16 Chapter 16: Drunkenness_1

Due to the effects of alcohol, Basil Jaak barely got any sleep throughout the night, not until the morning.

Struggling to keep his eyes open, Basil Jaak checked the time, it was already past eight in the morning. It was a relief that it was the weekend, and he didn't have to report to work. Rolling over, he decided to catch some more sleep.

Unable to get the girl's address out of her the previous night, Basil Jaak brought her home and let her stay in his room while he slept on the couch. From the ID attached to her, Basil Jaak learned that her name was Xenia Wendleton, three years younger than him and not a local resident.

Last night, due to Xenia Wendleton throwing up all over Basil Jaak and herself, he had no choice but to get the landlord in the middle of the night to help her change into one of his oversized t-shirts, and wash the dirty clothes.
