Silent Valley

Julian, Amber, and Bruno kept walking further and further into the valley, but there was no sign of anything. It has been six hours since they left the area they were before. Amber panted heavily and begging Julian to stop, but Julian kept walking without looking back. Finally, they reached a gorge. Amber walked next to Julian and peeked down the gorge "ah…this looks deep…" Bruno kept his fingertips near his lips "hm?…Young Mistress is right…we should walk around the gorge…"

Julian's eyes shifted right to left as he spotted an old crooked bridge.

"there," he started to walk towards the bridge. Amber sighed and dragged herself towards the bridge. Bruno looked at it "this bridge looks dangerous…we should find another path, Young Master?" Julian shook his head. "no need, we will get to the other side using this" Bruno and Amber looked at each other with worried looks. They knew if they keep rejecting the offer or stop Julian he would drag himself and everyone else with him no matter who was against it. Bruno places his hand on Julian's shoulder.

"Young master, let me go first" Julian took his foot back as Bruno walked ahead, making sure if the bridge was safe. He finally jumped to the other side and waved his hand "It's safe to cross!" he started to yell to the other side. Julian walked next with Amber behind him as the bridge started to shake. Amber and Julian tried to keep their balance, but the old ropes start to snap, but luckily Julian was halfway through when the rope broke. He quickly grabs onto the other side of the cliff edge as Bruno started to panic. Amber starts to scream as Julian uses his quick reflexes and grab Amber's arm using his other hand. He let out a groan because Amber's weight started to pull him down. Bruno quickly grabbed his book and read his mana book, "heavenly vines fall before created a protection to save, what should be protected" he started to chant. Vines start to appear from below as they tied up together and created a massive net underneath Julian and Amber, Julian looks down at the net as he let go of the cliff. They both fell onto the vine net. Bruno leaned down and sighed in relief as he yelled again "are you two okay?" Amber looked up at Bruno and yelled back "Yes! Good thinking!" Bruno smiled at them.

Both Julian and Amber climbed the cliff and flopped on the grassy ground Amber blinked for a bit when she felt the grass brushing against her body as she yelped and got up and looked in front of herself. She saw a forest in front "it's a forest!" she yelled in excitement. Julian took his map and goes through the places that were drawn in it, as he looked around and walked next to Amber "this is a forest of a silent beast…" Amber looked at Julian in confusion "silent of what?" Bruno walked to the other side of Amber "that's another shadow creature that was created by the darkness if we want to go to the Wellakar kingdom" Amber looked at the dark and gloomy forest as she shook her head "nope!" she turned around started to walk away "I want to home!" Julian grabbed Amber's collar and dragging her into the forest as Amber starts to whine, "no!! Let me go" Bruno looked at them both as he starts to chuckle and walked behind Julian and Amber.

They continued to walk through the logs that placed in every step, stepping on muddy puddles along the way, grabbing onto dark tall shady old trees to keep them in balance, they came across massive trees tangled together as they started to climb onto them. Bruno reached his hand to help out Amber. Julian leaned against the wooden wall and peeked out. He slowly pulled out his sword as he watched some lizard-like creature who behaved like humans and wearing amours patrolling the area down below.

Julian placed his index finger near his lips as he looked at both Bruno and Amber, telling them to keep quiet. Amber covered her mouth and leaned back, and started to tremble in fear when she saw the oddly looking creatures. Bruno took one of Amber's hands tried to keep her calm. Amber held Bruno's hand tightly and wouldn't stop trembling. She felt something cold dripping onto her shoulder. She lifted her chin as she saw a lizard creature leaning down with its mouth open wide, sticking its tongue covered in saliva.

She muffled in fear as she shook Bruno, Bruno looked at Amber then at the creature as he yelled. "Julian!" Julian turned around and other creatures heard this loud noise and rushed towards it.

The creature jumped next to Amber with its sword pointing towards her, Julian looked down, and because the path was narrowed, Julian and Bruno couldn't switch. The lizard lifted his sword and tried to attack Amber but, Bruno blocked the attack using his book before Julian grabs Amber's she quickly slides pass Bruno, she felt Julian grabbing her arm afterward as he pulled her closer but when her feet suddenly slipped making her fall off the small narrow path as she started yelling while reaching her hand to Julian, Julian gasped and watched Amber fall in horror.

Suddenly another creature came out from the darkness, grabbing Amber and disappearing back into the darkness Julian, gritted his teeth in anger, Bruno closed his eyes and started to chant again, "deep beneath the earth dark vines hear my voice and kill, that's evil!" dark purple vine appeared behind the creature and, pierce through its chest and killing it. Bruno sighed and looked at Julian as his eyes widened, eyes start to fill with fear. Bruno started to look around, "master…?where is Miss Amber?" he asked in confusion. Julian jumped down, landing on another branch, Bruno followed him from behind "m-master" Julian's eyes filled with revenge and anger "We are going to find that cheap woman!" he kept jumping to nearby branches getting himself back on to the mud-filled dirty water.

Bruno jumped next to Julian "do you have any idea where can they be?" Julian closed his eyes suddenly a bright light shined on to his face, he blinked a few times as the bright light turn into a small figure, Lily appeared through the bright light, she smiled but that smile faded away, she sides her head with a pout when she saw Julian's angry face "what's wrong master Julian?" she started to look around "master…Julian…where is miss Amber?" Julian looked away from Lily "she was taken away" Lily's eyes widen up "d-don't tell me lord Bulruk took her…" Julian looked at Lilly with confusion "Lord Bulruk?" Lily let out a deep breath.

"Lord is the protector of this forest. And his favorite meal is humans, because this forest barely met with any humans, he barely got his slimy claws on them, but when a human pass by they won't let them out alive…" Julian clenched his fits and gritted his teeth "where is he?" Bruno gave Lily a serious face.

Lily flew back waving her hands, "Y-you can't fight lord Bulruk…that's a death wish!" before Julian was going to say anything, Bruno suddenly snapped, "I don���t care! I want to save miss Amber!" both Julian and Lily looked at Bruno, Bruno looked at Julian with eyes filled with fear, "please young master!" Julian clenched his jawline, "speak!" he glared at Lily, Lily startled a bit, "w-well his domain…is in an underground cave" Julian nodded, "take us there" Lily gave him a slight nod, "follow me…" Lily flew ahead with Julian and Bruno behind her.

Bulruk was sitting on his throne as his guards brought Amber towards him, Amber looked up at Bulruk with fear, Bulruk approached her, she looked away from Bulruk, he grabbed Amber's jaw making her look at him, "what a pretty face we got here" Amber gritted her teeth staying quite

Julian kept walking "Amber," he said in his mind, Bruno "Amber wait for me," said it in his mind, Amber looked at Bulruk "Julian…please save me," said in her mind.
