"Sore Hearts"

She was alive, moving and breathing lively.

Gaining her conscious and when her tiny fingers twitched and mumbling sound was heard it made their restless heart grow in impatient. Just what in the earth she is talking? The eldest brother shook her shoulder gently and thought of something to bring her back by calling her name, "Amehana Chan! your brothers are here to see you."

The youngest one after seeing the repeated twitching he held the girl's pinky finger in a way to relax her and that amazingly worked when it stop and hear a soothing voice all of a sudden, "Who called my name beside mama?" She opened her eyes slowly trying not to blur them by the light all at once...

Eyes like the galaxy and deep as heaven's blue and voice like a butterscotch they were mesmerized the moment her eyes laid upon them.

"I hate you all!!" I shrill in pain-filled standing up from my seat. "You...." I exhale very hard taking breathes as if I was running out of breath in pain, ".....You're a bad!" I step backwards withdrawing from them, "A bad! I don't care anymore!" And race up the stairs immediately leaving the hall without looking back.

They didn't care to follow her back. And they shouldnt. This is what they want. This is how it should be. They dislike her. They despise her. And they should. But their eyes widened in conflict. Like a sharp pointed chain binding their hearts, they were in sore. Just how long can they lie to themself? She wasn't the root of the issue. She was never. If they were hurt they were the caused of their own pain.

The heart doesn't allow them to hate her nor does it approve the love for her.

A month later after the word of big brother the workers left one by one. He didn't state the reason but he was the head of the house after dad left. So his command were no less the word of a master. Flora and the old butler were one of the very few who remained.

I was in the living room alone all by myself when someone rang the doorbell of our house. After looking around I went in to open the door.

"Hey."

"Yuuma??" I thought my eyes nearly popped right out of my head when I saw him again. "What's the reason for the sudden visit? Should have told me beforehand." Looking in surprise and my eyes land on the men outside who was standing by the car. They must be his guards.

"Are you free?" He tells me.

"Yes, why?" I ask him in return.

"Wanna hang out?"

"I would love too! But...why all of a sudden?"

"Just. I wanted to see you...hehe." He gives a off a warm smile.

"Could you wait for me then? I have to inform my brothers first."

"I had already informed them before coming here."

"Geez and they didn't care to tell me!" I say pouting.

He titters, "Well I probably was the one who told them to keep from you. Now keep the talk for later and let's go we're getting late..." He says grabbing my hand and pulls me out which almost got me tripping before he held it more tightly. We went inside the car and sat together.

"You look in a hurry." I tell him.

"Am I?" He speak in a nervous tone.

"Yes, so where are we going?"

"Um...let's see... I haven't thought about it." He say thinking of something. "Is there any place you wanna see or visit?"

My eyes trailed from his face to down his behaviour and realised he was well dressed today after noticing the clothing he usually doesn't wear.

"Anywhere you say." I reply smiling.

"Then it's decided we're going to an amusement park."

Come to think of it I have never gone to an amusement park though I had always wished to visit once. I feel a little sad thinking how I had lost the chance with them. Coincidentally there was a carnival that evening so it was a jackpot! Though it was crowdy and rush I had a lot of fun. There were rides and games and a lot of games. We rode in a merry go round then went for a roller coaster and water rides. We also ate takoyaki and ramen and even taco too! "Waahh...my tummy feels so stuffed now..." Holding my belly like it was a balloon and my other hand grabbing a hot dog at a stand nearby which make him giggle.

"Wow that was fun!" I flush in overjoy. "Let's play again another time!" I smile with a teeth.

He smiles back after a series of stared look, "Sure...let's play again.."

The sun was setting by the time we were on our way to home. The sky was bright orange and red. We watched the sun set through the glass of our windows and as it dipped below the horizon it turned darker.

When I notice the driver turned away from the usual path and took a different route I ask in doubt, "Uh..Yuuma I think we are going in a wrong direction."

"Don't worry we are in the right direction..." He say, calmly without turning his face to my direction.

When we reached our destination and I looked out I found out that we were outside a building to what I thought was an airport. What!? Airport?? Why would he bring me here?

"Let's go.....they have been waiting for quite a long time." He say grabbing my hand and goes inside the building, followed by the security guards.

"Wait...Yuuma! Where are we going?" I briefly stops pulling my hand away from him.

"Uh, sorry." He releases my hand right away after noticing my struggle "Don't worry I'm not taking you anywhere..." He smiles after chuckling a bit, "Iam going to America today. Sorry for not telling you." He says smiling forcefully and his mommy and daddy shows up from the receiption who had been waiting for him that I guess.

"What!??" I stare in confuse. "Now!!?"

Nodding his head in a little guilt, "Now...." He says softly, "But Iam going alone....they're only here to see me off."
