16 Larusso's house

Brooks took a while and enjoyed the road as he drove to the address he heard last night. He saw a house and parked in the driveway before walking to the door. He ran his fingers through his hair and knocked on the door. A woman came to the door and said "Hello?" a little kid said "Ugh, you're not the amazon guy." Brooks said "Uh, sorry I'm not the amazon guy. Is Mr. Larusso home?"

The woman shook her head and said "He's not here, you're looking for him?" Brooks scratched his neck and said "Actually, I-" he was interrupted by Sam, who came to the door and said "What are you doing at my house!"

The woman was stunned and was silent for a moment before smiling towards Brooks and saying "Would you like to come inside?" Brooks was taken back and smiled before saying "If I'm not bothering anyone." the woman smiled and said "Not at all, please. I'm Amanda, nice to meet you."

Sam shouted "Mom! He's-" Brooks smiled and cut her off saying "I'm Brooks, it's a pleasure." Amanda smiled and brought him inside before closing the door. Brooks sat at the table and smiled "You have a very nice home, Ms. Larusso." Amanda smiled and said "Thank you Brooks. How do you know my daughter?"

Brooks said "We go to the same school." as he smiled at Sam, who was glaring at him from across the table. Amanda sighed and said "This girl brings me so much trouble. You would not believe she was a super daddy's girl when she was younger!" Sam shouted "Mom!" Brooks laughed and said "Really? I really don't believe it."

Amanda laughed and said "She was always following my husband around and begging him to teach her karate." Brooks chuckled and listened to Amanda talk, sometimes giving his own opinion and making a joke. Sam was grinding her teeth so hard it was audible, but nobody else could hear it over the conversation.

Suddenly the doorbell rang.

Anthony, Sam's brother, jumped off the chair and said "My drone!" Amanda sighed and said "If you'll excuse me for a moment." Brooks smiled and said "No problem." Amanda smiled and left the kitchen.

Brooks turned to Sam and said "If you keep grinding your teeth like that, you'll lose 'em." Sam said "What are you doing here." Brooks said "Well at first I came to see if my dad was here. Your uncle or whatever torched my dad's car. Then I heard what happened to Miguel, but now I'm enjoying talking with your mom, she's really nice."

Sam said "Yeah well she's my mom. Not yours. Also what happened to Miguel?" Brooks said "He didn't tell you?" Sam was confused and Brooks said "Maybe it's not my place to say anything." Sam said quickly "Just tell me! Please!" Brooks gave her a hard look before sighing and saying "He came here last night to meet your family. Apparently you were eating with some guy, who he could tell wasn't your brother. I wonder what happened?"

Sam frowned before her eyes widened and she said "But it was nothing! Why didn't he. Argh!" Brooks chuckled and said "Why don't you just text him?" Sam replied "My mom took my phone because Yasmine smashed into some guy's car."

Brooks frowned and said "Some guy's car? What kind of car?" Sam said "I don't know, some red bucket of bolts." Brooks deadpanned and said "Did the lights of the car come out of the hood." Sam nodded and said "That's the one! How did you know?"

Brooks said "That's my dad's car." Sam froze and said "Oh." Brooks rolled his eyes as he said "Just fix things with Miguel or break up with him. You're so high maintenance." Sam frowned and said "What is that supposed to mean?" Brooks sneered and said "You need your hand held through everything is what it means."

Sam's face turned ugly and she was about to retort when Amanda's voice was heard "Robby, I want you to meet someone. Come with me." Brooks frowned and said "Robby?" Sam nodded and Brooks said "Don't tell me... This is getting complicated." Sam was confused and Amanda come into the kitchen as she said "Sam, Robby's here. Also Robby, this is Brooks."

Robby followed behind her and froze as he looked at Brooks, who was looking at him with a frown. Robby frowned and said "What are you doing here?" Amanda said "So you know each other?" Brooks smiled and said "Yes, thank you Ms. Larusso." he stood up and said to Robby "Living room." Robby nodded and followed him out.

