11 "I'm the man !"

[like i said in an earlier chapter, i'm level zero at writing romance so tell me if i made some mistake or something. (Just writing romance make me wanna hide myself)

Then Johnny gave everyone but me, Miguel and Aisha, Gi and when everyone changed he asked us to get in fighting position.

Then Johnny walked around everyone when he aproached a kid who flinched.

"Did you just flinch, Virgin ?" Johnny turned to someone else who flinched too "Holy shit, we got a room full of flinchers !"

"Yes, sensei !" Everyone replied and i chuckled at their response.

"That was not a question !" Johnny shouted before asking "Raise your hand if you've never been punched in the face !"

Everyone but I, Miguel and Aisha raised their hands.

Johnny sighed "Ok, put your hands down. All your lives, you've been avoiding fights, so you don't break your nose or lose a tooth or this concussion nonsense ! So there's only one solution and that is before you leave this dojo, each and every of you is gonna take a punch, in the face." He turned to Aisha and said "Ms. Robinson, line 'em up ! Unflinch this group." Before going to his office.

Me and Miguel followed him.

"Hey, sensei, i need to ask you something." Miguel asked.

"First aid's under the counter. We got a bleeder ?" Johnny replied while looking at a martial art magazine.

"No, well yeah but it's about something else." Miguel replied.

"What is it ?" Johnny asked.

"Well, there's a girl at school..." Miguel was intterupted by Johnny "is she hot ?"

"...and she's super smart..."

"Hot ?"

"...Funny and cool..."

"Hot ?" Johnny asked for the last time as Miguel sighed and replied "Yes, she's hot, super hot. I think you'd like her, she like karate, and....I wanna ask her out, but i don't know."

"Don't know ? What's there to think about ? She's hot, and all those other things." Johnny replied dumbfounded.

"Well, yeah but, what if she says no ?" Miguel asked.

"Never accept defeat, Diaz. There is no "no" !" Johnny replied.

"Pretty sure no means no." Miguel said.

"If things are getting physical, no means no but if you're just asking her out... You're a Cobra Kai ! All the babe wanna date a Cobra Kai." Johnny told Miguel.

"Yeah, did you forgot our moto ? Strike first, strike hard, no mercy !" I chuckled.

"Are we entering this tournament ?" Miguel asked as he saw the magazine.

"I don't think we're ready yet." Johnny replied as we saw Hawk get knocked on the ground and lose a teeth.

The next day we where all waiting at the dojo when we heard Johnny shouting in his office "Banned ? What are you talking about ?"

Me and Miguel entered the office.

"No, you don't ban me ! I'll ban you !" Johnny shouted before stopping his call.

"Sensei, what's going on ?" Miguel asked.

"Yeah, we can hear you from at least a mile away." I chuckled.

"There's a lifetime ban on Cobra Kai from entering the tournament !" Johnny replied with a groan.

"What ? How is that fair ?" Miguel asked.

"It's not ! There's nothing i can do about it." Johnny replied.

"What happened to "never accept defeat" ? There is no "no" ?" Miguel said.

"That was girl advice. This is different ! This is the real world, there are rules." Johnny explained.

"Since when do you care about rules ? "We don't take no for an answer," you said that ! You gotta fight this !" Miguel said.

"You know what ? You're right, i'm gonna go down there..." Johnny started while Miguel nodded "Yeah !"

"...and beat their asses." Johnny continued.

"Yeah. No, no, no ! What ? No, that's not what i meant. I'm saying maybe there's a more delicate approach, Sensei ?" Miguel said while i was chuckling and facepalming.

"The way of the fist is not delicate ! Cobra are not delicate." Johnny replied.

"Yes, yes, sorry. I...Forget delicate. I'm just saying, maybe there's a smarter way to fight back ?" Miguel said and i nodded.

"You could go there and ask to unban the dojo." I said and Johnny nodded.

"Also, i have a date." I told them.

"With Moon ?" Miguel asked.

"Yeah, i'm gonna ask her out tonight, we're going Hiking and Picnic."

"Hiking and Picnic ? Seriously ? You sure you're my son ?" Johnny sighed.

"I'm sure Miguel's idea is worse !" I grumbled.

