"Ugh, that was a little better than the first time but not by much." I said only taking half as long to regain my bearings after being transported back to my world.

I opened my eyes to take a quick look around the hotel room and it was all exactly the same. Even my last slice of pizza was still warm, which I promptly picked up and ate.

"Ahh, modern-day food. Can't beat it." I said thinking about the food we ate. Not that it was bad by any means, but just bland which is understandable since spices and seasonings were a commodity.

"Okay let me think about what I was doing before I left. I have the medical conference tomorrow, and that's it. Wow. A little depressing. But now that I got that tech from the Yautja ship, I can upgrade some of my nanite machines and maybe even start a tech company. Let me open my rewards first, I can't wait." I thought out loud before sitting down facing the skyline and praying to Lady Luck.

"Holy shit. What the hell is my luck? Thank you, Lady Luck for shining your light on me once more." I said before giving my thanks to the amazing Lady Luck. And weirdly enough, once I finished my prayer it felt like I saw a star twinkle in the night sky.

"Okay, ignoring that for now. I can't believe I got 49% shares of the Shinomiya Zaibatsu! That means Kaguya Sama Love is War is one of the worlds I merged with, cool. Always loved that romance anime.

Not to mention, the God-King Darius Axe solves my needing to buy one for when I can't use my powers. But talk about conspicuous, I mean the axe is as tall as Darius with a giant wolf in the middle and purple. It is cool as hell though. Well, let me accept my rewards before I use my Random Ability Token."

As the word came out of my mouth, I got a ping that I had new items in my inventory. First, I wanted to check out the axe because I always thought Darius was one of the cooler melee champs in the game.

"Hmm, very Chinese novel being recognized by the spirit of the weapon. I guess the skin line was inspired by Murim novels which makes sense considering the only place I've ever heard the term God-King is from Murim novels. Anyways, let's check this bad boy out and hope I'm able to be recognized by it." I said before taking the axe out of my inventory.

"It's beautiful." I said out loud looking at the axe in hand.

The axe was a 6-foot-long masterpiece. A slightly curved black handle reminiscent of a spine connected to an intricately carved wolf's head. The wolf's head opened as if roaring in defiance of the gods with a purple-red axe head that looked sharp enough to cut anything. Where the butt of the axe should be is another smaller axe just as equally sharp looking.

As I admired the axe, the eye on the wolf's head started to shine with a red light that quickly engulfed me before I passed out.

"Ugh, again. Why is it that every time I get a reward I end up passing out?" I said before I started to look at my surroundings.

For miles around, there was nothing but a field of green.

"Where am I?" I said before a shadow began to engulf me. Quickly turning around, I came face to face with a giant wolf.

GROWL

Realizing that I was being tested by the axe, I stood my ground ready to fight.

"You have passed the first test. For one to be worthy of wielding me, to cower before the unknown is unacceptable. Do not believe yourself to be worthy yet, the worst is yet to come." it growled at me before disappearing into thousands of little lights.

"Holy, this is exactly like a Chinese novel. That probably means I'm going to have to fight next."

BOOM

A cloud of dust erupted behind me, and I waved it away to look at what landed. It was a stone tablet with a set of moves that I presume are a style of fighting with the axe.

"Of course testing one's comprehension skills is always a part of these tests." I said before walking up to the tablet to study it.

I think before I got the House Character Token, I wouldn't have been able to comprehend the martial art quite as quickly or precisely. Thankfully, House's genius is useful for more than just medicine.

The martial art on the tablet was clearly meant to be used in conjunction with the axe itself, and the moves were very straightforward. Which I suppose is to be expected with something like an axe. Brutal frontal combat is par for the course with an axe that's 6 feet long.

ROAR BOOM

"Shit, that was a roar which means it's time to fight and I'm assuming that other noise was an axe appearing." I said while once again waving the dust away only to reveal a replica of the axe.

"Okay, let's do this." I said before I went to pick up the axe and quickly went through the martial art on the tablet.

Rewards revealed! The items anyways. I saw someone comment I should use League stuff since I reference it so much and I remembered about Darius so I decided to give him the best-looking axe from his skins. The chapter is a little Chinese novely because the skin line is based on Chinese novels so I decided to roll with it a bit. And for those worried about how strong the axe is, it won't be splitting the earth with a single swing so no worries there.

Also sorry for the short chapter, I had a bit of writer's block doing this chapter so I'll try to make up for it with a longer one for the next one.
