A New World

I'm dying. I feel like my mind is going blank, All the pain washed away. I expected that once I close my eyes everything would finally end.

As I was taking my last breaths I tried to recall my life and I can't help but be disappointed in myself. I live a pathetic life and it's just that sad. I was ambitionless, lazy and talentless I blamed my fate for being worthless and spent my life doing nothing. As I finished contemplating about my life I can't help but smile at my pathetic self. After minutes of struggle I weren't able to hold it anymore and finally I died.

Or so I thought when suddenly I opened my eyes and realized that I'm alive. I tried to remember anything only to fail miserably. For some reason I was void of any emotion and I don't even feel mad about it which totally surprised me.

I was surprised when I look around my body realizing that It was not my own.

Instead of my frail dying body, I was used to, I was now a golden-haired blue-eyed teenager lying what appears to be my room.

I got up and tried to change my clothes to wander around.

At that time I was trying to keep calm and strangely enough I was able to do so. After dying nothing would surprise me anymore after all I already experienced death.

Reaching what looked to be the dining room; I saw that the table in the center had a feast prepared for a king.

Sitting at the far end of the table reading a book was a tall, beautiful blonde haired woman in her early forties who merely smiled and told me to sit down and eat before the food got cold.

When suddenly I received a pain gushing through my head, fortunately I managed to quickly hide my anguished expression so as to not worry the woman in front of me. Finally I started to remember few things about this body. The body that I was currently possessing is Claudius El Britannia 4th prince of Britannia and the woman in front of me is apparently my mother. Though I managed to receive some memories I still haven't got all the memories of Claudius

A few minutes later the woman called out to someone else, looking in the direction she was looking I saw a familiar face.

I sweated a lot after I saw his face after all when I recalled my name earlier I knew that I transmigrated in the Code Geass world and who would have thought that we would share the same mother.

Sure enough clear as day a tall, handsome young man walked into the room, he had corn-silk blond hair that fell to the back of his neck, with light purple eyes, and a gentle face that was smiling at the women warmly like a child to a parent.

I didn't need to hear my mother say his name to know who this was.

It was Schneizel el Britannia 2nd prince of the Holy Britannian Empire.

Schneizel and the women exchanged small talk and asked what she planned for the day.

Then Schneizel asked how I was. I merely said I was fine which made him grin for some reason.

He then went on to ask me how I was doing, I merely responded I was all right, as I decided that short brief answers were my best option at this point.

I decided short and brief answers were best here to let them do the talking so I could learn more.

Nodding and saying that he was glad, as he didn't have as much to spend time with family anymore.

And that it was nice to sit down and have a meal with his mother and brother

The women who I now knew was our mother went on to say that she felt it was wonderful to have the family back together and to see both of her sons.

After we finished the breakfast I finally got up and exchange small talk with my mother and brother before leaving.

I went back to my room and found books in the library written by authors I never heard about, a large wardrobe containing many princely outfits that looked to be a mix between old European nobility and traditional formal wear.

Thinking that I transmigrated in the Code Geass world I can't finally hold back my laugh and fell to my bed. If I'm going to be living in an anime I guess it could have been worse, I might as well make the most of it. I didn't realize that I was mentally exhausted and finally fell asleep.
