Chapter 11: A Funeral

A group of Seven figures stood around A black and white coffin, that stood out in the pine woods.

The coffin contained a man with half long half short dark hair, his eyes closed, yet still breathing, his black and white suit matching the coffin.

"This marks the final minute, of two men, reaching death. They lived a year, as was promised by his creator, and will now lay dormant, for he shall not wake.Memories last only as long as you let them, Memento Mori,"A black Suited man with blue and red odd eyes spoke staring into space.

"Their death will be known worldwide, and many will mourn this loss, but as they knew, they denied their passing, but alas we cannot stop the inevitable, Memento Mori," spoke a Hooded Woman.

"Time, as sad or hurtful as it's may seem, doesn't last, it passes with the rising and setting of the sun, and you never know how much is left, until it's gone, Memento Mori," A young girl spoke, her chains making the sound of an eerie chime behind her.

"Death isn't just an end of a time, but a potential new beginning of another, nothing is entirely gone unless we forget, Memento Mori," a young man spoke holding a scythe.

"There's never a definite way of knowing when or how death finds us, it will always catch us, the only thing it can't catch is a legacy, Memento Mori," stated a man with green hair and a cut on his neck.

"Without a past or a present, there is no future, with no past comes no future, and with no future ends a life in the present, Memento Mori," a skeleton in a black suit spoke.

"This marks the death, of a channel, two men, and a year, that many say had come and gone too fast. Alas time, has run out,"

The man who spoke wore a yellow suit and approaches the coffin, and places a device on each of the dead mans arms. "Memento Mori" he whispers as he closes the coffin lid. The others had placed items On the coffin, now there was an hourglass, two letters, two boxes of flowers, a Platinum Crest and a single blue envelope.

"We must now leave them to rest," a black Suited man says, turning around followed by the green haired man and the girl in chains.

Everyone but two left the coffin. One was a young man who was crouched with a scythe staring at the coffin waiting for a spirit to appear but the yellow Suited man that stood behind him.

"What did you put on his arm Fate?" The young man asked.

"There's two men in that coffin Darrel," Fate states blandly staring at the coffin.

"Right, my apologies... what did you give them and why did you put it on their arms?" Darrel asked

The other man simply turned around before replying; "You will know soon enough..."

The sand runs out in the glass as a bell tolls in the distance.

The young man stood up and left, looking back many times for two spirits that would never appear .

The coffin lay dormant and the man lay dead and will stay still forever more.

The hourglass, a symbol of what all face, a race against time, endlessly moving towards the cliff of death.

The letters that were never sent, were warnings and pleads to keep it alive.

The flowers were fans who had gained memories that would never fade.

The crest a symbol of recognition and acceptance of what was to come.

The blue envelope, an invitation to live again, an invitation to never be accepted.

And the Hydra's a sign of a Legend, and Legends never die, they become a part of us.
