Chapter 75: Pre-Game Jitters

The Gym, Ridgecrest High School, Fallon Creek, Michigan...

The seats were packed as many parents and family members filed in with a sheer aspect of anticipation hanging high in the air. Coach Bert had quite the smile on his face despite it being well known that his team, The Fallon Creek Wolverines, always lost every game they played in the wake of losing star player Alarick Michael Channon when he'd been sidelined due to being shot nearly to death right along with the rest of his family. The Wolverines were set to take on The Trenton County Hawks. Fallon Creek's boys had been dressed in the blue, white, and black school colors and Trenton County's boys were dressed in red and white. The Wolverines were home colors with dark blue jerseys with white trim and black lettering while The Hawks were white jerseys with red trim and red lettering.

All seemed to be gearing up for the upcoming season and Coach Bert had never been more pleased mostly due to the face that the cheerleaders had been on the court, which included Rachel Dawson and her ilk and he had a monumentous announcement to make about his star players.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, I want to thank you for the turnout, I know it hasn't been easy with all the known losses but this season I promise you we are gonna turn things around and it's all thanks to our two new starters, Alarick Michael Channon and Casey Allen Peterson."

Upon hearing that Rick was back to play for the team The Wolverines and the fans had been ecstatic to finally get to enjoy a good game again instead of dreading another horrible blowout just to support their sons. Dee Clark had been in attendance as well as Helen Peterson who had sat next to each other as they watched their respective boys get ready to play.

"Fancy meeting you here." said Dee with a proud smile. "I can't believe it's been so long since I've seen this gym."

"This is my first time seeing it." replied Helen with a smile of her own. "I've never been to a sports game before if you can believe that, my son wasn't that interested in sports before moving here."

"Rick's doing I take it?" asked Dee with a smirk. "I suppsoe your Casey is the reason he elected to get back on the court in the first place, he hasn't breathed a word about basketball since his parents died."

Helen noted how tragic that sounded as she recalled Rick's abrasive nature and apparent dependance on Casey and vice versa.

RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

The Boys Locker Room, Ridgecrest High School, Fallon Creek, Michigan...

Rick had been doing his best to quell his bout of anxiety as he watched Casey attempt to get ahold of himself due to being nervous about his first ever game. Rick stood with his arms folded across his jersey covered chest and leaned against the side of the lockers where Casey sat putting on his Wolverines' uniform and tying his sneakers. He had not been much for sports before coming to Fallon Creek despite his good measure of practice thanks in large part to Rick being obsessed with getting him game ready.

"What's up with you?" asked Rick glaring at him from the lockers.

"Nothing," replied Casey slowly tying his shoes. "I guess I'm just nervous, this is my first real game and all that."

"You've got nothin' to worry about." replied Rick with a wicked smirk. "Besides, once the game is over the after party begins."

"After party?" asked Casey with an arched brow.

"Indeed." replied Rick in his susal snide fashion. "But I ain't tellin' you nothin' about it, if you wanna know what happens I guess you'll have to get us a win on the court, losers aren't invited."

Casey rolled his eyes.

"Asshole." he muttered in annoyance at his boyfriend's blatant teasing.

"Bitch." countered Rick glaring at the younger lad as he finished getting ready for their game.

"Dick." countered Casey getting to his feet as his uniform hung lazily off his lean and well-toned body.

"Pussy." replied Rick with a flocker of heat behind his eyes he started moving toward the younger teen as their heated eyes locked onto one another for a few moments before the older brooding teen loomed in Casey's ear. "I'm gonna fuck you so hard when this game is over, gonna make you scream for Daddy's Big Dick."

Casey bit his bottom lip like so many times before reflecting his state of arousal briefly before pushing it out of his mind to focus on the game. He apparently had a new reason to get the win and hit the showers once the funfair had died down, well that and the so called after party that was to take place once the game had been over.

The two of them ventured toward the center of the locker room with the rest of the guys not even bothering to acknowledge Carl's glare at them as they took their places amid the team to go over Coach Bert's game plan to come out with a win for the first time in a long time.

HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

The Bleachers, The Gym, Ridgecrest High School, Fallon Creek, Michigan...

The atmosphere of the school had been something else as Helen watched the away team shuffle along the court as the fans began to get involved. She noted the cheerleaders, particularly the ones up front who had been Rachel Dawson, who had her eye on Rick Channon the moment he came out of the locker room with his team. She watched as Rachel blew Rick a kiss and he ignored it in favor of doing his warm up drills. Casey had been on the court as well and didn't seem to mind Rachel coming on to his boyfriend as another girl had apparently been interested in him, Courtney Cox, who seemed determined to get Casey's undivided attention.

Helen had not known if what she witnessed between her son and Rick was an experiment or not but she did find it strange that they both appeared to have been attracted to and hold the interest of two cheerleaders. Dee handed Helen a soda and smiled as she looked over at the boys on the court.

"They are something else aren't they?" she asked taking a sip of her own soda as she watched the boy do their drills.

"That they are," replied Helen with a sigh as she popped the top of her own soda and drank it down while watching the court.

She highly doubted Dee knew about her nephew and her son being intimate otherwise she'd have given her something that was a lot stronger than a soda to get through the game.