Amanda looked at Sam, who just shrugged, Amanda sighed and sat down at her computer.

Brooks was standing in front of Robby and said "What are you doing here." Robby said "I don't think that's any of your business." Brooks got up in his face and said "It is my business. What are you doing here. Do you know who Sam's father is?" Robby said "Daniel Larusso. The guy who has beef with dad."

Brooks said "Exactly, why are you here?" he paused and said "Also, why were you here last night." Robby said "How did you know I was here last night?" Brooks said "Don't worry about how I know. I want to know what you've been up to. I know you're not fucking around with those losers anymore. You can thank me later, I had to sit in a holding cell just to get them out of your life."

Robby pushed him away and said "I could've handled it myself. You abandoned us, why should I care about you or him?" Brooks frowned and said "Is this the path you want to take, Robby? Are you absolutely sure you want to be the enemy?" Robby was silent and Brooks added as he pointed to himself and said "Do you know how much I sacrificed for you and that whore?"

Robby shouted "Don't call her that!" Brooks sneered and said "How is she now? Still looking for the 'right guy'? What a joke. Did she tell you I saw her at her usual spot a while ago?" Robby shook his head and Brooks chuckled as he said "Even after I left she's still whoring around, just like always."

Robby clenched his fist and shouted "I said don't call her that!" before throwing a punch. Brooks blocked the punch and laughed "Woah, the kid has guts. Where did you learn that?" Robby was silent and kicked, Brooks blocked with his knee and added "Not in here, Robby."

Robby ignored him and kicked again, Brooks frowned and said "I said. Not in here!" he blocked the kick and punched Robby in the stomach, Robby let out a mouthful of air and held his stomach. Brooks sat him down on the couch and said "Listen, take care of yourself."

Robby looked up and Brooks smiled "We both know one day she's just going to up and leave without even thinking about you. What are you going to do then? You think Larusso will take you in when he finds out the truth?" Robby was silent and they both heard "Is everything alright in here?"

Brooks turned around and smiled "No problems, Mrs. Larusso. Sorry for the noise." Amanda nodded and said "As long as you guys are okay." Brooks nodded and his cellphone started ringing, he answered and said "Hello. Oh, really? I'll be there in a bit. Yeah, yeah, chill. Alright, bye."

Brooks glanced at Robby and smiled at Amanda as he said "Me and Robby are old friends, we just got a bit rowdy. Thank you so much for letting me in, I have something to do or I would stay, I'm sorry." Amanda smiled and said "It's not a problem your welcome at any time, Brooks." Robby stared at Brooks with his mouth open, he knew Brooks called him an old friend so that Larusso wouldn't know Johnny was his dad. He clenched his fists in frustration.

Brooks shook his head and said "I don't think It's very appropriate Mrs. Larusso. My dad is Johnny Lawrence. I'm sorry for bothering you, I'll be going now." he smiled and left through the front door. Amanda was startled before sighing and saying "Are you okay, Robby?"

Robby nodded and said "Sorry, Mrs. Larusso." He stood up and smiled, Amanda smiled and said "If you need anything just let me know." Robby smiled and said nothing as she walked back to the kitchen, when she was gone Robby let out a breath and looked at the front door with an angry, yet hopeless look.

Brooks sat on his bike and looked at the house for a moment before sighing and leaving. He drove on the road and took his time, he pulled out his phone and called Tory before wedging his phone between his ear and shoulder and continuing to drive.

Tory answered "Killer?" Brooks said "Hey Porker, where do you work? There's a party tonight but I want to see you first." Tory giggled and said "Awwn did the big bad Brooks miss meee~" Brooks chuckled and said "Maybe a little." Tory laughed and said "The roller rink..." after giving Broks the address he hung up saying "See you soon."

A while later

Brooks walked into the roller rink and sat down at a table at the bar. The bartender said "You can't sit here." Brooks looked at him and said "Why not. I've sat here before." The bartender was about to say something when another, older, bartender came over and said "Boss covers his tabs, don't ask any questions." the older guy looked at Brooks and said "Here on business?" Brooks smirked and said "Not today."

