"I, Zes Xander, reject you, Knox Everett, as my mate, the King of werewolves and Alpha of Silver Moon Pack." As those words left my mouth, tears fell all over my face. Knox looked shocked. To break a mate bond he should accept it. "I do not accept it," he replied with a blank, emotionless. But his eyes held a lot of emotions I couldn't do anything. I trusted him. I trusted him easily. I trusted him even after all I got from everyone I trusted was a betrayal. Why do I do the same mistake every time?

Home Sweet Home

Knox tried to catch up and also managed to, but I ignored him. I went to catch up with Mae, I knew exactly where she was.

"There she is!" I exclaimed.

She was in the food court. Why am I not surprised about this?

She had light brown hair and blonde highlights which looked good on her. She didn't wear any makeup and she had piercing brown eyes. She was slightly shorter than me. She is my future Beta and my best friend. She turned towards me and whistled and gave me 'the look'. I turned to see who was behind me.

"Knox!" I exclaimed. When I turned there was a kissable distance between me and him. I quickly stepped back and blushed in embarrassment. Zene giggled, Mae was still whistling and Knox smirked.

Then one pack member came and informed, "Knox, Alpha Samuel asked you to come."

"Ohh! Okay, bye beautiful see you later~" he said to me and walked away with his back facing me.

"Bye, Knox," I murmured. But he heard it, he turned and winked at me! I blushed and stuffed food in my mouth. I heard him chuckle.

I saw Mae wiggling her eyebrows at me while eating. I ignored her and went outside my packhouse and went to my house. It's easy to find my house, it's the biggest one in the pack and was covered with snow and it looked so beautiful with all those fairy lights.

I walked into my house and saw my mom watching over some pups in the living room. She is the Luna of the pack.

I climbed the hardwood stairs, the grey wall was beautifully decorated with pictures of my mom and dad and a lot more of me. There were flower vases attached to the wall too. I smiled and walked towards my room, the first room in the walkway was mine. The wall was ashy white. I opened my wooden door and entered my room. When I opened the door a husky pup barked and jumped on me.

"Woah, boy!" I exclaimed, "You're getting heavier!"

My room was the only room which had a balcony, I loved it. Straight from the door is the balcony's glassed door with gradient purple ombre blackout curtains.

I walked towards the balcony glassed door and slid it open. The cool breeze hit me. Wiskey (my Huskey) jumped and ran to the balcony and started playing with the snow.

There were a couple of potted plants on my balcony that can survive in this cold weather. Beyond that, stretched snow-covered pine trees. The wooden floors were covered in snow. Wiskey was about to jump outside the balcony. I caught him real quick. Zene growled at him scolding him. He got scared. I started petting him he started to relax in my touch. I smiled and went turned to go back into my room.

I went to my bed and laid Wiskey down and went to close the balcony door. I closed the glassed door and tied the open gradient purple ombre blackout curtains. I turned to see Wiskey jumping on my bed, I smiled.

The floor in my room was carpeted with white faux fur. I walked to my bed and sat facing the grey walls and examined all the paintings I did. There were five of them hanging. Another wall had a picture framed of me and Mae from our childhood. The frame was in the shape of a cute wolf paw. It was a collage, it was small but cute. Each claw had one picture, it wasn't that small, it was visible. That wall had a table also there were framed pictures of childhood me and with my parents. Pictures with Mae were hanging. There was a picture of me and Wiskey too.

I love these people... and Wiskey.

I walked over to my study table which was right in the corner, next to my bed as well as the balcony. The table was white and was attached to the grey wall. It had a white study lamp. There were shelves attached to the table and the wall in square and rectangle shapes where I kept my books. My laptop was in one corner and my phone sat next to it. The chair was a simple white crosshatch chair. There was a calendar on the top shelf. My gaze landed on the calendar sitting on my study table. My eyes widened in shock.

"MY BIRTHDAY IS IN TWO DAYS!" I exclaimed.
