me. I am a somewhat new author, I am working on another book, "Sealed with Blood" and like that one, I don't have a regular update pattern or schedule. I just thought of this and with the motivation still in my brain, and the fact that the motivation amount with "Sealed with Blood" is not going to well, I wanted to start this. I hope you guys are patient with me, and enjoy this novel!!!!! Sincerely, Softball Sis 8

Chapter 5; Babysitting Part 2

When Olivia looked up, she saw Zion standing in the kitchen talking with Mr. John. She had stopped walking for a second, and as soon as the shock wore off she quickly fixed herself.

"Olivia! It's nice to see you again. I swear you are skinnier and more tired looking every week, remember to take care of yourself whenever you can with your crazy schedule." Said Ms. Danni.

Olivia laughed, "I know Ms. Danni, you tell me this every week. If what you think you see was true, I wouldn't even be as big as a twig. I promise I'm doing fine."

Then Olivia looked at Mr. John for help, he stopped talking to Zion and said, "Olivia's got a point darling. She is doing fine. We should get going, do you want to introduce these two before we leave?"

That was when Olivia remembered that Zion was still there in the kitchen. Ms. Danni said, "Oh, right. Olivia, this is Zion. Zion this is Olivia, I believe you two would be the same grade in college."

Zion then walked over to Olivia, and with a triumphant smile in his eyes, he shook her hand. "It's a pleasure to see you again.... Olivia."

Olivia silently died a little inside, he now knew her name. She shook his hand back and said, "You too Zion, the pleasure is all mine." In a sarcastic way that only Zion heard. He smiled even wider.

"Do you two know each other?" Asked Mr. John.

Before Olivia could say anything Zion answered him. "Yes actually, we met earlier today when I arrived at college. I believe we have a few classes together."

"That's lovely, but we need to get going. Olivia, Zion will be hanging out with the kids tonight, as long as you are ok with it." Ms. Danni said as she grabbed her purse and jacket.

Olivia gave a small smile and said, "Of course. As long as you are fine with it, you know I will be too."

Mr. John took his wife's hand and as he led her towards the door he said, "Perfect, Zion is an old family friend and we think it would be cool for him to spend some time with the kids. You know what to do Olivia, we don't have any new directions for today. Bye." Then they walked out the door.

As soon as they left, Olivia left the kitchen and went to find the kids. Chloe and Chelsea had left the kitchen and Olivia wanted to see what everyone was doing. She first went to find Jane. As she walked away, Zion said, "So Olivia, I guess we might be seeing each other more often."

Olivia continued to walk away and just answered by saying, "If you want to think of it that way, then go ahead. I need to do my job, and I honestly don't care that you are here. Just don't break anything, don't break anyone, don't hurt, scare, or be a bad example to the kids, please don't bother me, and try to stay out of my way." She then turned around, gave a quick fake smile, and went to the nursery to find Jane.

When she got there, she saw Jane was playing in her crib. She walked over and picked up Jane, earning some goo goo sounds, and checker her diaper. Jane had on a fresh diaper, like she normally did when Olivia started babysitting her, and she was ready for lots of attention. Olivia laughed at the diva baby and went to find everyone else.

She carried Jane up the stairs, with Zion following behind like a bored puppy, and went to Tommy's bedroom first. When she opened the door she didn't see anyone at first and was about to leave when something jumped on her back from behind. She turned around and say Tommt clinging to her back. She smiled and said, "Hello Tommy, how are you?"

She didn't receive an answer, because Tommy was always shy at first. She then told him, "I don't mind you jumping on my back, but you shouldn't do that. It is not polite and your mother wouldn't like that. I am also carrying Jane and could have dropped her."

Tommy got off her back and walked in front of her. He looked up and apologized by saying, "I'm sorry Livvie, I'm not bad boy." He looked so sad, he doesn't like it when he feels like he is being scolded.

Olivia smiled and accepted his apology, Tommy is a very sweet kid and he didn't mean any harm. She then turned around and decided to introduce Tommy to Zion, who was standing near the top of the steps. At least Tommy would know who this stranger is, even if she would rather Tommy and the other kids ignored him. So she pointed at Zion and said, "Tommy, meet Zion. Zion this is Tommy. Be nice." She said while looking at Zion.

Zion smirked, walked over to Tommy, bent down to Tommy's height, smiled, and held out his hand. "Hi Tommy, I'm Zion. I've heard so much about you."

Tommy was shy and looked down as he shook Zion's hand. Then he slowly looked up with a cheeky grin on his face and asked, "You heard about me?"

Zion smiled and said, "Of course! I heard you are a very good boy."

Tommy smiled at this and his behind Olivia. Olivia looked up at Zion slightly surprised, Zion raised his eyebrow and made a fake accusation face. Olivia rolled her eyes and turned to find Chloe and Chelsea. She found them in the room the two of them shared.
