Armageddon 16

Kaosu and Wu Bing was walking deeper into the tunnel. They were being led by Zhu Li who was walking ahead of them. The big man Zhu Li was still walking holding his chest. It was still hurting and bruised by Kaosu's punch earlier. "Later I'll make some medicine for you. To compensate you leading us to our friends." Kaosu who broke the awkward silence between him and Zhu Li. "Ye...yes boss thank you." The previously proud Zhu Li turned from a lion to a house cat in front of Kaosu. This just made Wu Bing giggle as she saw that how Zhu Li was acting. This made her rethink how much hell Kaosu put in the three of them. This made Wu Bing shudder at the thought of reminiscing her first zombie kill. She was so afraid but still she toughen up because she realized that being with Kaosu was like a safe place.

Kaosu who kept silence again saw everything that Wu Bing did. And he wondered "Hey Maximus am I really harsh to the trio when I trained them to kill zombies?" he asked Maximus who had kept silence since they discovered the orb. "Host please refrain from talking to me. I'm updating my program cause of that orb and the zombie you defeated there's a ton of new information that was unlocked. Just providing you my assistance in your stats is hard for me so please I'll update you later." Maximus who was quite told Kaosu. That made Kaosu question so many things. But he knew that he will never be able to solve it right now. Because there is still so many missing pieces in the puzzle. So he just tuck away his curious side and thought to himself. What really made the world this way. What happened when they were asleep and why is that Kaosu was the one that woke up late for the apocalypse. As all that was happening in his head the three arrived again in a door. "Boss here we are the entrance to our base." Zhu Li said respectfully to Kaosu.

This made Kaosu stop all of his thinking and replied " Ok please lead me to your boss or you can leave us here and the same ruckus will occur." what Kaosu said made Zhu Li shiver from fear of how many casualties that may produce if he let Kaosu alone. That's why he said "No boss I'll definitely lead you to the council. They are the one that manage this place."

Zhu Li knocked on the door as the a small panel in front of him opened up. The all can see is a pair of eyes and said. "Who are you?" Zhu Li once again regain his proud attitude and said "It's me Zhu Li the guard head. Let me in I have to see the council." This made the pair of eyes widen and quickly opened the door. *Krnng* The sound of the door friction on what seems to be a metalize floor on the other side resounded around them. The man quickly saluted as he was terrified of Zhu Li. Then Zhu Li walked inside leading them. The two who looked at the man as they were passing by saw a blond man with a mild average face that can pick up women if he tried that seems to be wearing a jumpsuit and has a height of . But Kaosu stopped a little and looked not at the man's appearance. Wu Bing noticed this but remained quite.

The group walked again into a dark tunnel. But the difference is that they are seeing a light at the end. They continued to walk towards the end. "Tell me Zhu Li what is the resistance actually." Kaosu asked as they were approaching the light in the end of the tunnel. Zhu Li stepped into the light disappearing from the two's view. Kaosu and Wu Bing too stepped into the end of the tunnel the light blinded for a second. Then when they opened their eyes they saw a large plaza buzzing with various people. The sight was refreshing for them to see. That it even made Kaosu eyes widen and sparkle at the sight of it. Wu Bing on the other hand cant help but cover her mouth and cry a little. The two couldn't believe what they're seeing. That still in the amidst of the armageddon humans still managed to make civilization. Zhu Li who's back was facing them turned and confronted them. "This is the resistance a fragment of life the last civilization in the area. We are here to protect the people. Especially from the clutches of the anarchist rulers in the camp." Zhu Li proudly announced to Kaosu and Wu Bing.

Kaosu expression inside his masked lighten at the sight he was seeing. While Wu Bing calmed down a little. "I see this is the resistance. Now before you tour us I would like to meet my friends Zhu Li." Kaosu now spoked a little lighter to Zhu Li. This made Zhu Li proud and he can't help but smile at the new attitude Kaosu displayed. "Yes Boss right this way. We just need to pass the plaza this large place you're seeing. Then after we are not far from the place the council stays." Zhu Li said a little happier now. He then continued to lead them through the plaza. The two saw many interesting things along the way. They are some people in stalls selling foods, tech,weapons and the thing that caught Kaosu's eyes is seems to be a vest that was made to the same material Kaosu and Wu Bing were wearing. This made him curious who is the one that invented and why is no one is buying in that persons stall. Wu Bing also noticed that stall and looked at Kaosu who just nodded. Wu Bing caught the meaning behind Kaosu's nod and asked Zhu Li. "Hey Zhu Li what are these people selling and can you tell me what's wrong with that stall. Why apart from all of this stall is the one having no customer."

Zhu Li who was leading them and saw where the stall was Wu Bing os asking. "Here in the plaza except from the supplies we resistance daily give the people. They can also sell their stuff here lile some of them scavenge what they can find around the university." Zhu Li answered then quietly said to them. "That's a famous store here because no one wanted to buy off that vest from the owner. We just think of him as a crazy person. Because he is selling a thin coated vest. But he says that even plasma coming from zerdent energy can be blocked by it." Wu Bing nodded at Zhu Li as they continued their way to the council. But Kaosu left a last meaningful glance at the stall before following the two.
