"How long will it take for the back up to arrive?" The one who took up command on the agents ask one of his subordinates as he continued observing the Tristan proto type in a flat screen monitor from a safe place.

They got one of the rooms in the school as a temporary command center.

"Sir, the headquarters said that it will take some time, from thirty minutes to an hour." The subordinate reported truthfully in a very calm and concise manner.

"Damn, we don't have that much time! The information about that knightmare frame said that it can fucking fly!

Fuck!

Oh damn right! There are three of these monster machines here!

Ask for permission to use this thing!

Hurry up!" The one in command hurried ordered with a shout.

"But sir! We already tried!

They said that only the pilots registered in the machine can pilot it.

And also, it seems that a stringent lock mechanism had been installed into this knightmare frames as they are quite important.

Our tech people can't hack into it." The subordinate said in a defeated tone.

"Damn it! If it is so important then why give it to fucking students!

Damn those science department guys!

Fuck them shits!" The commander cursed loudly for a minute or two before stopping as he panted and started catching some breath while all his subordinates around him just stayed silent while making sure to look like they are doing something and is busy.

"Here is some water sir." The subordinate from the beginning until now said as he handed out a bottle of water.

"Thank you, sigh..." The commander said as he sighed in defeat as his situation is really starting to seem like a failed mission. "Does anyone have any suggestion on what we can do?

If no one has any then I will just call HQ for failure, everyone does not need to worry cause I will take all the responsibility for my incompetence.

Sigh...

I will just need to climb back up into this rank again anyway." The commander said in a calm manner with conviction and acceptance.

'Damn! Should have just let this mission go to someone else when I happily having a good vacation.

Tsk tsk...

This greed for merits really did me in.

Sigh...

What was that saying again that I heard when I am undercover in the east?

Birds die for food, humans die for wealth.

Right, something like this.

I really should have thought of his thing much earlier.

Oh, Thankfully I learned this lesson now.

I, at least, did not have to suffer some kind of a life and death predicament before thinking about this kind of things seriously.' He though inwardly with a hint of relief and gratefulness.

"Uhmm... Sir." The subordinate said in a hesitant tone.

"What is it? Just say it, we are already about to fail. The only things worse that could happen is dying and I sure as hell would not give some idiotic orders that could lead to useless death.

Tsk tsk..." The commander said with pride and determination, showing great competence and the reason why he reached this rank.

He was a great colleague after all and everyone that became his subordinate in a mission all told praises about him to everyone.

"Sir, all three new machines have a pilot.

It seems that, we can ask this newly graduated pilots to take down that spy's machine." The subordinate said while feeling touched like everyone of his colleagues after hearing everything that their commander said.

After all, they were on rest too. They just followed their unit commander this time because he suddenly invited them.

All of them had not been specifically assigned to him for this mission as after the commander reached this rank he became used to having this subordinates exclusively into his team.

It is because they all know that it is quite hard to have someone competent while also being agreeable.

There many low nobility in their department after all, while all of them are mostly made up of common origins who had only become an elite after showing competence in their work or school.

This commander of theirs is like them too so they all sympathize with each other.

"Damn! That's a good idea!

Tsk tsk...

You really did not let me down Coulson!

Someone get those two pilots then!

This spy bitch will surely be taken down by two of the same unit as itself!

Hahaha!" The field commander said loudly as he got everyone moving while he continue observing their target.

"Yes, sir!" Everyone shouted loudly as they got motivated again after seeing some hope for success!

A few minutes later...

In the open field where Reynald and Fraye is in.

The sound of a moving knightmare frame was heard again.

But this time, the sound was finer than the one before and from the change in volume, the knightmare frame that let's out this sound seems to be moving much, much faster than the Ganymede model.

And here it is, Reynald and Fraye saw quickly the knightmare frame of Ralph speeding up to them.

It's chromatic color shining up from the sun rays hitting it up.

Reynald immediately got ready for a fight as he did not think about underestimating Ralph even though he only got the third rank barely even after Charles thought him.

No, it is because it was Charles that thought him that Reynald had to take him seriously!

Because Reynald can already imagine having himself as the main opponent to learn from when Charles teaches Ralph.

It was because that's what he will do if he ever had someone to teach just to spite Charles!

And what Reynald thought of is what exactly happened although for an entirely different reason!

Charles's reason for this was that, he accepts Reynald as someone as good as himself in terms of piloting ability.

So having Reynald as the subject for training and learning is good because he can look at Reynald more objectively than looking at himself.

As they said, your enemies would know you better than you yourself is.
