"Yuuma's POV"

"I'm going to abroad to live with my aunt..." Barely keeping my smile.

"So you're leaving me too...." She say in a state of suprise with her eyes wide opened unable to speak any further.

"Iam sorry for leaving you like this...." I say inaudibly and raises my hand to gently pat her head softly. "I lack the ability to stay by your side but I promise when I return I will be the one protecting you...." I tell and watched her with an eager attention without taking my eyes off her and she just stood there mutely unfeeling as if her emotions has been drained out from the all misfortune that caused her. She was lost. I know she was. Like a red cherry the bubbly cheerful girl I once knew was no longer to be found.

"Then... I'll be taking my leave now..." The hand that was on her head slowly traces down from her smooth hair and touched her soft cheek that felt so cold when the back of my knuckle turned to slightly feel her. I wasn't upset departing from my parents as much as I felt watching her. A silent bell rang in my heart and I realised I was attached to this girl before I even knew.... But if this what takes me to become her man I'm willing to cross any miles for her.

Because just like that day.... if I continue to stay under her shadow I will never be able to protect her...

[Flashback: one year ago, after the incident in the woods]

Ever since of the tragic incident in the woods she has been laying unconscious. I silently sat beside her for an hour or half. When I watched her swelling face and her wounds on her other parts of body she looked in terrible pain. I felt my bruises stinging me in my left foot but those were incomparable to hers.

"So you came today as well..." A voice broke the silent in the room. Aito was leaning against the wall by the door with his arms crossed in stern glares. "Poor lil sis...If you had not chose to get hurt for someone like him you would have never gone through this pain."

"She got hurt protecting me...." I mumble in guilt. "Only if she had not protected me then...she-"

"That's right. It's your fault because you couldn't protect her." His stares deepened in mockery manner, "Shouldn't you break your ties with her? Weaklings like you should be ashamed. Do you think you deserve my sister?"

"..."

He says grinning, "Pathetic."

Though deep inside I deserve all the swearings he doesn't need to go too far. But to what he said were all true. Iam just a weakling fraidy cat who whines behind a girl.

"Don't worry, they will be sending you off safely. Go with them...." I tell her and hug mom and dad before departing and the plane takes off.

[Six hours ago]

*Bringg...

*Bringg...

"Hello?" One of the brothers answers the call whose voice seem to be of Aito's.

"Yuuma here."

"Uh....so why did you call?"

"Iam going to America today. So I was thinking of taking her out...."

"Does she know?"

"Not yet, but I suggest you to keep this from her."

"....."

"Who's that?" A voice ask him from the other side of the call.

"Brother Sora? It's Yuuma, he said he's going abroad so he wanted-"
