6 Chapter 06: His Pet (II)

I tried to chant mantras that I found on some books that was inside the pack's library. I even tried to count sheep's and turtles just to keep my surprise and fear away. But even after doing all the mental exercises I could think of, I couldn't stop myself from staring at the man standing before me.

I know it was foolish for me to react like this when I was just abducted as payment for my father's debt and taken to a strange and unknown place. But a girl could admire a deadly gorgeous male God standing in front of her, right?

Still stuck between the door, I started to stutter after snapping out of my shock.

"I-I..."

I saw him raise his thick eyebrows at my words, his eyes glowing in the dark as it stared at my own.

"I'm sorry!" Finally, I was able to form words, but because I was too embarrassed to see him naked in front of me, my neck and face started to heat up.

"I... I didn't know someone was here. I was just -"

"Trying to escape."

Before I could continue what I was going to say, the man decided to finish it.

I quickly nodded again and bit my lower lip to hide my shame. I actually admitted to it without giving it a thought. What kind of an idiot am I?

I wanted to slap myself for getting caught off guard. I wasn't new to seeing a man naked. In the Crimson Pack, I would see men who had just finished their pack training take off their clothes to take a dip on the river or lake that was near our pack. But most of the time, I saw them completely butt naked when they had just shifted from their beast form to their human form.

But still, I couldn't stop fidgeting and feeling embarrassed seeing the man who my father owed money from naked. This was a first to me.

"You can't escape from here..." I snapped my head up when I heard him speak. "This place is far from where you came from. And even if you can leave, you might not never be able to get back to your family forever."

His magnetic voice rang inside my ears. He said 'from where I came from' and 'forever'. Immediately after hearing these words, I grabbed on them and focused my mind to analyze it.

"Where is this place? Where did you take me?" My heart began to beat faster as I asked him.

"Lucrasia." The man dropped a bomb atop my head as he revealed where we are.

I stood still, my body began to tremble as though I was in standing in the middle of a raging blizzard and continued to hearing the name of the place we were in ringing in my ears.

Lucrasia.

It was the inner world where Bluebloods from the royalty and nobles lived.

The world we live in was divided into three parts. Lucrasia, the place where all bigshots and people with authority to the three realms lived.

The Forest, the second realm, was where all common folks of the supernatural world lived. It was also the realm where I had lived before I was taken here. In it, several packs were formed and the Alphas took the position as the leader of the pack. But in honesty, they were just head pieces put in there just to oversee the lower ranked supernatural creatures while they receive orders from high up, from the people living in Lucrasia.

And lastly, the Edge. It was the third and lowest realm where all non-magical and supernatural lived. It was the mortal's world and it was also where Avery, the woman who took my mate, came from. It was an overpopulated place filled with nothing desirable aside from their brilliant minds to invent new things.

They also had no idea that there was two upper realms other than the world they lived in.

I continued to stand there without doing anything. My breathing was getting too fast and my heart beat was almost audible as it began to beat harder and harder.

"Don't faint."

I suddenly heard the man's voice and all my fears suddenly dissipated to the air and the abnormalities in my body also disappeared with it.

"What?" I asked him.

The man, still naked, said, "You look like you're about to faint."

I turned bright red from that.

"I am not." I ground out.

"That's good then. I don't want you to lose your consciousness inside my bathroom."

I glared at him and wanted to tell him it was his own fault. How could they just take her to Lucrasia? If they wanted her to repay me father's debt, they could just left me to some place to work hard for it. They didn't need to take me to the first realm with them.

But I kept my mouth shut as I also didn't want to keep poking my head inside the beast's jaws.

The man pulled the door wide open, passing by me, he entered the room. He walked with deadly confidence, not at all ashamed that I was watching him walk butt naked. But honestly, I couldn't tear my eyes off those soft looking but firm big buns of his.

"What is your name?" I heard him asking as he walked away.

"Elizabeth." I decided to use my real name instead of the nickname everyone from my pack used to call me. I didn't want to be called by that name ever again.

"Elizabeth." Hearing him call the name my mother gave me, I felt my heart make a jump. But soon, my heart dropped down to my stomach as I heard him speak again, "A beautiful name for a pet."

"What?" I stared at him and saw him turn his head to look at me. He must have seen the shock on my face as he started to explain.

"Since you're father gave you to me as payment to his debt. Technically, you are mine. I don't know what to do with you and since I'm only lacking of a pet, I decided to keep you by my side as one. Hence, from today on, you are to live in my estate and be my pet." He opened the closet and took out a white tunic, a black coat with red and gold patterns embroidered on the lapels, and a black tunic.

He laid them on the edge of the bed, completely ignoring me as I tried to keep calm and not to scream or throw a string of curse words out loud at my stupid father and aunt who sealed my fate.

But there's one thing that I'm more furious about what he had just said.

He said I was his pet.

Just what does he mean by that?
