1 The Hunt

It was a shiny day. Sun was just few hours away to descend.

Inside a forest three boys were laying on the top of a mountain facing back down.

One of them was a bit taller from average laying on the right side and he is quite healthy though and on the middle lay a boy who was a bit fatter than average people, simply a fat chubby boy. On the left side was laying a boy who was quite thin and shorter than other boys in the group.

"La how are you feeling, did you get your full today "

" No, Mom didn't even let me touch a single food today I will only get my food at night that also a little bit, friends I am suffering a lot in these days "

The fat boy was named "Che La", shorter one is "Chi Nie" and taller one is called "Chu Na". The Taller one was speaking to the fat boy and shorter one was just laying there with closing his eyes. The taller one asked the shorter one.

" Is your health all right now, Nie "

" It's the same as before, no change "

" Hey guys I have something to tell you "

" Just vomit it out already"

The three boys were laying on the top of the mountain without much expression and they had a solemn look on their face.

The were wearing a plain clothes from top to bottom. Chu Na was wearing a brown shirt where his whole arm is exposed and his abs can be seen from the gap of his shirt. And he wore a blue pant. Che La wore a brown shirt that barely fit his body and a nice fitting brown half pant and a small bag hanging from his shoulder. Chi Nie was wearing a black shirt and black pants that had several patches over it and it fully covering his body.

" I I I I "

Chu Na was stuttering while saying. So Che La retorted.

" Hey complete what you are saying bro, don't just leave us hanging "

He was quite flustered as his chubby face moved side by side as he retorted while laying. Suddenly Chu Na blurted out.

" I am leaving for the northern country tomorrow for a job arranged by Uncle Liu "

Suddenly by hearing this the other two of them had a 180 degree change in expression from solemn to bright expression. See his two friends having a bright expression on their face Chu Na' s eyes became watery.

" You people truly don't want me to be with you "

" Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

The other two started laughing as they watched him crying while they sat on the cliff.

" You're going to work for Nangong Imperial family "

" Yes Yes Yes, how do you know that "

Chu Na was full of shock as he heard this.

" And you are going to work in the Imperial kitchen where you can get as much food as you want isn't it ".

" No Na I was meant to work as a servant in the Imperial house hold ".

Then Chi Nie stood up and tells while laughing.

" Today there should be a barbeque party as we all going to the same place for our better future "

Che La stood up and started thinking.

" What are you thinking La "

" Man there wouldn't be any chickens for us tonight, all the villagers are quite worried that their chickens were stolen by us that's why they had put a lot of traps and even dogs to protect their chickens "

Chi Nie said " Yes all us here is quite afraid of dogs or else we could have found any kind of ways to steal those chickens "

" Hey I am not afraid of dogs " Chu Na retorted

" Yeah Nie I am quite bored eating the same chickens again again why not try to something else " Che La suggested.

" What should we get to barbeque tonight "

" Anything can suffice "

" Hey why not a get to have some beef as our dinner party we never had beef as it's only a delicacy for the rich people, they only gets those "

" But it will take quite some time and force to have this feast "

As the conversation ended they started walking backward. Toward the back of the mountain. Chi Nie took three withered Tree bark and threw two toward Chu Na and Che La.

" Now get ready to slide "

" Hey this side got lots of trees, should we jump "

Che La screamed as they arrived at the cliff of the mountain. And they jumped from the cliff using the tree bark as a sliding skate board.

Somehow Che La mustered up his confidence and jumped behind Chu Na and Che La. Chu Na taking the lead. Chi Nie and Che La followed behind. The forest was quite dense there were lots of trees in front of them. They used the stones and the slopes as a ramp to perform the flying stunt and to avoid getting hit by the rocks and trees.

" Hey look there is a big tree log blocking our path " Chi Nie cried out with alarm.

" Ha ha ha are you scared Nie ? " Che La mocked with a excited voice.

There was a big and few small fallen tree log. which was thirty feet long in height.

" See who is talking now "

" Ha ha ha ..... "

They started laughing but soon the fallen tree log was infront of them. Suddenly Chu Na jumped and took the tree bark on his left hand and cought a long natural made wild vine of a tree. He grabbed it and swinging through it he leapt over the tree log.

Then Che La took the tree bark from his feet to his right hand and threw it over his head and he ran toward the right side where there was a slope made he ran towards it and grabbed the tree bark again and threw it again but now he threw it over the big tree log and he ran toward the slanting slope with a increase in speed and he jumped and he rolled through it. It was like a u ramp for skate board stant but a bit slanting towards the ground. He rolled through it toward the big tree log and finally over it. He landed on a tree branch which was thick like a two human hand and he caught the tree bark. Then the tree branch broke from middle where he was standing and he put the tree bark on his feet and he finally landed on the ground and he slide through it.

Chi Nie simply just passed through a small hole at left side of the tree log.

When they finally arrived at the other side of the tree. Chu Na exclaimed.

" Hey let's see who can reach the bottom first " Chu Na told.

" What will I get if I came first " Che La asked.

