180 Ch. 174 - Heroes
"Dispatch, this is K-11 unit. We're at South Metroville Bank. Reporting a bank robbery in progress, all men armed, requesting immediate backup. Over." Calling over his comms, a police officer reported the current situation in the bank.
"Copy K-11 unit, backup en route. Approach with caution. Over." The response on the radio came.
"Alright everybody back up!" After receiving his orders, the police officer quickly warned the bystanders who were taking out their phones to take a video of the bank robbery, something that irritated him the most.
"This is the police, drop your weapons and surrender peacefully! We don't want any bloodshed happening to this day." Taking up his megaphone close to his mouth, the police yelled out at the bank robbers, trying to convince them to surrender as per protocol.
Unfortunately, the bank robbers were experienced ones as they showed up in the front door with a hostage in hand.
"Nobody moves or this woman gets it!" The robber holding the hostage yelled at them, forcing the police officer to show his hands and slowly drop the guns down.
"Alright alright, calm down. You don't wanna do something you might regret. Let us solve this peacefully. State your conditions and nobody gets hurt." The police officer shouted back in response.
"I need a chopper! A huge chopper, hurry up!" The robber yelled back and before the police officer could reply, the robber went back in with the hostage, indicating that he doesn't have the intention to continue communicating.
Seeing him leave, the police officer quickly addressed the situation to the comms.
After the incident of heroes going into hiding, permanently disappearing from the world, the villains and several bad men took advantage of this incident to cause chaos by robbing banks, making prison breaks, and many other crimes known to mankind.
Due to this, the government has taken the full brunt of the responsibility and stubbornly faced the situations by themselves instead of calling the heroes for help.
Until this day.
Just as the police officer was waiting for reinforcements and other people who are experts in this kind of situation, a man with four women suddenly stepped forward and slowly approached the bank.
"Hey you five! Stop where you are and don't approach the bank!" The police officer yelled at them instead of using the megaphone, afraid that the robbers inside might misunderstand the contents of his words, accidentally causing a casualty of an innocent.
Thankfully, the 5 'intruders' stopped in their tracks and turned around to face the police officer, giving him a good look on their faces.
'Is that an octopus in her hand?' At the same time, the police officer also noticed an octopus in a golden haired girl's arms.
'Why is her hair braided that way?' The police officer raised an eyebrow, noticing that the braided hair is way too long.
"Hey there!" Suddenly, the male waved his arms at him and spoke in perfect English, which is in contrast to his appearance that looks slightly japanese.
"You speak English? If you do, please step back, that bank is dangerous now!" The police officer said while slowly stepping forward, trying to guide them towards him.
However, seeing the man shake his head at him, the police officer thought that the man didn't want to listen to him, so he was about to shout at him once more when the man suddenly disappeared, causing a wave of air blowing everyone's hair in the vicinity.
"What?" The police officer could only mutter in surprise when he suddenly heard gunshots inside.
"No!" Thinking that someone was killed inside, the police officer quickly used his radio.
"Guns fired! I repeat, guns fired! I need the backup now!" The police officer was then responded by.
"Backup is almost there, what's the situation?"
"I don't know, I just saw-." The police officer was about to retell what he saw through the comms when the gunshots suddenly ceased.
"Huh?" Turning to look at her entrance, his eyes widened in surprise at seeing the hostages all running outside with scared mixed with relief faces, following them was the man that he was shouting at earlier that suddenly disappeared.
After the man disappeared then the hostages were rescued, the police officer quickly noticed who the man was and thought of him as one of the heroes who disappeared.
"You? What's your name?" The police officer raised his hands to stop the man and asked for his name, or the hero's name in other words, a hero's name is very common among heroes in order to keep their identity a secret, after all.
The man stopped in his tracks and seemed to be thinking about his words which also attracted the victim's attention on him, wanting to know the name of their hero.
Although it is predicted that the next day, the government would surely warn this 'hero' for going against the new law that is bestowed upon the heroes.
"Lucifer." The man smiled and soon vanished along with the women who were with him earlier.
"Teleportation is his powers perhaps?" The police officer made a guess after seeing the man teleport two times in a row.
'My boss would definitely not like this.' Rubbing his forehead in frustration, the police officer decided to write a report about what he just witnessed and specifically mentioned the name Lucifer to the report as it is a matter of importance.
'Lucifer huh? Quite a weird hero to take the name of the devil.' The police officer chuckled to himself before shaking his head from these thoughts and proceeded with the report.

"Well that was fun." Stretching his limbs, Jin commented as Tigress replied to him.
"Did you have fun?"
"Not quite, though our mission here is more important, so let's go to Bob's house."
'Now that I think about it, how would I absorb Jack's soul? Would it kill him?' Jin worriedly whispered to himself, killing a baby leaves quite a bad taste to his mouth so hopefully, nothing bad will happen to his other half once he absorbs his soul.
His mother would definitely not like him killing an innocent baby just for power. Unless Jack is still an infant that hasn't grown yet inside Helen's stomach. At least that way, Jin wouldn't have to bear the guilt of killing a baby.
"Where are we headed then?" Rapunzel asked, she's quite unfamiliar with this place so she would obviously ask Jin who seemed to know more about this world.
"To be honest, Bob's house is average and I can't determine which one is his house, so we'll have to find him in the old way" Jin replied to her question, referring to finding Bob literally searching every nook and cranny of the Metroville. Since this is a different world,
"Sounds boring." Rapunzel monotonously said, boredom can be seen plastered on her face.
"No it's not. At least we can roam the city in the meantime." Jin shrugged his shoulders and refuted Rapunzel's word.
"...You're right...." With glittering eyes, Rapunzel slowly turned her head on a nearby hair salon.
"Oh boy." Tracing where Rapunzel is looking at, Jin sighed.

Staring at the sprawled hair all over the floor, the hair stylists couldn't help but stare at Rapunzel in shock.
At first they were surprised to see such beautiful braided hair however the moment she asked to braid her hair in a more beautiful style that is until she removed her braided hair and let her long golden hair fall down on the ground.
At first, everything was fine until the hair didn't stop until it completely filled the entire hair salon.
"Please take care of her." Having collected some dollars in Hotel Transylvania world, Jin dropped 5 stacks of dollars on the counter, not caring if he overpaid or not.
"W-we'll do it in no time, sir!" Seeing the stacks of dollar bills on the counter, the manager of the salon's eyes flashed in greed, not expecting to receive such a wealthy customer early in the morning.
"Quickly, get to work!" After counting the dollars, the manager quickly ordered the other hair stylists to get to work.
Soon enough, watching the professionals at work was fascinating unlike the little children that previously braided Rapunzel's hair.
It's not like they're ungrateful to the kids but there's a difference between children's work and the professionals.
After a few hours have passed, almost all hair stylists have to take rest in turns, their bodies sweating heavily, they even had to close down their salon in order to finish Rapunzel's hair and it didn't take long before they finally finished brading Rapunzel's long golden hair.
"Beautiful." Jin muttered to himself as he watched Rapunzel spun around, showing her hair all over the salon.
Even Tigress, Elsa and Mavis were staring at her with fascination.
"Do I look good?" Rapunzel asked Jin nervously, though Jin's answer shocked her.
Stepping forward, Jin quickly planted his lips on Rapunzel's.
"Hmph!" Widening her eyes, Rapunzel was stunned at first before eventually falling to the kiss, reciprocating it.
