51 Chapter 51: Cooking Up Plans / Changes In Class

"Oh~ Ying Ye-kun, you really need to pay more attention to your mobile phone. You can contact your friends if you need something that way. I can help you out."

Kushida Kikyo approached daringly, grabbing Ying Ye Zhenshi's arm with both of her hands.

She looked carefully over Ying Ye Zhenshi, as if she were worried about his condition.

"Ying Ye…"

Eventually, Hirata, who had just arrived at class, also said his hellos and showed some concern.

It was as though he wanted to casually integrate him into the class despite his absence this past week.

But to Ying Ye, it felt like he had gained a new pair of parents.

It was a pity that Ying Ye Zhenshi could only feel sorry for these two individuals' efforts to make him feel as though a part of the group.

Because integrating with the class was not possible anymore.

And in the back row…

"This guy has finally come back. If he still looks like that, he must've been involved in something bad. He must have been beaten up."

"Yep, I'm telling you guys he offended someone he should not have, so he was beaten up, which is why he didn't come to class this past week."

Ike Kanji and his party gathered together, watching the scene with jealousy in their gazes.

Sometimes, such was the case usually with women, but people's jealousy could be a lot more than one imagined.

They had been wanting to get revenge on Ying Ye Zhenshi ever since the swimming pool incident.

But it was truly a pity that the boy in question had not even appeared since then.

Even though they wanted to attack him and whatnot, they had only been able to think about it all this while.

"Ayanokōji, do you have any more good ideas? We have to expose his true colours to everyone."

Ike Kanji looked at Ayanokouji.

The excited boy had realised that Ayanokouji seemed very sensitive to the small things and made some good observations, on top of having a bit of a brain.

So Ike decided to ask Ayanokoji for some interesting ways to get back at Ying Ye.

"Ah, it might not be right to say this in class."

Ayanokōji Kiyotaka replied with a blank expression on his face.

"Just say it quickly."

Ike Kanji said.

"Well, for example, why don't we go looking for his classmates from middle school? As long as we can get a few incriminating stories from students in his middle school, their words should be a persuasive enough mess to paint him in a bad light."

Ayanokouji Kiyotaka suggested.

"..."

Ike Kanji's eyes seemed to sparkle.

"All of you guys go ask around to the people you know and find out if anyone knows him from his old middle school."

"Is that even possible? Basically everyone we know is in the class already."

Sudou Ken looked at Ike's serious expression and added something.

Apart from the few people sitting at the back, there weren't really any such people he was familiar enough with that he could go and ask them this question.

At most, Sudou knew a few of the seniors in his club, but they were not exactly friends.

And the probability of them knowing Ying Ye Zhenshi was almost impossible.

"This..."

Ike's dreams were about to fail before they could even set off.

"Let's take advantage of the school forum. We can publish a reward or something for information. Or even post about his true colours directly on there." Haruki Yamauchi commented from the side.

The internet was such a wonderful thing, and so the idea of exposing him anonymously on the school forums was brought up.

Unless the school investigated the source of the post, it would be quite difficult to trace who had posted about Ying Ye too.

"That's not a good idea. If you talk nonsense, the school might conduct a strict investigation on it." Ayanokōji Kiyotaka advised.

He was hoping to get the guys to stop with the ridiculous idea.

"It's not like we're going to be talking nonsense. As long as we tell the truth, we'll be fine. We just have to mention the wounds on his body, and the fact that he skipped classes at the beginning of school and that he came back injured and asked for leave."

Ike Kanji obviously did not intend to let go of this opportunity.

After a few more words advising them to take heed, Ayanokōji Kiyotaka gave up his struggle.

He then returned to his seat and sighed.

"It's like this again."

"If you have something to say, just say it."

Horikita Suzune beside him heard the sigh and already knew whose antics the boy was sighing over.

"Did they do something stupid again just now?"

From time to time, Horikita Suzune would learn some information about Ike Kanji and the others doing stupid things.

There were also some other strange rumours from the class, with the source of this news of hers naturally being Ayanokōji Kiyotaka.

He was pretty much the only point of contact from which she received information about the class.

Recently though, there had been a few girls who had been staring and approaching her for no reason, like Kushida Kikyo and Karuizawa Kei.

From time to time, the latter would come over to exchange a few words, borrow her homework, ask questions and so on.

"They plan to expose that classmate of ours, Ying Ye. They keep thinking of him as some sort of delinquent, and they are intentionally trying to expose this 'face' of his to Kushida Kikyo."

After sorting out his thoughts, Ayanokōji Kiyotaka roughly explained the situation.

"Do they not have anything better to do? And haven't they noticed by now that it's always that girl who approaches the boy first and not the other way around?"

Horikita Suzune complained.

"Is that just how boys see things? I feel sorry that you have such friends. It would be better if you keep your distance from them because they're hopeless."

She 'kindly' advised her deskmate about switching up his friendship circle, making Ayanokōji Kiyotaka a little speechless at the rather blunt advice.

Then their sensei for the first class finally arrived, and he went about the lesson casually while the students continued talking and being noisy in general.

In such an environment, even the well-behaved students and high-achievers would be affected by the bustle and lose their concentration, let alone the unbothered students.

And after class ended…

Horikita Suzune remained sitting on her and started counting in her head for a few seconds.

And sure enough, a girl walked over to her desk.

"Horikita-san, I'm sorry, but can I borrow your notes again? Sensei spoke too fast in class, so I couldn't get everything down. I also have a few questions about the lesson. Can I ask you them?"

Kei Karuizawa clasped her hands together while asking for advice from Horikita pitifully.

Sensing the funny gaze coming from Kiyotaka Ayanokoji beside her, Horikita Suzune's expression turned cold.

But she still agreed to help.

"Remember to return them to me after copying them."

Not only had she lent out her notebook, but she also helped to explain the parts of the lesson Kei was most confused about.

But soon, Karuizawa seemed even more confused than when she had first walked over.

Horikita Suzune was getting really annoyed at the girl's ignorance.

The atmosphere around them was very strange.

"How odd."

This scene was completely caught by Ying Ye Zhenshi for the first time since he had only just come back to school.

He also noticed that Kikyo Kushida, who was sitting beside him, was looking over at the scene, and the look in her eyes appeared a little unfriendly.

After noticing Ying Ye Zhenshi looking at her though, she moved her chair backwards and stood up to approach him.

The scent of the girl struck his nasal receptors first, and her cutesy tone was no different from usual.
