Diane didn't return the next morning. Even when I left for class, she didn't come back . Doesn't she need to change her clothes to attend classs? Or is she gonna skip?

I don't think much of it earlier but was I really that harsh? I didn't think she'd react like this . I guess I'll have to apologise once I see her . After thinking about it , I felt like she was kinda right . I judged her too quickly . Everything I know about her is just from my researching online. It's not like I've already known about it personally. Since we'll be living for quite some time , I'll have to extend an olive branch. It'll be too awkward this way .

I ignore the nagging feeling and waited patiently for the class to end .

Upon my arrival, I was greeted by an alarming side . Diane was not in her usual chirpy and annoying self. Instead she was lying there in a weakened state curled up in a ball with her forehead etched with perspiration. She seems to have a terrible fever . Where the hell did she even went last night?

I felt like I was kinda responsible for her state.

" Diane! Did you hear me ? It's Lillac, have you taken any pills? " I gently wake her . She slowly open her eyes trying to find the source of the sound. Even when she's all weak and sick, she's still so gorgeous. Some people are just born like that .

" Lilly , my head hurts a lot . It's so cold ." She replied in her raspy voice . I'm guessing that's a no . She probably just slept in .

" That's because you're having a fever . I'll go get some water . Try to stay awake for a while . You need to take a pill. You're fever is high , we can go to the hospital if the pill doesn't help." I said just about to get up but a hand suddenly stop me from going holding mine tightly.

I try to escape from her grasped but her grip is strangely strong for a sick girl.

" Don't leave... It's cold .. mom don't go ..." She mumbled in her half sleep state.

" Diane, I'm not your mom. It's me ,Lillac .

I'll just get the water and come back . " I said trying to calm her down . She slowly nodded and loosened her grip . I quickly grab some water , some pills and a towel.

I help her sit up and feed her the pill. She went back to sleeping soon after that . I wet the towel and sooth her burning forehead. My mom always took care of me like this whenever I get sick . She'll make some herbal tea and soups instead of taking me to the hospital. My mom has a home remedy for every minor illness.

I remember when I got sick in 3rd grade . I was crying a lot because of my stomach pain . She simply put a heating pad on my stomach, fed me some porridge and I got better in no time . She taught about a lot of life skills like cooking , cleaning, team work and kindness. She also taught to know my worth and not settle for any less . I always followed that principle or at least I thought I did . She warned about fuckboys too but look where I am . I still got played by that jerk. It makes me mad just thinking about it .

He followed me like a dog for a whole year before I agreed to be his girlfriend. Who would have thought he'll ditch me the moment he saw a prettier girl ? He got patience, I'll give him that . I can't believe he haven't reach out to me even once to apologise. Does he think I'm some short of toy he can just throw away when he get tired ? Now even Diane is sick because of him . I wouldn't be having an argument with my roommate on my first day here if it's not for him . If only he didn't chase her day and night, I won't get mad at Diane for telling me that.

Wait a second! I just got a great idea. He really like her , didn't he ? And the girl he likes so much just happened to be my roommate. Why didn't I think of this earlier? This will be the prefect revenge for that jerk . I have the opportunity to give him a taste of his own medicine. The only thing left to do is convince Diane. I'm sure she'll agree , she is already playing around with many people anyway. She won't care about hurting a guy's feeling. I'll ask my lovely roomate to help in my plan . I'll have to nursh her with extra care so she'll be so grateful to me .
