10 Chapter 10: Out for a stroll? Nah

Exiting the portal, what greeted me was a dark cavern surrounding with only the hanging on the walls green lights that gives illumination inside.

*Shaaaa

With azure light, an Odachi with silver blade accented by golden cloud pattern appeared on my right hand, and with a practiced movement I swung towards my left where a figure of a War Shadow appeared, and with my slash its existence dissipated in modes of light.

With a grin on my face, I started descending the floors, with azure blur appearing and disappearing towards the monsters, absorbing excelia from monsters on the way.

Falna is the ability to level up, garner exp, and grow stronger, and excelia is released by the monsters when fought, and slain. Falna is also a blessing given by the Gods, and Goddesses that they had chosen as Familia members that fights, and slay monsters in the tower of Babel. 

Looking in front of me a minotaur with a face of a bull, and a huge towering body tried to punch me, contracting my muscles I pulled the Minotaur's fist and yanked it bashing the poor monster on the ground, followed by a pop of light it disappeared.

Clenching my fists with powerful shockwaves I punched a hole on a minotaur that's trying stalk from behind. "This isn't enough, I need to vent more." With those thoughts I descended more of the floors until a scenery of stalactites, and a wide cavern greeted me.

Putting my sword on my dimensional storage for the moment, I looked at the towering giant figure slowly spawning with modes of light in front of me, "Just in time, a Black Goliath it is." With a feral grin, I readied my body to the incoming clash.

"Body Reinforcement." With only a single reinforcement spell, I waited until the Goliath is ready for the fight.

Slowly the body of the Black Goliath emerged, with the buffed naked body of a man, and a towering height of 25 feet, it looked towards the single figure in the vicinity, and focused its clouded vision towards my direction.

*RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

With a battle cry the giant ran towards me with great momentum, with air pressure, and cracked floors that it stepped on, it raised its arms with the intention of giving me a punch that most of the adventurers within the tower can't handle.

"HAHAHAHA! This is it!" Shouting in excitement I also readied my right arms, and with a crack, the floor that I was standing on shattered with the collision between a towering figure, and on the contrast of the goliath's height, a white-haired warrior that seems only a 12th of its height met its punch.

Accompanied by every blow, the surroundings are getting destroyed by the shockwaves that the two figures are producing.

"More! More! MORE!" With the adrenaline that's running through my body I twisted my body contracting every muscle on my upper body generating shockwaves, and emanating an azure aura from my body, I punched the towering figure in front of me.

*BOOOOOOOMMMMMM!

Putting almost all my raw physical power with that punch, leaving the huge cavern of stalactites with broken debris that will eventually recover.

Looking at the once mighty, strong, and towering figure now punctured with a large hole from its right chest to its right arms. I muttered to myself please with my performance, 'Well that's a lot of damage.'

Finally satisfied letting out some steam that I amassed, I summoned my Odachi, swinging it to the still trying to struggle Goliath.

*Swish

With the slash, the Black Goliaths towering figure dispersed in modes of light, leaving a large magic stone behind.

"Haah." Exhaling, and inhaling a mouthful of air, I shook of the adrenaline, and excitement from fighting a suitable opponent, readying myself to exit the tower.

"It's time to go back to the manor, it's been 3 days here for them since the last I came back." Imagining the faces of my Familia members I ascended the floors, defeating monsters, and taking their magic stones to my storage with a gentle smile.

Ascending the floors, I can finally see some adventurers venturing the dangerous tower with groups ranging from 3-6 person per groups. Noticing my presence, the groups of adventurers looked at my direction in strange gazes, but seemingly recognizing my face, a hushed murmur erupts followed by admiring gazes, and wary looks.

"Is that the Silver Flash of the Loki Familia?" Pointing at my direction an adventurer girl asked her teammates with excitement to her voice.

"Hush, stop pointing, and yes he's him." A rugged looking warrior berated his fangirling teammate seemingly annoyed.

Hearing, and watching them, I smiled towards the group specially the girl, garnering hostile looks from the men in their group.

'Hahaha, men.' Laughing derisively at them inside, I walked past their group, and continued on my ascension on the floors towards the entrance of the Babel Tower.

Taking 2 hours navigating the path on the way back, I was finally in front of the entrance of the Babel Tower.

Finally stepping foot outside the Tower, what welcomed me is a bustling, and hubbub of the adventurers coming and going to the Tower of the city of Orario, also known as the Labyrinth City Orario.

Turning towards the direction of the Loki Familia home, the Twilight Manor, I started walking, garnering the attention of the adventurers, especially those that recognized my appearance.

Disregarding the murmurs, and pointing fingers of the adventures towards my direction, putting strength to my feet upping my speed, I disappeared in a blur, leaving the bustling adventures in dust.

Appearing in front of a huge manor, I opened the gates, and was met by the nearby Familia members polite greetings, and awe filled gazes by the newer members.

Noticing someone in my peripheral vision, a speeding yellow haired girl figure ran towards my direction, with great momentum, halting my steps, readying my arms to catch the incoming figure, I opened my arms.

*Clank

With the impact, a rattling sound was produced by the collision of two armors.

Holding a figure in my chest, a long blonde haired beautiful woman with gold eyes wearing an armor breastplate looked at me with veiled excitement in her eyes, and said, "Welcome back Aki."

Looking at the emerging figures that accompanied the blonde girl, and A Goddess that's descending down the stairs of the building, I gently smiled first towards the girl between my arms, then at the coming figures, and said in a gentle voice, "I'm home."
