Chapter 57: An Encounter During the Morning Run!
"By the way, Yuto, could you give me your dormitory room card? I plan to go back there and bring over the blanket," Sakura Airi said to Yuto.
"No need, it's troublesome to carry it back and forth. And aren't you worried, Airi, about being questioned while holding the blanket? I'll just buy a new one while I'm at the mall."
Airi thought for a moment and realized that walking around with two blankets would indeed attract unnecessary attention.

In the early morning hours, Yuto got up early, after washing and getting dressed, and left room 402 wearing sportswear and sneakers, taking his school phone with him.
He had always had the habit of jogging in the morning and planned to continue doing this to keep fit and exercise even after entering this school.
For the sake of exercise, Yuto decided not to take the elevator but to jog down the stairs instead.
Unexpectedly, he met a familiar girl coming down from the upper floors.
The girl was like a cool arctic fox, with captivating yet cold eyes.
Her slender body was dressed in sportswear, outlining her slim waist. Her legs were straight and slender.
Her black hair was tied in a simple ponytail, suitable for exercise.
Horikita Suzune, coming down the stairs just like him, slightly raised her eyebrows, her fox-like eyes showing a hint of surprise.
She did not expect to encounter him here, and from his current attire, it seemed he was also planning to go for a morning jog.

Yuto and the black-haired girl walked down the stairs one after the other, then both headed toward the school's sports ground not far from the student dormitory together.
Kushida Kikyou, watching from the dormitory corridor, looked down and noticed Shimizu Yuto and Horikita Suzune acting together.
"They seem... pretty familiar with each other?"
Yuto, whose senses were very sharp, felt a gaze from above while walking.
He turned his head and saw Kushida's figure above.
When Kushida noticed Yuto looking over, she energetically waved her arm, seemingly greeting him.
Horikita Suzune glanced at him, who had stopped, following his gaze to see the cheerful girl with beige-colored hair.
"Are you two close?" Horikita Suzune asked instinctively.
"Kushida and me? Actually, we're not that close. We've just seen each other in class and around the dorm a couple of times," Yuto replied.
"Is that so?"
"Yeah, Kushida seems to want to make friends with everyone. She asked for my contact information in the dormitory, and she must have approached you for this purpose too, right?"
"Yes, but I refused," The black-haired girl answered indifferently.
Yuto looked sideways at her and smiled, "Why's that?"
"Because I don't intend to make friends in the first place," She replied without any hesitation.
Yuto showed a surprised expression.
Although he could tell from her aloof demeanor that she was not easy to get along with, he did not expect her to be this opposed to making friends.
"It'll be tough going through three years of high school without making a single friend."
"I don't care. I was alone all through junior high as well. So, it's nothing special!"
So she's used to being alone, Yuto thought, impressed by her lonely character.
Horikita Suzune seemed not to want to continue their conversation and quickened her pace.
Yuto watched as the black-haired girl started to run, seeing the shadow of his former self in her.
The same aloofness and the same arrogance.
But, oh well... the life of solitude is indeed great!
Since it was only 7:10, the sports teams that usually practiced in the morning had not yet arrived at the school field, so there weren't many students here, only about five or six.
Horikita Suzune, a rare beauty, started her morning jogging.
Her slender waist, straight legs, and fair neck quickly attracted the male students' attention.
Some boys with ulterior motives began running in front of her, trying to catch her attention.
