After a while, Saiki returned to the classroom and as soon as he entered, he saw several of his classmates gathered together seemingly discussing something.

Kushida was also standing in the middle of them.

"Kushida-san, are you telling the truth?"

Hirata asked with a somewhat stunned expression on his face.

"There is a surprise exam next week?"

"During the lunch earlier, I happened to overhear a few senpais discussing about this matter. They mentioned that not long after freshmen enters the school, they would be greeted by a surprise exam. It is related to our class points"

Kushida nodded very seriously as she retold everyone the information she gathered before.

'As expected of Kushida. Theoretically speaking, upperclassman should be prohibited from releasing any information to freshmen but this girl managed to make them speak without force'

Saiki muttered to himself as he slowly approached the crowd.

'Even though I already know these things, not participating would make me too conspicuous. It is better to blend with the crowd'

He blended almost silently and no one around was about to notice his presence.

[Seriously?]

[Is it necessary to conduct a surprise exam just after entering the school? Isn't the entrance exam enough?]

[The exam is related to our class points? Will it also affect our personal points? Why didn't Chabashira-sensei say anything?]

Everyone's mental activities are varied. Some are surprised while others are panicked.

Saiki turned his head and looked at the corner of the room where Horikita was sitting. She seemed to have no intention of participating in the discussion but it is obvious that she also heard the content of their conversation.

"Then everyone should study hard during this period!"

After listening to Kushida's words, Ike showed a somewhat embarrassed expression on his face.

"Isn't just an exam? It's only been a few days right? There should be no problem!"

Saiki had heard more information about the exam from other senior student's mind before. He knows that there are top level questions that even studious students might not be able to crack.

'According to the seniors, lower grade students can buy test papers from the senior. The question might be similar every year and if you can buy the previous year's paper then students should be able to pass this exam easily'

[That second year student said that it was 50,000 points however I don't think that it's worth that much points. I won't pay for it alone!]

Saiki could hear Kushida complaining in her heart.

Her idea is actually quite simple. She doesn't want her points to be affected for the sake of others. it would be best if the whole class could pay for it equally.

"I think to be on the safe side, it's better to buy a copy of the test questions. If it true that the grade is related to the points then we really need as many points as possible. Kushida-san, can you perhaps contact the senpai and ask if he could lower the price?"

"Okay! I still kept that senpai's contact information"

Kushida smiled and nodded but after saying that she looked a little embarrassed.

"I think it is not good for me to go at this alone… I am not good at haggling after all. If possible, can you let another boy come with me?"
