Chapter 1

The Encino Oaks country club.

Sunday Afternoon.

My name is Max Jonathan Mills, the son of Ali Mills and Gregory Schwaber, well actually his my stepfather, though he actually doesn't know that.

My real father and the reason I moved to Encino Los Angeles is actually one Johnny Lawrence.

Yes only recently my mother spilled the beans about my real father, an old highschool boyfriend she slept with when she visited my grandmother in Encino, apparently her and my stepfather were going through a rough time and were on a break or so she says, now I've came to California to meet my biological father, I don't really expect much from him just want to get to know him and maybe learn some Karate from him, I've already learned some Taekwondo and won a few tournaments, my mother told me I get the talent for karate from my father, I hope to learn from him.

Two people can be seen sitting opposite each other having lobster for dinner, one is an old lady wearing a lovely white dress and the other a very handsome young man with light green eyes and sandy blonde hair wearing a tight olive t-shirt showing his lean muscular body and arms, wearing black skinny jeans and black loafers.

Almost every girl and women in the country club have been eyeing the young man hungrily since he's walked in, even some grannies are looking at him like he's prey.

Those two people are Max and his grandmother Amy Mills.

My grandmother and I are currently having dinner at the country club.

"Maxy it's so nice to see you again, you've grown so big and handsome." My grandmother says excitedly.

"Thank you grandmother, it's lovely seeing you after so long." I say smiling warmly at my grandmother.

"Yes it's a pity you guys lived so far or else I would have liked to see you guys some more often, how are the others?"

"Ava and Lucas are fine, Ava is a straight A student and Lucas is going to some Ivy league school." I tell her.

"What about your mother?" My grandmother asks slightly nervous.

The reason she's nervous is because she knows I moved here not only to see my dad, but also to get away from my mother who's lied to me for 16 years.

"She's fine." I answer curtly.

"Grandmother, I'm going to get some more bread." I say getting up and going to the buffet table.

At the table I notice a beautiful women with blue eyes green eyes and brown hair, that was my childhood crush Aunt Amanda Laruso, I used to play with her daughter Sam at the country club just so I could see her and standing next to her is my old best friend Samantha Laruso, she's grown up to be very pretty more so than even her mom, Sam has dark brown hair and beautiful blue eyes.

"Sam!." I raise my voice a little calling out to her.

Both Aunt Amanda and Sam look around to see who called her, her and aunt Amanda spot me and their eyes widen in surprise.

Sam and Amanda Pov.

"Sam!" I hear someone call my name, I turn around to see who's calling me.

My eyes are almost immediately caught by a handsome boy standing at about 6'2 with blonde hair and light green eyes, wearing an olive colored tight long sleeve t-shirt that shows off his lean muscular body that would make any girl drool.

I check my mouth to make sure I'm not actually drooling.

"Ohh what a handsome boy, he seems to know you Sam, is he your new crush?." My mother asks teasingly.

"Mom I haven't seen him before." I say confused by why his calling me.

The boy starts walking over and I can't help but feel a little nervous as he approaches us.

"Aunt Amanda, Sam it's nice seeing you guys again." He says greeting both me and my mother.

"I'm sorry young man, have we met before?" My mother asks confused.

For some reason he does actually look familiar, I just can't remember from where.

"Yea I'm sorry, I don't quite remember you." I say slightly embarrassed at forgetting such a handsome guy.

"Wow booger breath, I'm surprised you forgot your best friend." The boy says pouting.

My eyes widen in realization.

There's only one person who calls me booger breath.

"Max?" I ask still in shock.

If he is Max, he went from a skinny short kid with glasses to... to this... this male model, I think shocked.

"Yea it's good to see you two again." He says giving me a charming smile.

My heart starts to beat a little faster and I can feel my face getting a little hot seeing that smile.

"Oh it's little Maxy, well not so little anymore you've grown so much." My mother says just as shocked.

"Thanks Aunt Amanda." Gabriel with a smile.

Suddenly my mother looks over to another table.

"Oh no Anthony stop drinking the butter!" She yells at my brother.

"Max, I hope you'll join us for dinner, sometime this week, I have to go talk to my son.

"Will do Aunt Amanda." He says with a small chuckle.

My mother runs off leaving us two alone.

"So booger breath how have you been?" He asks me with a teasing smirk.

"Shut up Max I only did it once on a dare from you actually." I say glaring at him.

"Alright I'm sorry about that, but it was funny, ok how you been Sammy? you're looking good." He asks giving another charming smile that makes my heart beat a little faster.

"I'm good, what about you, no more glasses and you've grown alot." I say still a little flustered his compliment.

"Yea I got that lazer eye surgery a few years ago and as for my height well I ate my vegetables." He says jokingly.

"Hehehe... so what you doing back here?" I ask curious as to what he's doing here, it isn't school holidays.

"Well I'm actually moving to Encino with my grandmother, she's been lonely since my grandfathers passed away, so I decided to stay with her to give her some company." Gabriel tells me.

Ohh how sweet, he hasn't changed, still as sweet as ever.

"That's so nice of you." I say giving him a sweet smile.

"I try."

"So Sammy what highschool do you go too?"

"Oh I go to West Valley high." I tell him.

"Oh yea since you moved here, are you going to West Valley aswell." I ask my excitement rising.

"Yea I am, sweet we'll be classmates then." Max says his tone happy.

"Yea that's awesome." I say smiling at him.

"Maxy your lobsters getting cold!" I hear someone yell.

I look to see who it is oh it's his grandmother, for some reason I feel relived after seeing her.

"Gotta go Sammy, I'll see you tomorrow." Max says with a smile and leans forward grabbing me into his embrace and giving me a hug.

He's body feels so warm and sturdy, it feels good being hugged by him.

I return his hug, enjoying his embrace.

I can feel my heartbeat racing again and my cheeks are definitely red now.

He pulls away and walks back to his grandmother.

I walk over to our table where I see my mom staring at me, her eyes saying she wants to know what happened.

Max Pov.

Meeting Sammy and Aunt Amanda was nice, I was surprised at how pretty Sam has become, her dark brown hair, beautiful blue eyes and those cute dimples when she smiles, she really has become beautiful.

After dinner Grandmother and I went back to her mansion in Encino, I drove her in my 2016 Ford GT black mustang.

After getting back I greet my grandmother goodnight.

"Goodnight grandmother." I say and give her a kiss on the cheek.

"Goodnight Maxy." My grandmother says happy with my affection.

I walk upstairs to my room, my room is really nice with a big king-sized bed, 74 inch plasma TV with my PS4 and Xbox1 connected to it, and a gaming setup, there's also a sliding glass door that leads to a balcony overlooking the neighborhood.

I change into my Pjamas and immediately head to sleep.
