190 Ch. 183 - Snow Debuts

[We're now live at the West Philippine Sea where the Super Villain, Evil Tide has broken out of his prison and wreaked havoc across the sea.]

Inside a news chopper, a news reporter was talking to her mic as the camera zooms in on a man wearing an all blue similar to Frozone except that this man's costume resembles the scale of a fish.

[Watch out! Evil Tide is making another tsunami again to flood one of the nearby ships.]

Watching with trepidation, everyone watching the news we're praying that the hero Lucifer would appear and defeat the Super Villain.

However, seemingly as if God has given up on them, the tsunami slowly rises from the sea until it reaches the height enough to surpass a 10 story-building and with a single shout from Evil Tide, the tsunami slowly but surely advances towards the poor ship.

"...Good God please help us." The ship captain watches this with a miserable state, before closing his eyes as a tear fell.

"...Abandon ship! Everyone! Abandon ship! Follow the protocol!" The ship captain yelled before pressing the red button that signals an alarm throughout the entire ship.

"Abandon ship!" Hearing the captain yell along with the alarm, others soon abandon whatever they're doing and quickly run towards the ship's deck.

"Captain, let's leave through one of the lifeboats!" His Second Mate quickly grabbed the Captain's shoulder and tried to leave along with him however, the captain stood his ground and replied.

"The captain never leaves his ship. So all of you go! I'll stay! I've been living with this ship for 40 years, I already considered it as my child." The captain teared up as he removed his cap and took out a photo of him and his child who died after his wife gave birth to him, who coincidentally also died. Due to that, the captain has long abandoned his real life and dedicated himself to the ship, considering it as his own son.

"Captain...." The Second Mate also teared up after hearing the Captain's words. He has also heard about the past of the captain and he knows how hard it is for him to abandon the only thing that he considers as his own child.

"...I'll stay with you, Captain. A Second Mate never leaves his captain." The Second Mate smiled wryly and stood side by side with the captain, shocking him slightly before recovering.

"...Thank you, Manuel. I appreciate it." The captain patted the Second Mate's shoulders who is now known as Manuel.

"No problem, captain." Manuel replied before they both shifted their faces towards the front of the ship where a large tsunami as tall as a 10-story building slowly approached them.

[There's still no sign of Lucifer? Could it be that he has truly abandoned being a hero? Is the government to be blamed for it?] The news reporter sadly said after seeing that the tsunami is a few meters away from the ship, that even if Lucifer arrives, perhaps he wouldn't be able to prevent it.

"Hahaha! Without Admiral Kuzan and that Frozone. I rule the seas!" Away from the tsunami, Evil Tide evilly laughed before declaring.

The reason why he's only doing this now is because he has heard that Admiral Kuzan, the recent ice hero who always catches him like how Frozone catches him 13 years ago is already gone, Evil Tide didn't hesitate to escape from his prison and quickly caused chaos on the seas.

"I am the lord of the seas!" Evil Tide loudly declared, expecting the ship to quickly be flooded by his tsunami and sink under the sea.

Under everyone's fearful eyes, afraid of watching a disaster striking the ship and killing the innocent sailors.

That's when their eyes widened in surprise upon seeing a blast of ice quickly hit the giant tsunami before slowly covering it with ice, stopping the tsunami in its place, making it look similar to a giant iceberg instead of a tsunami.

"Admiral Kuzan?!" Seeing the ice that stopped the tsunami, Evil Tide and those watching the happenings quickly came up with the thought of Admiral Kuzan. After all, out of the heroes that have been recently active, Admiral Kuzan is the only ice hero.

However, who showed up next is out of their expectations as they were surprised to see a long white haired woman with a lower mask that covers her mouth suddenly glided through the ice and stopped in front of the tsunami, directly facing Evil Tide.

The new ice superhero that appeared looked like someone that came out of a comic, wearing a tight blue dress that hugs her features and covers most of her skin except for her face along with a lower mask that hides her identity.

