After I thwarted the attack, we just relaxed until the time came when we had to go back. Saying my goodbyes to both Yennefer and Geralt, I told them I'd visit again and I'd be happy to have them in my world. To which Yennefer said she'd love to visit, while Geralt would follow.

"Oh, barely felt anything that time." I said as Ciri and I appeared in my hotel room.

"Soon you won't even feel it." she said as she threw herself onto the bed.

"Oh, you can't even begin to compare the mattress to back home." she said as she closed her eyes.

"I'll buy some here so you can take them back home for everyone. I feel bad that they have to sleep on those."

"Sure." she said almost falling asleep.

"Alright you can sleep in a bit, we still have the mission reward." I said as I opened the DGC.

"Well, it was an easy mission so it's not like you're losing out on anything. Besides, you still have that World Travel Token." she said as she came up from behind and hugged me.

"You're right. I've already got more than enough. What about you?"

"Let me see." she said as she went silent for a few seconds.

"Oh."

"What'd you get?"

"I got [Tragic Lovers Pills]! It allows anyone that's infertile to become fertile and if the person is mission any of the needed organs, it regrows them! And it comes with two, one for each. And it gives them a little permanent boost." she said smiling.

"Oh wow. Talk about useful." I said.

"I know!"

"Where are they from?" I asked, curious.

"The world is called Cultivation World X. All it says. But apparently, the pills were created for a man and a woman who loved each other but were unable to conceive because they were both experimented on as children to become soldiers for their countries. They fought each other before realizing neither wanted to do what they were doing and ran away together. That's so tragic." she said, feeling down at the story.

"Guess that's why they're called Tragic Lovers Pills. By the way, did you ask Yennefer and Geralt if they would ever want a kid?"

"Not outright, no. But I did lead them to it in conversation and they would like to if they could." she said.

"That's great. Are you going to give it to them now?"

"No. I think I'll wait until they're sure."

"You should ask them outright if they had the chance to get healed if they would. That way they can tell you when they're ready. No guesswork."

"You're right. But no reason to rush, they both still have centuries left." she said as she threw herself on the bed.

"What are you going to do now?" I asked her as I lay down on the bed next to her causing her to cuddle up to me.

"In regards to?"

"In general, I mean. You don't have to run from the Wild Hunt anymore, and you've saved Geralt. You have a whole new outlook on life now. You can do whatever you want or be whatever you want." I said to her as she stayed silent.

"You don't have to think about it now. Most people go their whole life not knowing what they want to do, you have plenty of time." I said as I kissed her head.

"Would you mind if I stayed with you?" she asked.

"Of course not. But if you're staying with me, I'd rather get an apartment that's ours."

"Ours? Don't you mean yours?" she said tilting her head up to look at me.

"No, I meant ours. I want us to pick one out that we both like. I mean since we're both going to be living there I'd prefer it if we both chose it."

"But I thought you wanted to be a wandering doctor for a while before settling down somewhere and opening your own clinic?"

"I still want to do that, but you'd need a place to stay while you're here, so why not buy one? I was going to wait until I actually settle down somewhere but I can just buy one now."

"What if I want to live alone?" she said looking down.

"Why?"

"It's like you said earlier. For the first time ever, I can be my own person. I can do whatever I want and be whatever I want. And I know if I go back to my world, the Emperor won't stop chasing me down so I can be his successor. I don't know if I want to do that yet, but I do want to help my world.

So, I want to experience life as a person my age would in your world. And go to college like you say they do."

"If that's what you want to do, of course, I'll support you. But why do you want to live alone?"

"I don't know if I want to live alone, but if I'm going to experience life as a student, wouldn't living alone be what they do?"

"Haha!" I laughed making her look up at me.

"Why are you laughing?"

"Most college students can't afford to live alone, so they live with a roommate or their partner."

"Oh. Then I will live with you." she said.

"Good, I would miss you if you were staying elsewhere." I said.

"I can teleport you know."

"I know, but still. By the way, do you know what you want to study?"

"Matt, I barely even know what a college is."

"Yes, but you must have some idea. Most people choose to study something that they enjoy and would enjoy making a career out of. People who enjoy being around animals become veterinarians/animal doctors. People who enjoy space become astrophysicists. People who like helping people become doctors. You get the gist of it."

"Do you enjoy being a doctor?"

"I do. Was it something I chose solely because I got a character card for one of the best doctors in the world? Yes. But I do enjoy it nonetheless."

"Something I enjoy, huh."

"Yes, but some people also do it for the money, which shouldn't be a problem for you."

"How many things to study are there?"

"A lot."

"Oh. Ugh, I don't know." she said burying her face in the bed.

"Don't worry. You have all the time in the world. And we can also do a test that asks you questions and at the end, it'll give you suggestions of what you might be good at."

"Let's do that then." she said sitting up.

"Okay, let me get my laptop." I said before using my tk to get my laptop from the coffee table.

"You'll also need to learn how to use a computer and get a better identity than the basic one you purchased."

"Later. I want to take the test."

"Okay, here. Just answer the questions, truthfully." I said as I showed her the screen and chose the answers for her. After a few minutes of her taking her time to read each one and then think about it, we had finally come to the last one.

"So, what'd I get?" she asked.

"Let's see, you got undetermined."

"Undetermined? Why?"

"The answers you chose were too general."

"Ugh." she said laying back down on the bed.

"Hey, don't worry about it. Why don't we do this, we go to Colombia and sit in on a few classes from different subjects. That way maybe you'll find one you like." I said.

"You can do that?"

"Most university classes have so many students they won't notice a few more."

"Okay. When?"

"Tomorrow. Let's look up the classes they have tomorrow so we can hit a few and not wander around like chickens with their heads cut off." I said causing her to giggle and snort.

"Cute."

"Shut up. Come on do your computer wizardry." she said after playfully rolling her eyes.
