CHAPTER FOUR – BRING IT ON
In the comfort room, Yzabella is still crying while Sunny and Eunice are calming her down. They are waiting for Gabriella, who went to get her extra clothes.
" Yzabella please don't cry … You know Britanny she is the meanest among the minions of that bitch." Sunny said
" I can't believe she would do that to me. I'm glad Gabriella helped me." Yzabella said
" Yeah, I like her. Imagine this is her first day in school but she defended you whom she just met this morning to some wicked girl. She is not like Jeannie and her friends. She is more than a face, I like her because she is beautiful inside and out" Eunice said
" Yeah, but with what she did to Britanny I think her life in YGU would be difficult. I know she will not stop until she got her revenge on Gabriella" she worriedly said
" She protects us without any hesitation, she stands up for you even though she just met you this morning. I think it is just right to give back the favor to her. We will guard her against the evil duchesses of the Queen"
They didn't know that Gabriella is outside the comfort room listening to their conversation. She smiled before she came inside and give her clothes to Yzabella. She knows that she met new good friends at Standford University.
" I'm back, Yza here try this blouse." Gabbie gave a pink blouse to her.
" Thank you," Yza said and change her clothes.
" Gabriella, thank you for helping Yza with Britanny. You know those girls are a pain in the ass, for most of us." Sunny said
" Oh, you don't have to thank me. I hate those kinds of students who are bullying others thinking that they are better than anyone else. Don't let that kind of people hurt you " she said
" Yes, we will not allow that to happen again"
" So what is your next subject, Gabriella?"
" Ahh… Literature with Professor Harris. Oh, it's almost time. I have to go, I don't want to be late"
"Gabriella wait . "
" Why ?"
" Be careful, Professor Harris is the cousin of Britanny. I just hope that she will not do anything to humiliate you in the class" Eunice said
" Don't worry girls, I can take care of myself. Thanks for the warning "

When Gabbie came in the students look at her. Some look at her like she is a hero, some look at her with fears. She just ignores their stares, but in the corner of her eyes, she can see Britanny and her group smirking at her.
" Hmmm, I think the evil girl is planning something. You can't take me down girl, Bring it on" Gabbie said to herself.
Trevor's group is observing her especially Cedrick and Macky. They can't believe that a girl like Gabriella who looks so fragile can stand and defend other students from Jeannie's group. They are admiring her not only because she is beautiful but because of her character.
"Aisssht! I wish I had a girlfriend as her" Macky said
" Sorry Mac, but that girl is meant for me, " Cedrick said
Jeannie looks at them with disgust on her face " Duh! You don't have taste when it comes to girls"
Macky is about to react when professor Harris came in, Britanny shows her evil smile to Gabriella.
Gabriella is listening to Professor Harris's lectures when whispered something to her.
" Princess I'm worried for you, our professor is Sohee's cousin. She will not stop until she returns the favor of humiliating you in front of the class."Zach whispered to Gabbie
" it's okay. Don't worry" Gabbie said still looking at the professor
" Yah! You two if you want to talk to each other do it outside the class. " Harris shouted at them.
Britanny said " Sorry sir but our new student Ms.Gabriella Collins seems to be good at flirting. She just wants to use your time in flirting with her seatmate Zachary
" That's not true," Zach denied
" Well if it is not true, then maybe you could explain to me our lesson?" Professor Harris asked
" Ahhh its… about … it's about …." Zach doesn't know the answer since he is not listening to his lecture.
" See, you are not listening. How about you Ms.Collins? Care to explain our lesson about Korean Prose?" Professor Harris smirked
The students look at each other because the question that Professor Harris is asking is the topic he is just about to discuss in the next lesson.
" Wait he didn't discuss that right ?" Macky asked
" Neh , what he discussed was the Hyannga or the literary Clerk's writing ." Cedrick confusingly nodded
" Ssshhh… will you just shut up," Jeannie said
" Ms.Collins I'm waiting, your classmates are waiting ." Professor Harris said and look at his cousin Britanny who is smiling evilly.
Gabbie stood slowly and look at her professor. " Sir I was listening to you a while ago, and you were discussing the HYANGGA. As you said it was the first uniquely Korean form of Poetry. But if you want me to discuss the Korean prose, which is supposed to be our next topic I would gladly comply."
Britanny's smile slowly faded as she saw Gabriella confidently smiling at her. Then Sandara look at their professor and explained
" Korean prose literature can be divided into narratives, fiction, and literary miscellany. Narratives include myths, legends, and folktales found in the written records. The principal sources of these narratives are the two great historical records compiled during the Koryo dynasty: Samguk Sagi (1146; "Historical Record of the Three Kingdoms") and Samguk yusa (1285; "Memorabilia of the Three Kingdoms"). The most important myths are those concerning the Sun and the Moon, the founding of Korea by Tangun, and the lives of the ancient kings. The legends touch on a place and personal names and natural phenomena. The folktales include stories about animals; ogres, goblins, and other supernatural beings; kindness rewarded and evil punished; and cleverness and stupidity. Because the compiler of the Samguk yusa was a Zen master, his collection includes the lives of Buddhist saints; the origin of monasteries, stupas, and bells; accounts of miracles performed by Buddhas, and bodhisattvas; and other tales rich in shamanist and Buddhist elements. The compilations made in the Koryo period preserved the stories of prehistoric times, of the Three Kingdoms, and the Silla dynasty and have remained the basic sources for such material. Later compilations made during the Yi dynasty served as a major source of materials for later Yi dynasty fiction."
Professor Harris gulped as Gabriella explained the lesson on Korean prose. He can't believe that the girl is intelligent enough to discuss the topic he is just about to discuss. Britanny's face is so red because of anger, while the students are smiling and admiring her more.
" Sir do you have any other questions?" Gabriella asked politely.
" Ah none, very well said Ms. Collins. It seems that you have a lot of knowledge in Korean Literature." Professor Harris commented.
" Well, honestly sir Literature is my favorite subject. Love Korean and American Literature." Gabriella smiles sweetly.
" That's good to know Ms. Collins you may now take your seat. Mr. Smith, you should learn from Ms. Collins."
" Yes sir, "
" Show off," Britanny said. Gabriella gives her sweetest smile to Jeannie and her friends.
