1 The rain never seems to stop

He sat in a silent house, the constant thumping of the rain on his windows his only real company. A warm broken leather armchair was his seating of choice for the night and he had decided to read one of the many books he had purchased but never ended up opening. Maybe he just liked the smell of new books but it was like an addiction of sorts. So there he was at peace minding his own business when someone knocks on his door. He got up and peaked over the railing only to see a shadowy figure at the door, then came the several, and I mean several doorbell rings. Sighing in both annoyance and disappointment he walks down the stairs and opens the door to see whoever or whatever had come to ruin his perfectly nice night.

Opening his door he's greeted by his dear friend Cobalt! Great... he frowned and in an annoyed tone asks a few kind words to his soaked friend "What the hell are you doing here? It's like what, midnight?" he tapped his foot impatiently waiting for an answer. Considering it was Cobalt he probably messed up big time and needed help, but that didn't mean he couldn't give him a hard time. Regardless of what Cobalt did he was always here to help. Silently his friend dropped a wet blood soaked hammer onto his entrance flooring, stared into his eyes with a pleading look and muttered "I think I killed someone,". Well... not what he was excepting but that didn't really change anything. Maybe he was too stunned to process what Cobalt had said but in the end he just replayed with "Come inside, your soaked"