The older guy looked relieved and said "Same old?" Brooks nodded and the guy left. The younger bartender said "I'm sorry, sir." Brooks waved and said "Leave." the guy nodded and left. Tory stood and looked around before seeing Brooks at the bar and walked over.

Brooks felt arms around his neck and smiled "Hey, Porky. You should've told me you work here." Tory was confused and said "Why?" Brooks said "I know a guy here." the older bartender walked back with a drink and said to Tory "Don't disturb Mr. Reaper." Tory frowned and Brooks said "She's with me."

The bartender was surprised and Brooks gave him a look. The bartender nodded and put down his drink before leaving the bar to the employees only section.

Brooks drank from his drink and grinned at Tory, who gave him a skeptical look as she said "Reaper?" Brooks scratched his neck and said "Maybe I look like someone else." Tory frowned and said "What did he mean?" Brooks sighed and patted the seat next to him.

She said "I'm still-" Brooks cut her off and said "Someone will fill in." as he pointed behind her, she looked to see the older bartender doing her job without a complaint. She looked back at Brooks, filled with curiosity as she said "Who are you?"

Brooks sighed and said "Remember when I told you I had to work for my mom and brother to pay all the bills, plus get suckers for my mom?" Tory nodded and Brooks said "That's not all. My mom quit her job and started relying on only me, she blew all the money my dad paid for child support on pills and all the money I gave her on alcohol. My brother wanted something, I had to pay from my pocket, the same thing with the bills and food."

Tory frowned and said "What kind of mother is that?" Brooks sighed and said "A bad one. Anyway, just a normal job wasn't enough. I started taking two jobs, but that wasn't enough either. Then the boss of the mechanic place I was working at gave me a job. I was strong and needed the money so I accepted."

Tory said "What kind of job?" Brooks smiled and said "Collector. You don't pay the fees on time, I show up to collect them. That's how I got the name Reaper." Tory gasped and said "So your scars.." Brooks nodded and said "Yeah, funnily enough a 15 year old kid coming to collect money wasn't very threatening." Tory held his hand and squeezed tightly, Brooks smiled and said "I thought you'd be scared."

Tory smirked and said "I don't owe you any money why would I be scared? Besides, I'm your Porker for life!" before her face slowly turned red as she realized how that sounded. Brooks was stunned before a goofy smile sprawled across his lips and he said "Thank you, Tory."

Tory smiled and kissed him before whispering "Plus we can go collect together!" Brooks laughed and said "I got out before I left my mom's. Super high price to pay." Tory cupped his cheeks and smiled as she said "Good. You're out now, plus you have the reputation."

Brooks smiled and said "Wanna come to the party?" Tory sighed and shook her head as she said "Maybe you can do it but I still need the money." Brooks said "I still have 12 grand, if y-" Tory put her finger on his lips and said seriously "Brooks. I'm not taking your money."

Brooks looked at Tory sadly and she smiled saying "I'm getting by just fine. If I really need it I will ask, okay?" Brooks nodded and pulled Tory's face towards him before kissing her and saying "Remember, I'm always on your side." Tory smiled and touched her forehead with Brooks' as she said softly "I will." Brooks smiled and kissed her before drowning his drink and looking at his phone.

Tory got off the chair and said "I'll see you tomorrow?" Brooks nodded and said "If you need me, call me." Tory nodded and said cheekily "If I don't need you can I call you anyway?" Brooks chuckled and said "I don't know.. I might be busy with other girls. You know how it is." Tory rolled her eyes and made scissors with her fingers as she said "I dare you, Killer."

Brooks laughed and kissed her forehead before leaving and saying "I'll keep it in mind, Porker!" Tory giggled and went back to work.

Brooks got out of the roller rink and sat on his bike before driving away with a smile on his face. Not too many people in his personal life knew he was 'Reaper' and now there was one more.
