168 Ch. 162 - Resurrection!

"I'm feeling the chills!" Rapunzel whispered to Tigress and Elsa after shivering.

"Me too." Elsa spoke through her ice mask, making her voice sound muffled like a certain mortal kombat character with the same ice powers as her.

Behind them, Dracula and Vlad watched with bated breaths and wide eyes. Not wanting to blink lest they miss the most important part. Which is seeing how resurrection works with their own eyes.

Sure, they also resurrect humans through vampirism but that process can only be called Partial Resurrection as the 'victim' needs at least one heart beat left to 'resurrect'. The only reason it's called Resurrection in the first place is because having a single heartbeat can be declared as dead, hence the name resurrection.

After getting the feel of his God's Authority spreading across the room, right towards the dead corpses, Jin breathed in and out before opening his eyes slowly while muttering the magic word.

"Arise."

Everyone alive in the room felt chills in their spine the moment they heard that word.

It's like a cold embrace touched their bodies and covered them with ice.

'What is this feeling?' Vlad, who has long forgotten what fear is like, once again found himself shivering in fear. It's like standing in front of a natural predator in the universe.

Someone that should and must be feared by lowly beings like them.

"Hurrrr..." The first one to sit up was a zombie who looked as confused as his other fellow zombies.

So he simply scratched his head and stood up before walking on his own way, ignoring the looks that Jin and the others are giving him.

"It definitely worked, alright." Rapunzel chuckled slightly at the simple behavior of the zombie. Though it is understandable as although the zombies used to be humans, their intelligence of a zombie has significantly decreased once they turn into the undead zombies.

"Now that I think about it, how did that guy even die. I mean, zombies are already dead and can't be killed anymore, right?" Rapunzel raised a question that baffled their minds slightly.

As much as they want to think over this matter, but there are more important things to pay attention to.

Dracula looked over at Frankenstein, his folded body like a paper slowly unfolded like unfolding a paper plane before his body was finally back to its former appearance.

'Will he be revived?' Dracula bit on his nails and whispered to himself. He felt accountable for Frankenstein's death.

Not only Frankenstein, but all of the other monster's death.

If only he was strong enough. If only he had the strength to end it all once and for all without having any casualties, then perhaps his best friend wouldn't have died.

He's strong yes. But not strong enough like a God who can finish his problems with a mere snap of his fingers.

He's only a monster after all.

A monster who is slightly above the others but can only be a monster.

Soon, other monsters who are supposed to be dead started to rise from the ground and they're just as confused as the zombie earlier but unlike the zombie who was confused in the end, they had a look of realizations on their faces.

"I'm back?" A Witch with a green face and long nose was the first one to realize that she's back from the dead and kept touching her body

The second one to realize was of the same species as Wayne, a wolf.

"I'm alive? Awooooo!!!" The wolf first gasped in shock before howling in excitement or some kind of celebration.

The third one was a skeleton who was just as shocked as the others are.

"Oh my! Wait, where's my arm?" Just as the skeleton would celebrate being back to life, he noticed that he was missing his arm and quickly looked left and right. Only to see that the wolf who got resurrected earlier has already been chewing on his arm.

"Hey! That's my arm!"

Soon, the rest finally started to stand up and have various reactions.

"Mama I'm back!"

"Is this hell or heaven? Wait, can monsters even go to those places?"

"AAAAAHHHHHH!"

Seeing their reactions, Jin doesn't know whether to laugh or cry.

"This is so touching." Rapunzel wiped off a tear from her eyes and said.

Meanwhile, Tigress and Elsa were having different but same reactions.

Tigress was shocked but more proud of her husband while Elsa was also shocked but felt relief that Jin could revive a dead person.

'So, if I somehow die, I don't have to worry about anything.' This is currently what Elsa is feeling. It's like having a second or more chances at life.

"FIIIREEEEE!"

Soon, focus shifted to a certain big guy who yelled on the top of his lungs before standing up and jumping around as if there was a burning flame on his ass.

The other monster who just got revived was shocked to see this reaction and quickly stepped aside to avoid him as if he was some kind of plague.

Out of all of them, Dracula was the only one who had a large smile on his face.

"Frankk!" Dracula appeared in front of Frankenstein before engulfing him in a hug.

Frankenstein soon calmed down after feeling the hug and looked down on Dracula.

"Oh, hey Drac. What's going on?" Frankenstein scratched the back of his head and asked.

"Nothing, I just miss my best friend." Dracula answered with closed eyes.

"Oh...okay then." Frankenstein looked left and right before awkwardly hugging Dracula back. He's feeling very weird right now.

"That's so sweet!" Rapunzel fawned over their friendship and couldn't help but hug Tigress and Elsa.

"But ours are more sweet, right? I mean, we share the same man." She continued.

Looking at the three beautiful women, Vlad can't help but scratch his small goatee and raises a thumbs up towards Jin.

Oblivious to this, Jin continued watching Dracula and Frankenstein's awkward hug.

"My job here is done." Jin smiled and said, feeling quite proud of himself.

That's when he suddenly noticed an anomaly among the newly revived monsters.

'Is that a human?' Jin raised an eyebrow and stared at the human who looked scared and pissed by seeing several monsters surrounding him.

"You there." Jin pointed his finger at the soldier and called out to him.

The human squealed in fear and quickly covered his face. Not wanting to be discovered.

"I see you there, human." Jin said before slowly walking towards the human.

Seeing him approaching, the human gulped his saliva and started looking around for ways to escape.

Unfortunately for him, this is a very secluded room and aside from the main entrance, there's no other way to get out of this room.

"S-spare me." The human shivered and finally gave up before asking for mercy.

"I'm not gonna kill you, I'm just gonna look at myself the reason why you're here." Jin then stared at the human's eyes and read his memories.

It didn't take long before he finally got the reason why the human was here.

It turns out, this human has long known about the monsters even before the government discovered them.

What's more surprising is that the human has made a monster friend and has been friends for many years.

So when he joined in this war against the monsters, his monster friend dragged him away from the battlefield and tried to hide him away but unfortunately, he still became a casualty thanks to ROB's doing.

'It's like this dude is the protagonist of his own movie.' Jin mentally chuckled slightly.

"So, who brought you in here?" Jin asked while approaching the human.

"N-no one."

"Really? How did you even die?" Jin tilted his head at the human's blatant lie.

"I....don't remember." The human scratched the back of his head and looked very confused as he answered.

"Really?" This time, the human wasn't lying as Jin could tell with a glance.

'That's weird, there should be no gaps in memory once I revive them, right?' Jin scratched his chin and realized something.

"Hey, do you guys remember how you died?" Jin turned his attention to the other monsters who just got revived and asked the same question that he asked of the human.

"...No? I remember fighting in the war, then blank..." A wolf with a green hat answered his question.

"Yeah, me too. I also can't remember anything before I died." The others also agreed, which raised some questions over everyone's head.

"Frank?" Dracula looked at Frankenstein and said.

"Yeah, me too Drac. I can't remember anything before death."

Seeing that it is confirmed, Jin squinted his eyes, amazed at the wonders of resurrection and its side effects.

"I'll research more about this. Everyone, rest first and go back to your stations, you human, come with me." Jin grabbed the human's shoulders and loudly announced before walking away.
