The irritation (1)

"Ohhhh I hate him" complained Nina Thermopolis to her best friend Ria Thompson. 'But he is not that bad' thought Ria though the words she said were "Yes indeed! very irritating", receiving the classic 'side-eye' from Nina as they were walking back to their working women's hostel from the mighty 'SS Corporation' owned by the city's top tier business family.

Nina had a rough day. 'No! he made my day miserable' she thought and stumbled on the road because she was angry, extremely angry. Her mind was messed up and she had to clear her thoughts. She wanted a breather and her go to relaxation was her strong cup of hot coffee in her favourite shop which was luckily just opposite her hostel. So she sighed and said, "Ria, i need a breather.. so don't mind and leave me alone for a while. I will clear my head and come back to the room in time for dinner". Ria who knew Nina all too well said, "Fine!! Go ahead, I'll wait to catch up with you to go downstairs for the dinner" and left Nina alone walking ahead. Nina waved her a good bye and crossed the road to enter the cafe.

This particular cafe was not a very big place. It was the right size according to Nina's liking. Nina was a girl who enjoyed her solitude. She needed 'Me-Time' everyday to get her thoughts right and today she definitely needed one!! 'Just what does that Jordan think of himself? Just because he was her superior at work and he is almost perfect doesn't necessarily mean she is bad! Yes, not everyone is perfect! How could he just say anything to her? Just how could he scold her in front of everyone present in the meeting hall? Just for that small mistake? It is not like she did it on purpose?!' Nina was furious today. The usual calm and composed Nina was just too furious today. She could have just replied back harshly saying 'You cannot speak to me anyway you want, just cannot speak like that! Who do you think you are to me? Who gave you the authority to boss over me?' but then her senses were revived! She was in a conference room and the audience were important clients and that 'idiot' Jordan was her superior. She cannot just blurt out whatever comes to her mind. Her Father had always told her think thousand times before speaking anything and asked her specifically to be calm and composed all the time as patience was indeed a virtue!! She always listened to her elders especially her Father for she respected and loved him a lot!

But Jordan.. he was the only one who could infuriate her! She didn't know how or why he could turmoil her closely guarded emotions! She hated him.. She hated him from the pits of her inner self!!
