Chapter 1: World Awakening

The screen lights up and we see billions of people looking up in the sky with an expression of dread. The screen moves up to see a bluish light. Soon after the screen zooms out and we can see the planet getting devoured by the light.

In just seconds it disappears and the eyes of half of the human population are glowing with all sorts of colors some are dimmer than others and some are just flickering with blinding light.

The thing you just experienced is the World Awakening, a moment in which humans unlock their hidden genes and unlock superpowers. Some are stronger than others of course and some are weaker.

The Blue Planet called Earth by its inhabitants just underwent a massive change. This planet will never be the same.

After the light dimmed down people on Earth were confused and scared, some thought aliens attacked them, and others haven't gotten out of the shock they experienced.

The next day screen zooms in on a school in COEG(Continent of Eastern Globe). Every student is talking about the weird light that illuminated them. We go through students as they talk, we are passing rooms and we end in front of a room with the number 10-D. We pass through the door and we see 27 students discussing the light and then we hear footsteps behind us.

Then the person walks in front of the class. Every student of 10-D quiets down and the person starts to speak up.

''Hello class'' said the person as we zoom in to see a woman

After that, a student at the first desk speaks up''Hello teacher''

We zoom to the person's face and the screen pauses as we see a text

[''Number 1: Adrian Davis'' (Likes Table Tennis, chess, and studying)]

The screen resumes and just a moment after another student speaks up

''Teacher what do you think the light from yesterday was''we pause on his face

[''Number 26: Veselin Dempsey'' (Likes studying and reading)]

We resume and zoom to a student mumbling to himself

''It was like from a movie''

[''Number 23: Teodor Griffin'' (Likes movies, animation and hates studying)]

We skip to the teacher starting to speak

''Well it's a mystery, it was all over the news the moment it happened'' said the teacher to the class

''Don't worry I think it's going to go away after some time. Anyhow let us start today's lesson'' said the teacher as she started her lesson

After the bell rang all the students got their backpacks and rushed out

We zoom to the already introduced student of 10-D Adrian Davis, as he was running like a madman trying to catch the bus that he needed to get home with home. He was almost at the bus station, but before he got there he saw the bus opening its doors and people getting in

-Shitttt- he thought as he was running as fast as he can. The bus driver saw him and smirked. The driver closed the doors just as Adrian got there and set off.

-WHY, now I have to wait another half an hour- screamed Adrian in his heart

-Whatever I will just go to the training ground near the school and do some exercise-

Adrian walked for 3 minutes until he got there. After he got there he threw his backpack on the ground and stretched before starting to do pull-ups. As he was doing pull-ups, his body emitted a bluish hue. His arms suddenly stiffened and he dropped to the ground. Feeling pain all over his body he wanted to scream, but his voice wouldn't come out.

After 5 minutes of struggling the pain went away and he weakly stood up, leaning on a pole he stumbled to sit on a bench. He finally sat down and breathed heavily.

''What was that'' he wondered out loud

As he got his phone out to play a game of chess, the screen on his phone was on the news section because he was looking at the news about the strange phenomenon that happened yesterday. All king of exclamation marks, red text with big font, and weird pictures of people doing crazy things a human could never do.

''What'' he wondered and started to click on the links to see what it was all about

As he was going through them he saw unexplainable things like people breathing out small flames from their mouths or extending their nails. He was baffled. Just as he was thinking of how those things were possible he came by a post that stated{IS THIS THE DOING OF THE LIGHT FROM YESTERDAY}. When he read it he knew it could be the reason for the strange things happening.

When he thought about the pain from moments ago he wondered if it had something to do with these strange powers. But then he also wondered if he had one of these powers how could he find out. He then stood up and tried to do a push-up. After he did the push-up, strength surged through him and greyish words with blue outlines appeared in front of him. The words were:

He was surprised and jumped back a little, but quickly composed himself and looked at the words intensely.

-WHAT IN THE WORLD- he screamed in his mind as he was reading over the words nonstop

Our view shifts to that of the front face of Adrian to see glowing blue eyes with grey outlines and a blue hue around his body. After he stopped reading the words on the screen he sees his hands that are emitting a blue hue and tries to shake it off, but it doesn't work. After he sees that it doesn't work he stops and looks at his hands and thinks of his new powers.

-Wait Limit Overload- as he had that thought he started doing squats

After he did 10 he didn't feel anything, after he did 20 he didn't feel anything, just as he was about to stop because he will miss the bus again if he continues. But after he did 25 he started to feel the pain again, he was thinking of stopping, but his mind didn't let him. As he continued to do squats his strength was increasing at an unbelievable speed, the pain slowly going away and the blue hue was getting brighter and brighter.

After he did 25 more he stopped and stood in one place. On his face could be seen shock of his newly attained power and strength. After standing in one place for a minute like an idiot he looked at his phone and saw the bus is going to be at the bus station any minute now.

He grabbed his backpack and started to run as fast as he can, but to his surprise, he got there in 30 seconds. Before at his fastest speed, it would have taken him at least 1 minute and 30 seconds, but now it was different. It was one-third of what it was before. As he was standing there in shock once more, the bus stopped and woke Adrian from his shock. He hurriedly got on the bus and went home.

