1 Chapter 1. First encounter-(1)

At Kang's main mansion:

Kang's residence is located in the wealthiest part of Seoul, is the most expensive mansion in the whole city, if not in the whole country, owned by the richest person in Korea.

The mansion, which can be easily assumed as a castle, standing tall and proud, bearing the pride of the Kangs. Under the night sky, filled with fleeting clouds, with occasional moonlight peeking down to shine the majestic mansion and the bright sodium vapour lights that surrounded the perimeter of the residence , made its appearance jaw droppingly stunning and intimidating.

Beautiful luscious greenery surrounded the mansion, which was then surrounded by high walls and current fences attached to them. Guards in black suits and ear pieces, were seen roaming around the perimeter of the mansion, to look out for any suspicious activity and to ensure maximum security at the mansion's perimeter.

Even at such an hour, the mansion is filled with workers, who are roaming here and there and going in and out of the mansion, completing their part of chores. The atmosphere was light, even though the sky was cloudy and the gentle breeze that blew that night gave a pleasant aura around the whole area. Everything is filled with harmony to look at and it is nothing out of ordinary.

But, not everything that we see is true nor everything that we hear should be believed. The atmosphere inside the mansion is quite opposite to the one present outside.

The interior design of the mansion can, in brief, can be described as the one told in fairy tales. The exquisite lighting, seemingly coming from all directions of the huge hall decorated in white and creamish white theme, with red splatters, and the grand paintings that hung on the walls of the living area, accompanied with the grand staircase present in the middle, screamed elegance and power, which instantly could make anyone feel insecure in themselves seeing the richness of the house.

Pin drop silence was enveloping the insides of the mansion, opposite to the lively atmosphere outside. No one is seen inside the mansion, not even maids and servants. No rustle, no movement. Absolutely no life in vision range, from the entrance. It can be mistaken as a haunted house shown in the beginning of the horror movies, if not for the high maintenance and ambience of the place.

Yes, it is indeed calm and serene inside the mansion.

But, not everything is peaceful with the people inside the mansion.

Inside a room, which is easily the size of small two bedroom flat fit for a middle-class family, sat a young man, completely motionless. If not for the occasional blinking of his eyes, one would think he was dead or was an undead.

The young man with chestnut brown hair, with warm and delicate honey brown eyes, which seemed to be empty and nervous, sat on the queen-sized bed of the room, starring blankly at the wall in front of him.

His thoughts are jumbled. They were racing at the speed of a mile per hour, as if having a competition among them. The sequence of actions happened so fast, he didn't have time to process anything. And, his brain was trying its very best to get a hold on the situation.

Whom should he blame? himself? or someone else? or his fate? or his lack of decision making? No matter whom he decided to blame, absolutely nothing could change the fact, nor this situation. He had to face the consequences of the situation he willingly accepted and decided himself, and most possibly can't duck out at this moment now. If he wants to change, he had to go beyond the time and that was highly impossible.

At the thought of seeing her again, sweat broke out of his forehead, his chiseled face scrunched up in unknown worry. "Why did I come here in the first place? It was wrong." He muttered slowly under his breath, disturbing the silence that was enveloping the room.

As soon as those words left his mouth, a long sigh left his soft, pink lips, trying to calm himself to the best of his abilities, right now. But, the impending doom that he envisioned in his mind was enough to spike up his heart rate.

His actions would have adverse effects on both his and her life. Yet, he decided to do this. That felt right at that moment, but now he was questioning his whole existence.

His beautiful honey brown eyes conflicted between an unknown fear and regret. What is he even doing here? He questioned himself for umpteenth time, trying to reason out with himself. However, he couldn't answer himself, then how in the hell will he answer all the questions about this messed up situation, that he installed himself into?

His slender, long fingers swept through his silky locks in weariness, swallowing the big lump formed in his throat, readying himself to accept whatever was the result, his fate decided for him.

It's not like he got the power to force anything upon anyone and he really couldn't do it. He really had no power against the Kang's. But, he hoped whatever the decision would be taken, will be in favor for all of them.

Yes, he was ready to accept anything decided by Kang Ha Na. Because, in every human, there is something called heart, which needs it's time to accept and he couldn't bare to shatter it just to justify himself or his actions.

Henceforth, he would willingly accept whatever the decision made by her. This is the result when someone else decides one's future and probably he could also be claimed as an victim of time and fate.

But, aren't all humans victims of time and fate? Or maybe its just our actions that turn our fate and time.

So, he just sat there silently, waiting.....
