57. Happy birthday

Everyone in the house had fallen asleep. Even Roxy that laid on the same bed with her had long began to have nightmares of lizards.

But Erina sat up on the bed. With her pillow over her chest, and her phone in her hand, in the middle of the night, counting the seconds and minutes as it slowly moved on her screen.

Patiently but eagerly waiting for the clock to strike twelve. 

``When the clock strikes twelve, will he call me?`` She could only wonder. But she desperately wished he would call her. She wanted to hear those words first from him. ``Happy Birthday.``

She's been watching too much romance movies, and they've really messed up with her head. Now, she was expecting her whole life to play out like the life of the female lead in a romance movie.
