Chapter 12 Mr. Matvey's girlfriend

Sofia looked awkward, but aside from the nurse, she really didn't know who to turn to right now. She hesitated and then spoke up.

"I feel tired and short of breath, the scent on that man makes me feel uncomfortable, can you help me ask him out?"

Matvey raised an eyebrow at Sofia, he sneered. I didn't expect her to make up such a lie. But he wants to know if this nurse is smart enough to tell if she is lying or not?

"Isn't he your boyfriend? If it's not your relative, why are you here? Are you two mad at each other?" The nurse looked at Matvey in bewilderment, then turned to Sofia.

"He's not my boyfriend. He's in the wrong room." Sofia hastily replied.

The nurse stopped talking to Sofia, she walked up to Matvey and spoke to him in a low voice.

"Her health is failing, she needs rest."

When the nurse said this, Sofia was secretly pleased in her heart. However, her next words broke her down.

"You're a boyfriend, so you know how to pamper her a bit. Even if she said the wrong thing or did something wrong, you can't just endure it because she's sickI still have a lot of work to do, and I don't have time here to deal with your love affairs."

The nurse gave Matvey a few words and then walked out of the room, ignoring Sofia calling for her.

After the nurse left, Matvey smiled mischievously and walked up to Sofia to provoke her.

"Do you have a smarter way? Instead of you pretending to be sick to drive me away, why don't you eat and drink to quickly recover your health and then push me out of the room yourself."

Sofia frowned, she silently pondered Matvey's words. He was right, why should she torture herself for him. she didn't owe him anything either, but he owed her. After thinking it through, Sofia began to eat the porridge Matvey brought.

Matvey didn't say anything, he went back to the sofa and sat down and took out his phone to start processing. He should have returned to the company to attend the meeting now, but because he was here, he could only meet online. He glanced at Sofia who was still eating on the other side and slowly replied.

"My health is very good. I just visited a friend who is sick. No one is taking care of this friend for the time being, so I'm staying here."

Sofia was taken aback by his words, she glanced at him, finding him looking at his phone screen. She guessed he was probably on a video call with someone. while she was wondering who was calling to find him that he had to lie like that. Originally, she and he were just strangers, not friends. Suddenly, the nurse who had just entered her room turned back, and as soon as she entered the room, she spoke.

"Brother, you go to the doctor for a bit so that the doctor can tell you about your girlfriend's health, as well as when she can be discharged."

The nurse left a reminder to Matvey and then left the room again, regardless of what he was doing and whether or not she heard what she said? Sofia looked at the nurse in bewilderment, then glanced at Matvey. She saw that his expression was very bad. Maybe because the nurse's words made the person on the phone misunderstand his relationship with her, right? "I'm not his girlfriend, we're just strangers. Please don't misunderstand our relationship."

Matvey looked at Sofia with a black face, he coldly spoke.

"Temporarily end the meeting here, waiting for my arrangements."

"Meeting?" Sofia was surprised to repeat the words she had just heard from him.

"What are you doing? Are you doing it on purpose? Wanting to let everyone in my company know you're my woman?" Matvey coldly stood up and approached Sofia.

"Are you crazyI was clearly explaining our relationship just now. I'd be crazy to want to be your woman." Sofia angrily retorted.

Matvey sneered, he slowly brought his face closer to hers, then whispered in her ear.

"So who took the initiative to seduce me to have sex with her?"

Sofia was stunned, her face immediately pale as she remembered what happened. She shivered as she answered him.

"It's true that I was crazy, but now I'm sober. I beg you to stop bothering me. Stay away from me."

"I have never let others control me, nor have I ever done what others want."

Matvey left a sentence and then straightened up and walked out of the room. Of course Sofia knew where he was going so she didn't feel happy when he was gone. She really wanted to get out of here by herself right now. She didn't want to see him again. But she knew she couldn't do it, because her health didn't allow it. She lay still, reassuring herself to be strong and calmly face him. She must not appear embarrassed and afraid to be despised by him.

Matvey followed the nurse's instructions to see Sofia's treating doctor. I don't know what the doctor said to Matvey but his attitude out of the room was bad.

"Damn it. Why is her health so weak?"

So the doctor told him Sofia was severely debilitated and might have symptoms of self-harm depression. The more he thought about it, the harder it was to believe, how could she have symptoms of depression?

Matvey returned to the ward, glancing over to the hospital bed, where Sofia was lying with her back to him. She was very active, and just now argued that she didn't want to lose to him, how could she have symptoms of depression. Certainly the doctor misdiagnosed.
