To the New Reader

BiB was scrapped for a new book.

The new series, titled 'Playing Checkers in the Rain' is currently being uploaded on another platform:

At this point, it has already surpassed BiB in the wordcount. The number of chapters is smaller, because they are bigger.

It's likely that by the time you read this post, the book will already be much much longer. So, head to TapRead to dive into the story.

If you're a new-comer and want to keep reading the old story on webnovel, go ahead - I'll leave the old content hanging on webnovel for the time being. But, be warned - the new book changed a lot. In fact, I consider them to be completely different stories. So, if you're a new reader, it makes sense for you to simply go and read the new book .

I'd also much rather see you reading PCitR, because the quality of the writing is so much better (after all, there's a 2-year-difference between BiB and PCitR).
