Arc 2 : Chapter 1: A new world

(Uwahh*)

"Honey, look at our child he is so adorable", a high pitched voice rang into my ears.

My eyes weren't opening as if they had been locked temporarily.

"We shall call him Edan, Edan Selviar!!", a really annoying low pitched voice tried to burst my ears.

(Uwahh*)

(Waah*)

"Oww!"

"Because of you he is crying now shut your mouth and stop making things worse", the annoyed woman spoke.

"There, there"

I felt a softening touch that calmed me down. She must be my mother in this world and that annoying voice earlier must be the over enthusiastic father.

My name is Edan eh, Edan Selviar that rings well.

(This world, it feels a bit similar)

- Few minutes later

Ah finally I am able to open my eyes, now lets see.

I was sleeping on a bassinet and my eyes opened but still I couldn't see the world around me clearly. Looking at the details I am currently in a hospital. So this world is also in the modern era eh.

"Yes its a boy and we named him Edan"

[huhu, a great name and congratulations please don't forget to visit me.]

"We won't"

Guess it is at the same era as my previous world because in this world smartphones are also present.

I was carried downstairs and there was a luxurious car waiting at the other end.

As my parents placed me in the back seat and got me comfortable they looked out to give a send off to this hospital, perhaps wishing to not come back anytime soon.

My parents drove me to our home from the hospital.

I looked at the giant hospital in this town showing that this was a major town. I looked at a lake while crossing a highway road within the town and the magnificent forest behind the lake.

Birds dived into this clear water as the rippling waves scattered across this blue body, It felt calm and perhaps having this peace made me feel a bit odd after all I have been through.

Here most building were 6-storey buildings and while moving through the road I could see a big mall and many more.

While I was lost in my thoughts we drove across the town as

we reached our home opposite to the hospital and it was roughly 10 km.

"Wahh", I exclaimed.

It was a big house and to be honest it could be compared to a mansion. This was the house I had to live in wait this is my house!!

Even though I was very famous in having brains in my past life I didn't receive noble price yet so pretty much I had a mediocre life.

"Look at his expressions", My dad said.

" It's strange that he is so mesmerized about buildings at such a young age", My mother replied.

"He sure goes after your greed", Father said in a mocking way.

I thought something like that would pop out near my eyes because I am an otaku after all. Well in reality nothing like that happened because this is an actual parallel world and not any videogame or something like that.

My mother carried me to a vast spacious room and put me in a well designed bassinet.

"There you go and now don't go moving or swallowing anything nearby honey", my mother said in a soothing voice.

My body was working well but still I felt difficulty in remembering my past life as if my current brain still didn't adapt to my consciousness.

That man I met who was he?

I remember seeing only his eyes and nothing aside from it, he was looking at me with such eyes. For someone I met for the first time to look at me that way...

I didn't get an idea of what type of world I was in.

In this world were there mythical things? Did this world posses monsters? Powers or was it like a video game? Well the possibility of this being a videogame is highly unlikely cause I know how the universe works.

It was best to consider this world to be the same as my previous world because of that weird spectacle I saw back the last time

Then what is this world. How did it work I shall find this out.

-3 months later

I was having a backlash of my consciousness in these 3 months and only experienced broken images of my memories. It wasn't physical nor did it alter my well being and all it did was giving me a distorted memories and a feeling of Deja Vu randomly.

A senior doctor came to our house on a visit to check my health.

My mother was out at that time so my father and the doctor approached to examine me.

"Doctor look at him using your visual senses"

Visual senses??What's that?

A bright yellowish orange eyes glittered and stared at my physique.

The doctor was astonished.

"Why does he have so much low concentration of energy on his outer surface while having such dense energy reservoir within his core", the doctor questioned my father.

"That's right even I found this to be strange he has such a great reservoir but yet has distorted outer surface".

I was bewildered at finding out that in this world there was something called energy!! It meant that people living here are not normal but had super human strength.

What did he mean by me having a distorted outer surface?

"This kid he is unique it's not something I have seen before", the doctor stated.

"To think a person could have such thin concentration while having so much energy"

"Hmm it must be that, according to all these reports we can conclude that he shall have a normal energy levels flowing through his outer body by age 9".

"But normally kids gain stability by 6", my father stated.

"Yes its true but your son has a very strong core and thus will take time to gain stability and this needs to be confidential to not be revealed that he has such a type of energy reservoir".

"The word passes through various places and if those syndicates get to know of this happening to a famous person's child you know what comes next right?"

"I understand", My father said in a troubling manner.

"I will protect him"

"I hope he reaches great heights with such a being like him who may not be a prodigy or look strong at first but he is one of a kind and I am sure he will follow your footsteps Maxim Selviar", the senior doc said this after hugging me with his wide and yet a short body as he showed his smile with his wrinkled face and then left to the main city.

I was shocked to find out that neither was this a normal world nor was I the strongest right now from the start.

A world with countless possibilities looked upon me as my first hurdle had become a burden to me now it was my choices that determined the path this world was going to take.

All I can say is that this time I am ready.

Or so Did I think that way...