When got home the first thing he did was his homework for tomorrow, then ate dinner and got ready to sleep, but he couldn't fall asleep because of the things he experienced today.

He looked at his arm but didn't see any blue hue it was just a normal arm. He was thinking of a way to bring back the words that were floating in front of him, then he remembered that they appeared after he did a squat. He got up and did a push-up, to his amazement they did appear.

As he was looking over the words he found out that there is a thing that wasn't there before and it was locked so it meant he had to unlock it somehow.

-Ugh I can't think about this, I need to sleep- he thought as he laid down on his bed.

The scene stops and the screen blackens, but in the next moment it jumps to another student of 8-D

''Tomorrow is going to be interesting'' he said, we can also see golden words in front of him

*Pause*

Overnight all kinds of weird superpowers started to awaken some weak, some strong. The crime rate that night jumped to an unseen level, the officials were baffled and sent all kinds of guards, police, and special forces to solve those crimes.

Waking up people were horrified to find their close ones doing crazy for example some were lighting their fingers on fire and waving it like a torch. You couldn't find anything else on the TV and news except the crime rate and the superpower awakenings.

Adrian woke up because his alarm was ringing, opening his eyes lazily he looked at the time and almost screamed out. Jumping out of bed he packed his textbooks and notebooks in his backpack and rushed out for school.

-I am going to be late, shitttttt- getting at the bus station just in time

We skip to when all the students of 10-D are in the classroom.

Adrian has just sat down on his desk next to his deskmate.

''How come you are late today, you have never been late to school'' asked his deskmate

*pause*

[Number 2: Andrey Warner (Likes table tennis and chess)]

The screen continues for us to see Adrian speak up

''I had something happen yesterday'' answered Adrian and got out his textbooks and notebooks

''What was it'' asked Andrey another question

-What am I supposed to say- Adrian struggled to find the right words to describe what happened yesterday but was unable to. To Adrian's luck, their class teacher walked into the room.

The teacher walked in front of the class and began to talk

''Today we will be discussing the things that happened yesterday'' she said

''First, has anyone felt something weird happening. For example, if feeling pain even if it wasn't much'' asked the teacher

-What should I do, should I say or shouldn't I. And an even better question has anyone else awakened- thought, Adrian

-WHAT THE HELL, why is there so much luck in this room. Since I awakened yesterday I could feel luck around me and I am terrified by the luck in this room- said Griffin in his mind as he was looking at everyone from the class. But when he got to Adrian he noticed something unordinary.

-His luck is not as much as the others. What is going on, I will ask him after classes- thought Griffin

At that exact moment, someone stood up from his seat and spoke up

''Teacher you are asking if someone has awakened, right'' asked the student

*pause*

[Number 11: Eugene Muray (Likes talking and meeting people)]

*resume*

''That is right Eugene. Have you awakened?'' said the teacher

''No, but if someone has awakened he or she would tell us'' answered Eugene

-Would I, really- both Adrian and Griffin asked in their minds

''That is true Eugene, tell us even if it is something weak, we wouldn't say anything'' said the teacher to the whole class

-Weak? You are weak- both Adrian and Griffin said to themselves again

''Good, it seems that no one has awakened if it's like this then let us start today's lesson'' said the teacher as she started writing on the whiteboard.

After classes, we can see Adrian going to the training grounds to try his new powers, but without him knowing someone else was going there with him.

When Adrian arrived at the training grounds he threw his backpack on the ground and stretched, because of the warm-up the hue surrounded his body. When he started doing push-ups the hue started glowing brighter. Unbeknownst to him, the person who was following him was ecstatic.

''You have awakened'' asked the person, startling Adrian

Turning around Adrian saw Teodor Griffin.

''Ohh it is you'' sighed Adrian

''Yes I have awakened, please don't tell anyone in the class'' said Adrain to Griffin

Griffin threw his backpack on the ground and stepped closer to Adrian. Then touching him with one finger. After 3 seconds he began to emit a golden hue.

''You have awakened as well'' asked Adrian in a surprised voice

''Yes I have, my Superpower is called Luck Balance I can give or take luck, but I need to touch them first. What is yours?'' said Griffin

''Mine is called Limit Overload(Strength Path) with it I can constantly get stronger as long as I train my physical body'' answered Adrian

Griffin sat down on one of the benches and said ''I don't know what to think of this situation, people gaining superpowers. It's just bizarre to me''

''I know I was baffled when I got these powers, it was weird. Have you discovered anything about these powers'' asked Adrian when he sat next to Griffin

''When I got to class I did find something weird'' answered Griffin

''When I was walking through the streets. I saw that everyone has different luck values some low, some medium, but when I got into our classroom it was filled with luck. I almost blacked out, it was weird'' added Griffin

''That is weird indeed'' said Adrian and took his phone out of his pocket

''Ohh shit, I have to go. See you tomorrow'' said Adrian while putting his backpack on his back his and then rushing to the bus station

Griffin was staring at the disappearing back of Adrian.

''My guess was correct'' Griffin muttered as he put on his backpack and headed in the other direction.
