Kai and Virion found solace in the cave as Virion slowly recovered from his injury. Each day, Kai's heart lightened as he saw his loyal companion regain his strength.

The shopkeeper looked up, adjusting his glasses. "Ah, yes, we do. They're right over here." He led Kai to a shelf lined with small, high-tech backpacks. "These are the latest models. Very durable and easy to use."

Kai examined one of the bags, marveling at the intricate design. He turned to the shopkeeper. "I'll take one."

The shopkeeper named Old Man Harkins, glanced at Kai with a discerning eye. "That'll be 500 credits, son."

Kai's face fell. He dug into his pockets, pulling out a handful of coins and notes. After counting them, he realized he was far short. "I... I don't have enough," he admitted, his voice tinged with disappointment.

Harkins watched him for a moment before nodding thoughtfully. "You're a tamer, aren't you?" he asked.

Kai nodded. "I'm trying to be. But it's hard to get started without the right equipment."