"You...You're not Admiral Kuzan, who are you?" Evil Tide warily eyes the white haired woman that interrupted his evil work.

"I'm....Snow." After a moment of hesitation, Snow finally sighed and revealed her superhero name.

"Snow? Sounds....minimal." Evil Tide's mouth quivered slightly, now expecting a bland name coming out of Snow's mouth.

If he didn't see what she did earlier, he would've insulted her that she can only make snow not ice like Admiral Kuzan or Frozone.

However, seeing how she froze the huge tsunami that is as big as a 10-story building is something that only Admiral Kuzan or Frozone can do, perhaps Snow night even be more stronger as the way she froze the tsunami is much faster than the other two.

"Come here, you super villain. I'll send you back to where you belong!" Snow shouted before conjuring an ice horse and much to everyone's surprise, she rodenon the back of this ice horse and the said horse quickly ran towards Evil Tide, as if the horse is living instead of ice.

What's even more absurd is the fact that wherever that horse steps on water, it quickly froze and spreads, giving a pathway for the horse with Snow to advance even in the sea.

"I won't go back to prison!" Upon hearing from Snow that she would bring him back to prison, flashbacks of what happened to him in prison flashed within his head, causing his mind to enter a state of disarray, giving him only one goal.

That is to defeat Snow or escape if he can't defeat her. What's important is that he doesn't go back to prison!

"Yes you will!" Snow replied after getting closer towards Evil Tide and quickly threw an ice blast towards him, intending to freeze him alive and end the fight as soon as possible.

However that doesn't seem to be an easy case as Evil Tide looks like he has more experience than Snow when it comes to battling an ice hero in the sea.

Evil Tide responded with a water wall in return, which was quickly frozen by the ice blast in exchange for protecting Evil Tide from getting frozen instead.

Just as Evil Tide was getting a sigh of relief, Snow quickly took this opportunity to reveal herself on Evil Tide's unsuspecting back before creating several spears made of ice and manipulated then to fly towards Evil Tide.

Sensing the incoming projectiles, Evil Tide uses the same technique again and protects himself with the water shield which shattered the spears into little pieces.

Evil Tide was about to retract the ice wall as it consumes his mana when the little pieces that fell from the shattered ice spears surprisingly turned the water that the Evil Tide is standing on frozen as soon as it submerged itself under the water.

Feeling the ice creeping up on his feet and locking him in place, Evil Tide quickly used the sea water to slam it towards his ice covered feet, attempting to free himself.

But would Snow let him take that attempt? Of course no!

So, as soon as Evil Tide busied himself with striking his frozen feet, Snow quickly gathered up ice between her left and right palm, each facing against each other before one bright blue made of ice formed in the middle.

"Freeze!" Snow yelled before throwing the super powered ice blast towards Evil Tide.

"No! No! I won't go back to priso-..." Seeing the incoming ice blast, Evil Tide quickly abandoned all means to free his feet from ice and tried to escape by using the nearby water to try and move the ice that he was standing on.

Unfortunately for him, the ice blast was faster than him and his body quickly turned into an ice sculpture the moment the ice blast connected with him.

[Is it over? Evil Tide is frozen solid? Ladies and gentlemen! A new hero appeared and defeated the Evil Tide alone!]

Watching the fight from the start to finish, the reporter witnessed everything without blinking an eye. So he managed to see how Snow managed to defeat Evil Tide and quickly reported it to her massive audience behind the camera.

Back inside the ship, the captain and Manuel who already gave up and have decided to sink along with the ship now awkwardly stares at their front.

Although they were glad that they're alive along with the ship, this also makes it awkward for the two of them who have already given their last words.

But now, it seems like those last words earlier had turned from touching to being awkward.

"Should we...go and grab some beer? I'm sure we have the entire ship by ourselves." Manuel awkwardly coughs and suggests, in which the captain quickly accepted with a nod of his head.

"You're right. I need a drink."
