6 Welcome to ANHS

"Lady Arisu, we're ready to depart."

"Akihito, how many times must I remind you? Just Arisu, please. No need for formalities; we're friends, after all."

Contemplating whether to comply, Akihito responded, "Alright, I'll call you just Arisu."

Happy with the response she got she got ready to depart for their school.

Akihito POV

As we strolled through the school's bustling corridors, I observed how students was getting acquainted with each other, marking the start of their academic life. The rhythmic tap of our shoes echoed against the linoleum floors as Arisu and I navigated through the halls, heading to our assigned class.

Upon entering, we were greeted by other students who were also assigned to Class A.

Exchanging smiles, Arisu and I proceeded to our chosen seats, greeting our neighbors next to us.

Her name was Masumi Kamuro, with thigh-length purple hair tied in a long ponytail on the right side, along with bangs to the right side and purple eyes.

The one next to her was Ryo Nakamura, displaying an athletic build with short brown hair, but he seemed like a muscle head. (oc character)

As we continued to chat, the classroom door opened, and the Class A teacher entered, signaling us to quiet down. We turned our attention to the front, Waiting for his introduction.

"Good morning, Class A! I'm your homeroom teacher, Mr. Tomonari Mashima. I'm English teacher and the homeroom teacher of Class 1-A. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to approach me anytime."

"First and foremost, welcome to Advanced Nurturing High School, the prestigious institution that prides itself on fostering the best and brightest minds.

Now, before we dive into the curriculum, let me provide you with some essential information.

Each of you will be receiving a unique school-issued phone, which will serve as your identification, schedule manager, and a gateway to various school services. It's a handy device that will help you navigate through your academic life here at Advanced Nurturing High School. Please make sure to keep it with you at all times.

Additionally, you've all been credited with an initial 100,000 points. These points are a currency within the school that you can use to access special privileges in this school that you can almost buy anything with.

Use these points wisely and strive to earn more through your academic achievements and contributions to the school community.

If you have any questions about the school or your classes feel free to ask."

I couldn't help but feel a sense of suspicion, as Mr. Tomonari Mashima outlined the school's points system.

"Strive to earn more through your academic achievements and contributions to the school community," echoed in my mind. He carefully worded the statement that he made almost like he was hinting towards something.

I couldn't resist raising his hand to ask a question. "Excuse me, Mr. Mashima. You mentioned that we've been credited with 100,000 points. Does that mean we'll get another 100,000 points next month, or is it a one-time allocation?"

When I asked the question, Mr. Mashima almost seemed pleased, as if he were anticipating someone to inquire about it.

"I appreciate your curiosity however, the exact details regarding future point distributions are confidential and I can't answer that."

"Fine, let's put it this way. How many points would it take for you to answer my question Mr. Mashima?"

Mr. Mashima smiled, "While points can indeed buy various privileges, the knowledge you seek is about the school's inner workings.

However, if you're keen on unraveling the mystery, I can offer you a unique opportunity. To learn about the system that governs this school, it will cost you 2 million points. No negotiations."

After Mr. Mashima explained this, I looked at Arisu, who understood what I wanted to convey, and she rose from her seat, walking to the podium with the help of her cane.

"May I have your attention, everyone?" Arisu's voice, despite its gentle tone, carried a conviction that demanded acknowledgment.

"I'm Arisu Sakayanagi, and I propose that we accept Mr. Mashima's offer. The information he provides could be crucial, giving us a substantial advantage. It's undeniable that this institution is is suspicion, and the lack of transparency regarding our monthly points allocation leaves us vulnerable. What are your thoughts on this matter?"

With the unanimous agreement of the class, each student contributed their share of 50,000 points. As the points were pooled together, a collective sense of curiosity and anticipation filled the room.

Once the points were gathered, Arisu transferred them to Mr. Mashima and then returned to her seat with a satisfied expression on her face. The transaction complete, Mr. Mashima nodded in acknowledgment.

"Very well, students. You've made a wise choice," he remarked "Now, with this access, you'll have the rights to know about the school system."

Mr. Mashima proceeded to enlighten us about the System, and a couple of key points caught my attention.

First and foremost, failure in any exam resulted in expulsion from the school—an eye-opener to the severity of academic standards.

Another crucial piece of information was the Class Points, the source of our private points. These were distributed evenly among students within each class, with variations based on the class's overall performance.

Essentially, it meant that our behavior and contributions directly influenced our points, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a positive class environment and actively participating in our studies.

The most shocking revelation came when Mr. Mashima disclosed that the guaranteed job placement or college entry support after graduation applied exclusively to Class A.

While this revelation was startling, what intrigued me even more was the classification system. Classes A, B, C, and D were divided, with Class D seemingly designated for students considered as "defective products," while the promising ones were directed to Class A.

"That's all I can disclose. Don't forget to attend the club fair at 16:30 today. Now that we've concluded, class is dismissed." Mr. Mashima dismissed the class and left us alone to discuss what we should do net.
