After 6 months of break, I decided to write this fanfic further. I'm not sure how many people will be reading this, but well, I wanted to, regardless of writing another review, expressing my thoughts. I'll be focusing slightly more on the romance now, since I'm a huge Hiyori simp, and I like her. So the latter chapters that I'm writing now, in other words, Volume 3, will be like that. There are also mind-games or feats of intelligence displayed by him, but without reading it further, you won't see them. Kurushima does a couple of special things in the Inhabited Island Exam and the Zodiac Exam, but for that, you'll have to read it from the beginning. With special, I also mean, special. Anyhow, I like mind-games, so there'll be a focus on that, the romance, the dynamics between the characters, and Kurushima's goal, revenge. I'm writing this fanfic since I'm pretty interested in it, after all. But I also want to ship Hiyori and write chapters of her and Kurushima, so there's my other essential reason. If you're a Hiyori Simp like me, well, you're lucky, I guess. I'll also be doing AI Arts now, more or less, of her. For the future chapters, that is, since the early ones, are published already. a story that should very much receive a lot more comments. Literally on the webnovel it is the only COTE fanfic with Oc active at the moment. Besides being the only one active it is insanely well written. and pair is hiyori, the angel and one of the best girls in the serie, what more could you ask for?
Perhaps I should have done a small note beforehand I had written this fic to inform the readers what to expect. Well, my bad, but I'll be doing them now. Read with care because these aspects mentioned here will be spoilers. However, they will also be explaining everything in a more concise manner about the fic. Firstly, the theme of this novel is revenge and will be resolving about revenge, what's right and wrong, when is something justified, and so on, that you'll be able to figure out with reading the fanfic further. Secondly, in this fanfic, there will be some aspects of the political regime about classroom of the elite mentioned, and will also be a major factor in the fic. Thirdly, unlike many other classroom of the elite fanfic's, the MC won't care whether to advance up to Class A or staying in Class D, as long as his revenge is secured. If a higher class position aids the help with his revenge, then he'll aim for Class A. All that is under the premise that being in a higher class would also simultaneously raise his influence and popularity, which is useful for his singular goal of revenge. Fourth, Kurushima is a person with highly manipulative abilities, using whenever an opportunity of a situation arrives the chance of manipulating other people so that they'll do what he wants. Fifth, for people who have read the first few chapters, you'll recognize that Kurushima’s attitude towards the girls is rather submissive, not defending himself when they want to go with him shopping, and so on. As I mentioned it a bit already above, the main theme of this novel is revenge, and Kurushima’s only goal of visiting the school is because of his desire for revenge, wanting to figure out the culprit of his families death, visiting out of that solemn reason the school since a clue has lead him here about a person who might be associated with the death of his family. Sixth, whenever there will be something seen about his past, I'll be writing in the headlines 'Flashback Chapter' so just to clarify that here. Seventh, the romance interest of this fic will be Hiyori, and it'll be non-harem. Eight, I'll be using some literary devices, such as symbolism, metaphors, a foil per example, and more. There'll be also foreshadowing, too, in some specific chapters. Nine, perhaps this is something that will be making people more hyped, but Ayanokoji will be the Deuteragonist and Antagonist in this fanfic. Tenth, many chapters require to read the chapters after that chapter, too, for understanding the priory chapters. Per example, you won't understand Chapter 5: ...or not, Chapter 7: Plan set in motion, without reading Chapter 8: Plan, of how he was able to expel three people, gaining their Private Points, and using that situation to his advantage. Also, I might be rewriting Chapter 5: ...or not, in the near future, since it wasn’t really according to my taste, if I had to describe it. But those are for now the things I wanted to say. If you have any questions, such as about the strategy used in Chapter 8: Plan, or anything else regarding the fic, or about Kurushima himself, I'll try my best to answer them if they are questions I can answer, without spoiling what will happen in the future. Well, the fanfic is quite ok, but the MC himself is quite strangely made, as if he has been prepared for revenge since childhood, but the author explains that he won't do anything very radical because that's how he was brought up and in fact, he is not even aware that he is really good, and it will continue. until someone "close" to him betrays him and goes crazy in the next parts and turns into a "monster" as he likes to call himself, well I don't like it that much.
well i finally decided to give review cuz even though i already liked this fic from beginning recent chapters are getting better and better i love MC's character and fact that he is showing his abilities but is also making sure people like ayanokoji underestimate him and doesn't know his full abilities.
If you're hesitating to read this fanfic, don't hesitate, dive in and read it because you won't regret a thing. This is one of the best COTE fanfics you'll come across, personally, it's the best and my favorite. With each chapter, the story gets better, leaving you eager to read more and more, eagerly awaiting each upcoming chapter. All the characters are very well portrayed, unlike other fanfics, the secondary characters aren't made extremely stupid or hateful to make Kurushima (MC) stand out. It doesn't have a harem, which is something to appreciate, it's becoming rarer to find stories centered on a single couple, in this case, Hiyori (Thank you for that, i love Hiyori), one of the best girls in COTE. Personally, I really like the fact that unlike other fanfics where the protagonist is OP and has an easy life, here it's shown that although Kurushima is certainly OP too, his life is not and will not be easy, and he will face many difficulties. I encourage the author to keep writing this great fanfic because I love what they're doing with it, and I hope to someday see this story completed. This has become one of my favourite fanfics. The writing quality is really good and I really like the mc's character design! The story isn't going too fast or too slow, so it's perfect for me. I also like how the mc is focused on one girl instead of having a harem. Anyway, please keep up the good work!
