Tarak Village

For the following three day's Diedrich followed the river.

During this time Diedrich hunted daily and came across a few more packs of boars, two more wolves, and a deer the size of a horse which he soundly avoided. During all this time Diedrich had leveled up two more times becoming level 4.

Because of the dramatic increase in stats with each level up, Diedrich could now easily defeat a boar solo, although a pack of them would still be a challenge, however because of this he began to rely less and less on his treant only really using it as a personal chef.

Diedrich noticed that as he followed the river going further and further away from his original starting point, the higher the levels of the animals were becoming, the trees also seemed to become more vibrant and robust.

At the same time with each level up Diedrich began to feel a more pronounced eerie feeling when he looked back in the direction he came from as if there was some sort of presence there, sometimes an involuntary chill would crawl up his spine making him reflexively look behind himself only to be met with the jungle greenery.

After three day's of following the river it eventually flowed into a massive lake.

As Diedrich saw the huge lake of which he could barely see the other side, he found it quite strange, the water was even murkier than the river water, and Diedrich saw not a single ripple on the lake indicating there was some semblance of life or flowing water, which was strange as there was a river flowing into the lake.

Diedrich had also not seen any sign of wildlife for a while, and the vegetation seemed a bit darker around this area.

The lake seemed quite suspicious to Diedrich, however he didn't feel anything ominous from the lake so he did not think there was anything wrong.

Diedrich went next to the lake and dipped his finger into the water and drank the little bit of water that was on there to test if the lake water was poisonous, however it didn't taste poisonous and after waiting halve an hour, nothing seemed to happen so Diedrich thought the water was fine and drank more of it.

Diedrich was slightly surprised after he drank a good amount of the water as he felt a little bit more energised, and his fatigue from exploring and walking the entire day went away slightly.

After walking around and exploring the jungle next to the lake a bit Diedrich had made up his mind and decided to make his base here, as Diedrich did not fully trust there was nothing dangerous in the lake he went two kilometers away from the lake and found a clearing.

Standing in the clearing Diedrich took out his bronze village creation cube from his pouch. Once in his hand the description popped up again.

Village creation cube (Bronze)

Not seeing how to activate it Diedrich decided to do the only thing that made sense and pressed it on the ground.

Once the cube touched the earth a system alert sounded.

"Ding. Would you like to use the [Village Creation Cube]"

Diedrich said "Yes"

immediately a dazzling light came out of the cube, enveloping the area 200 meter arounds Diedrich, Through the light Diedrich could see the land becoming flat and all the plants and weeds dissolving into light particles. 4 buildings made out of straw started slowly rising from the ground, one covered the cube and above it floated the text stating [creation station], the other buildings were called [living quarters], [storage facility], and [Tailor shop].

Just as Diedrich was expecting everything to be done another notification popped up

Ding "The creation cube is being influenced by host's rank ✩✩✩✩ elemental affinity of Beast, the cube is incorporating the hosts abilities into the Village creation cube".

Diedrich was shocked and as an emerald essence flew out of him and into the cube, the cube absorbed it and after a while it started to produce its own green essence and began to spit it out like a volcano across the territory making everything greenish, after that the rumbling stopped.

"Hosts abilities have being added"

Diedrich stared wide eyed at the notification unsure of what it exactly meant. Thinking he would get some information from the Creation station, Diedrich walked to the structure located in the middle of the village encompassed in a spacious circular straw hut.

Having no door Diedrich entered the hut where he saw the bronze cube again, except this time it was 1 meter tall and wide and was rotating slowly a meter above the ground, Diedrich went to check it's description and found out it was now called the origin, Diedrich then checked its stats.

Diedrich was dumbfounded he could summon villagers, How was that possible? and how would that even work?

Although he was confused, slowly the first genuine smile began to gradually creep on his face, this village would be the first piece of stability in this new world for him, His base from where he would find his family and could keep them safe.

Diedrich didn't know it, but at that moment, something had ignited within him, previously doused by societies peacefulness and governments deliberant pacifying of citizens, it was now able to ignite, and little did he know that one day this tiny ember would scorch plains beyond his wildest imagination, and the flames name was CONQUEST!!!

Going through an upheaval of emotions, even though Diedrich felt real joy his eyes were still calm like a lake, as if they were two indomitable mountains unmoved by wind or rain, as if they knew they would remain to the end of times.

Looking over the Origins status again Diedrich noted that the village didn't have a name, after a few minutes of pondering Diedrich had finally decided on one.

When Diedrich first arrived in England he noticed that a large proportion of citizens were from India, and the same was for his school, so wanting to fit in he tried to learn some Indian, although it didn't help him with making friends and he had forgotten most of it by now, there was one word that had strangely stuck out him, the word sounded strong and intimidating while at the same time having a meaning that encompassed what he thought his village should stand for, with its meaning being protector.

Having decided Diedrich told the system the name for his village,

"The villages name shall be TARAK".
