Just read the first trial 20 chapters and find that this book has a lot of potential. Admittedly it is a very very slow build right now and there is a lot of China being moral and great etc, but once you ignore that it does indeed show a lot of positive growth. I look forward to seeing how this goes and really hope the MC isn’t a low EQ sub, it appears of late that most Chinese novels have been favouring that particular trope.

The Blatant Nationalism is gross but this story is definitely much more raw and interesting than your standard trial reads. The first few chapters blew me away with the protagonist sounding like an ACTUAL HUMAN BEING (ironic because he probably isn’t anymore…but that’s just my conjecture). The island lifestyle got boring quick and the unfortunate new characters were also very annoying, BUT this is different and deserves a shot.

First few chapters are good and will definitely attract your attention. But later on, the story goes the normal typical Chinese way. It could have been a great story, but the author destroyed everything.

actually great world building a perfect novel but the only flaw is the racism in it but it's minute that u can overlook it but it still bad though that's why I gave it a star less

Please please please get this selected. It’s too good not to be picked. Its well thought out and is extremely realistic at times. There is also humor mixed in, but that generally doesn’t take away from the story

this novel is actually pretty good especially after chapter 90 and i dont get the other comments talking about chinese nationalism they either havent even read the novel or its just Sinophobia

Holy cow. This is an A tier book. Characters that feel like people. An OP MC that can't just steamroll everything and uses his brain. Great writing and mostly accurate translation. There is a bit of nationalism, but nothing egregious. There is no racism. Highly recommend.

Definitely not common trash like other recommended novel in trial read the potential is there.... i give it 5⭐ so it can be chosen among the common trash...i hope it does

Ultranationalistic, sterotypes all other countries and is definitely racist especially towards africa and “the west” but worst of all is marked as complete when it is dropped after chapter 452, why doesn’t it have the “dropped” label

I haven't read many chapters of this novel, but I'm looking for an almost identical novel but with a character with a largely different mind. does it exist? this novel is good but the main character, his mind bothers me, I have the impression that he is a child in full puberty, it looks like an "isekai" manga, I prefer characters with a very different mind. the story is good, and I'm looking for something similar but with a different character (mentally). there is one thing that I don't understand, there are really a lot of perverts or followers of the "harem" among Asians or what? sometimes it's scary...