"Hey, fuck you !" Miguel chuckled.

"Where are you taking her ?" Johnny asked Miguel.

"The observatory, little picnic on the lawn, chocolate tasting three ways, and if the sky's clear, then we'll look at the stars." Miguel explained.

"The only part of all that that made any sense at all is "three-way" !" Johnny said.

"It'll be fun." Miguel said.

Johnny sighed "All right, listen you two. If you want to impress them you gotta take them to where i used to take all my babes back in the day."

"Where's that ?" Miguel asked.

"Golf'n stuff !" Johnny replied with a smirk.

[A few hours later]

I parked in front of Moon's house, took a deep breath and walked up to Moon's front door and rang the doorbell, a few Moments later, the door swung open, and there she was, Moon, dressed in a loose, bohemian-inspired blouse paired with a jean and a pair of sneakers and her hair was braided to the side.

"Dylan, hey !" Moon greeted me.

"Hey, Moon. Ready for a fun night ?" I replied grinning.

"Absolutely !" Moon replied with a bright smile.

Moon eagerly climbed into the passenger seat of my car and i drove us to Golf'n stuff.

As we arrived at Golf 'n Stuff, Moon's eyes lit up with excitement "Mini-golf and arcade games ? It's gonna be fun !"

"Let's see who's got the better swing !" I grinned and she chuckled "Loser buys ice cream after ?"

"You're on !" I grinned.

We started with a round of mini-golf, Moon didn't stop teasing me about my golfing skill.

After my lost at mini-golf, we headed to the arcade.

We played lots of games and gained lots of tickets.

I saw Miguel with Sam from the corner of my eyes and they were having fun too but we didn't approach them.

Then we got out of the arcade to exchange our tickets.

We got in front of the counter where a colorful display of toys, trinkets, and treats where.

Moon eagerly scanned the shelves "look at this cute plushie !" And pointed to a tiger plushie.

The staff member gave her the plushie.

"Thank you !" Moon replied, clutching her new plushie with delight.

"How about we grab a snack and find a nice spot to relax for a bit ?" I proposed.

"Sounds perfect ! You owe me an ice cream after all." Moon teased and giggled.

Sitting on a bench, munching on nachos, I glanced at Moon who was licking her ice cream.

"So, Dylan, mini-golf champion, huh ?" Moon teased.

"Yeah, yeah, rub it in." I chuckled.

"Don't worry, Dylan. Maybe you'll win next time." Moon laughed.

We chatted for a while longer "Well, we should probably head back !" I suggested reluctantly. "It's getting late."

"Dylan," she began "There's something I've been wanting to do all night."

Before I could respond, Moon leaned in, closing the distance between us, and joined her lips with mine.

I froze, stunned by what was happening, i wanted to kiss her when i accompanied her home but it seems she stiked first.

'She would be a good Cobra Kai' i chuckled in my mind before returning the kiss.

When we pulled back, I saw a beautiful blush spreading across Moon's cheeks.

"I've been wanting to do that for a while !" Moon admitted.

"Me too !" I confessed.

Then we kissed again but longer this time.

Then i accompanied her home.

I parked in front of her house.

"I'm really glad we did this," Moon said softly.

"Me too, it's been a great night !" I replied with a smile.

"Thank you for tonight, Dylan." she said sincerely.

Moon leaned in again, her lips brushing against mine in a gentle kiss.

As Moon stepped out of the car, she paused at the doorway of her house, turning back to give me one last smile before disappearing inside.

I sat here for a moment thinking about tonight and drived to the dojo.

I entered the dojo and saw Johnny and Miguel hugging each other.

"Huh i'm coming back later." I said.

Miguel chuckled and Johnny said "Fuck you, we are participating at the tournament and Miguel's the man."

Then Miguel asked "So, how did it go ?"

"I'm the man !" I replied and they gave me high five's.

"All right, i'm gonna grab soda. Do you want a Beer ?" Miguel asked.

"No, no. This calls for a real toast !" Johnny said as he entered his office to search somthing.

Johnny exited his office with a bottle of vodka and three cup and said "The good stuff, for real men." And filled our cup.

"We're the men !" I toasted.

"We're the men !" Miguel and Johnny repeated.
