In a bright summer day 2 kids were walking down the street.

They just finished buying their food from a nearby store, the money they used?

Most of it came from their dead father's life insurance. That's right, these 2 kids are the children of an abusive alcoholic father.

Their father was a drunkard who liked to gamble his money on horse racing.

When he loses the bet, he would often take out his anger on his 2 children.

However, that didn't last long. As the saying goes "Karma's a bitch", and because of the constant abuse of their father. The 2 kids ended up killing him.

The kids didn't feel guilty. Why would they? This shit of a father kept on abusing them physically amd emotionally. Only those heroic protagonists would try to find the good in him.

When their mother came home and saw the body she screamed. The body of her husband was hanging from the ceiling! This caused the case to be ruled as a suicide and not a murder.

The mother did not like what her husband was doing, she tried to stop him a few times but ended up getting beaten herself. She only screamed because of seeing a dead body was too much for her.

She eventually got traumatized and joined a cult. This led to the older of the 2 siblings to think whether or not to kill her too, since she was obviously a bad influence for her little brother.

The 2 siblings reached their house and layed the food on the table as they ate it happily.

Their mother died just a few months ago. The house was given to them since the older sister was deemed to be capable of handling the situation. But in reality, no one wanted to take them.

They were viewed as accursed children by the society. The policemen didn't even mind them and just made sure they didn't get into any sort of trouble because of their reputation as the so called 'Parent Killers'.

While the brother and sister duo were dining in the living room, the younger one asked. "Hey sister, you're going to fetch me from school tomorrow right?"

"Of course" The older sister replied with a smile.

Today was the first day of class in highschool for the older sibling named Hinata Sakaguchi.

Due to the family problems they experienced, they were quite old for their respective grades.

Her younger brother, Hisaki Sakaguchi was also attending the same school. He was still in the 5th grade.

After classes the 15 year old girl fetched her 13 year old brother from his class and proceeded to walk home.

They passed by a special shrine and stared at it for a few moments, taking in the breathtaking view of sakura leaves dancing in the wind.

Suddenly, a strong gale of wind blew past the 2 siblings.

They both closed their eyes and hugged each other due to how strong the wind was.

In another world.

3 bandits were being chased by the hero, who was also known as the "Conqueror of Flames" due to her precise control of the fire element.

They reached the forest and took out a scroll.

They opened the scroll to find strange markings on it. This was actually a summoning ritual that was going to be delivered to a nearby Kingdom.

The delivery was unsuccessful as they were ambushed by this 3 bandits.

They hired the hero to catch the bandits, who were responsible for the ambush. They didn't tell the hero that a summoning ritual used to summon otherworlders was also stolen, since this was actually illegal with out proper permission. If the hero knew this then she would definetely report this to the authorities.

The bandit who opened the scroll spoke up "What do you think? should we do it?"

A chubby bandit replied to his companion with an annoyed tone in his voice "Of course! are you stupid!? The hero is after us! We need to buy us more time!"

The 3rd member of the group just stood there and looked around their surroundings, checking of there was something or someone nearby.

He went closer to the other 2 and said "Just do it"

The 3 bandits ended up writing the ritual markings on the ground, as they poured their decent amount of magic power into the markings.

The markings that were written on the ground glowed, and smoke appeared as 2 small figures could be seen behind it.

Bandit no. 1 was the first to notice something was wrong as he spoke up. "I thought this was gonna summon a lesser demon!?"

The chubby bandit no. 2 answered him with an annoyed expression. "Tsk, can't be helped, but we need to silence the witnesses" he was clearly dissatisfied with the result of the summon.

"Witnesses?"

"The 2 kids there" Bandit no. 3 answered as he pointed at Hinata and Hisaki.

Hinata opened her eyes to see no buildings, no cars, and no shrine in sight. She was shocked as she looked at her brother who seems to have passed out.

Hinata heard voices from the behind the smoke they were covered in. When the smoke receded she saw 3 men using what seems to be leather armor.

She saw the tall man in the group point towards her and Hisaki laying on the ground.

It was a strange feeling opening her eyes to see the unfamiliar sight of trees everywhere, not to mention that seeing 3 armed men infront of her made her body tense up a bit.

The tall bandit came closer as he held a sword in his right hand.

Hinata stood infront of her brother's sleeping body. She had learned how to fight when she was younger, thus she was confident that she would be able to defeat this bandit since he was clearly underestimating her.

She clenched her fist as she thought of ways on how to defeat this bandit. Thats when she heard a strange voice in her head.