" Hmmmm ...."

" You can have half the roasted meat, if you win " Chi Nie replied.

With saying this three of them started to skate through the forest slope toward the bottom. While skating through the forest they jumped here and there and ducking under tree like in " Temple Run " game.

After two hours of extreme skating they finally arrived at the bottom of the mountain. The first to arrive was Chi Nie then Che La and Chu Na at last following them.

" So we finally arrived at the bottom "

" Yeah we did, but sorry La you didn't win the run "

Chu Na landed on the ground from high a top of a tree out of nowhere huffing puffing and sweating all over. Releasing foul smell from his body.

" Hey first let us get something that can help us make a good trap to hunt a animal "

" So what should I get Nie ? "

By saying this Chu Na tried to reach Chi Nie but he was stopped by Che La.

" Hey stay away from us you smell like shit again "

Che La just threw a big cloth from his side bag which he always keeps with himself. One thing to notice that Che La always brings a small side bag with him

" Yeah just rub off those black sweats from your body "

Chu Na took the piece of cloth from Che La and stood their waiting for Chi Nie to speak.

" La will bring wild vine, and Na will bring wooden sticks and logs."

" And I will search for useful ingredients to concoct sedative poison, Now go "

Che La started to search for wild vines he got hold of lots of vines big, small, long, thick various types of vines. Chu Na leapt on trees and broke the tree branches and collected them. Chi Nie needed to search for the herbals to concoct sedative poison.

It took half and hour for Chu Na and Che La to find wild vines and tree branches but Chi Nie was still searching for the herbs. When Chu Na came back he wasn't stinking like before. But he looked somehow refreshed and energetic.

After waiting for another fifteen minutes finally Chi Nie came back.

" Hey we were waiting for you quite some time bro, let's hunt I am a bit hungry you know " Che La said.

After that Chi Nie instructed them to bring some stones and Told told Chu Na to create sharp pointy edge.

Chi Nie instructed Chu Na rather than Che La because Chu Na was weirdly powerful.

Chu Na made some pointy tools and and Spears and also grinded some herbs for Chi Nie as per his instructions. After another half an hour the tools and sedative poisons were ready.

" So get ready for hunt "

They stood side by side and Chi Nie said.

" So what are we going to do "

When everyone was showing excited face suddenly Che La spoke with a confused face.

" What La said is true, what are we supposed to do Nie " Chu Na reacts to Che La's word.

" Just do as I say "

" Yes, let's go "

Three of them looking at a big bull eating grass infront of them. As they were hiding behind a bush.

" Hey anyone of us need to lure him to that spot, so who's doing it "

They looked at each other. Finally Che La said.

" Hey Na you should lure it and I will pull the rope and Nie will stab it with poisoned spears, what about that "

" I was thinking the same thing, Chu Na is strong, powerful and tall he also can run faster than us due to his long legs " Chi Nie agreed to Che La with a explaination.

Chu Na jumped out of the bush and stared at the bull but the bull didn't even look at him. Na picked a stone and threw it toward the bull and it hit his belly but the bull didn't even care about it as it glared at Na and started concentrating on eating again. But exactly at that time Che La threw a stone at the bull's crotch. It again glared at Na but now with an angry look Na didn't even understand why is this bull so furious.

" I should run now " Chu Na thought.

" Run "

Chu Na cried and started running.

" That bull chased behind Na, now get ready and return to the spot "

Chi Nie and Che La returned to their expected spot and waited for Chu Na's arrival.

On the other side Chu Na was being chased by the bull. That bull was quite fast for a bull as it chased after Chu Na. With every passing minute the bull was accelerating it's speed so as Chu Na. Chu Na was just trying to shake off the bull but the bull just kept getting near him. After about twenty minutes there were only blurry after images of a man and a bull can be seen in the forest. Where a man is being chased by a bull.

At the spot Chi Nie climbed up a tree. There were many spikes or say spears coated with poison were attached to a rope binding it and if the rope is cut it will fall and the other end was tied with a tree down to a tree. He stood beside the rope and called at Che La.

" Hey I think he lost the way here and was chased to a different direction "

" Nie that wouldn't look good "

" Don't over think it we should divert him to here "

" How is that "

Suddenly Chi Nie shouted at the top of his voice.

" Na Na Na "

On the other side Chu Na heard a voice calling his name but it was quite a faint one. He realised what he needs to do. He accelerated his speed again and followed the direction where the voice was coming from.

" Nie it isn't good other beast will know of our whereabouts, Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh, No "

At that very moment two blurry figures passed by him and he cried because by the reaction of his instinct he pulled the rope so that the bull would fall but he was thrown off in distance toward the tree. Chu Na was smashed into the tree and the bull followed behind him. The tree was holding the poisoned spikes. The spikes were randomly falling off the tree. That tree was the sturdiest tree in the forest and it was a huge tree but it was still torn off due to the impact of the bull smashing in to it.

The spikes were falling Chu Na fainted from the the impact. Che La's head was smashed to a stone nearby. Chi Nie was falling off the tree.
