1 Am I a Zombie?

A lonely boy was wandering through a forsaken wilderness on a dark, moonless night.

"I have been following this map for more than three weeks, and there is still no sign of anything." He said.

He held an orange bow in his hand and was armoured in regal-appearing armour.

The following week-

Following the map, he eventually located an old temple. Huge and covered in grass and vines, it was immense. It seemed a little strange that the temple was blue.

At the door stood a little red lion statue with its lips open.

"I believe that this is the location that the map indicates. This is undoubtedly a hidden easter egg that leads to difficult-to-find quests or items." He said this to himself.

He gave the door a powerful shove, but it didn't even move.

'I need to finish this quickly so that I can get some sleep, there must be a way to open this. It's been a while since I have slept properly' He thought while looking around for a clue.

In an attempt to find something, he looked through everything close to the door, but it was in vain. He contemplated something while gazing at the statue of the lion.

When he placed the map in the lion's jaws, it immediately closed its lips as he had anticipated, and he immediately heard a tremendous rumbling.

The door began to tremble and sink into the ground. Within the temple, there was only one altar, which was adorned with two items.

'I'm not sure how I got here; did that voice really send me here though?'

He looked around himself to find where he was.

Montu was startled and perplexed when he discovered that he had been brought back to life in the VR game he had formerly played.

It was unbelievable for him that he would be murdered, and an even greater shock that he will be reincarnated.

He just couldn't get his mind straight, but after thinking for a moment he remembered the thing in front of his eyes before dying.

"Since I have been given this second life, I will live it without complaining, it's exciting to think about being reincarnated." exclaimed Montu.

'They will regret even being born, and I will make them pay for it.' He thought in his mind.

Montu tried to recall what happened to him before he came to this game; he was killed in the real world by a few people for a mythic item he discovered in the game...

A loud voice rang in his head as he was holding the last string of his life.

"Do you want another chance to live?" it asked.

Yes, Montu replied without hesitation.

And the next thing he knew, he was in "DESTINY," the most popular virtual reality game in the year 2437.

"Synchronization complete," said a soft voice in his head. He recognised it right away as the anticipated system.

Montu imagined the system, and a blue interface appeared in front of his eyes.

He looked at his character information, stunned, and rubbed his eyes a few times, but what he saw remained.

At the top was his name written

        MONTU〔NPC〕

        RACE = Undead(zombie)

Level=1

Strength=2

Speed = 1

Endurance=6

Intelligence=5

Mind=0

Mana=0

HP=35/35

Stat Points =0

Evolution Points:(N/A)

Exclusive skills = God's eye, EVOLUTION

  Skills= Regenerate[lv 1]

He shouted, "what am I supposed to do with a zombie character?"

(With complaining, I guess)

He also noticed NPC written beside his name, indicating that he was a game inhabitant rather than a player from Earth.

He felt somewhat relieved knowing what it meant and how many advantages it could provide.

He also checked his skills and remembered that 'God's eye' was the item for which he was killed, and it had a limited number of uses when it was an item, but now that it is a skill, he has unlimited uses of God's eye.

This ability displays all information about the enemy and other players.

And his other ability, 'Regenerate,' allows him to regrow his limbs and all other body parts unless he is destroyed completely.

And he noticed a notification that appeared, '30 DAYS UNTIL BETA TEST'

"Beta testing, hasn't it already been 4 years since the game was released and only the very privileged and rich got to try it," does that mean I was sent back 4 years, "this is even more amazing, many players who started playing early formed guilds and monopolised many resources"

"I have 30 days until the players arrive, so I should level up as much as possible."
