Solitude

The unchanging sunset appeased to no one. The everlasting void blanketed all but itself. The serene, prodigious silence comforted its residents, perhaps to drive them insane. Nothing survived in this unforgiving place, nothing was able to. In the center of it all lay a man, his hollow, silver eyes staining the reddish sky. His half covered bare-bones body retaining a shadow of it's past musculature. A silverish-blue hue dying his hair. The pure silvery-white ice robe he wore boasted exquisite craftsmanship along with his perfectly sculpted face making him look like a marble statue perfected as if an opus anglicanum. The only evidence of his lifeblood being the faint breaths he took so often. His hollow eyes quickly regained their light as his blank face quickly turned itself into a determined one.

He stood up, only to view the void he ever so despised. An ounce of hesitation overcame him, but was quickly replaced with a stoic expression.

"Another day, huh." A grated, rash and elegant voice spoke. It commanded authority over the vast silence it conversed to. Even though he said another day, he had no idea of the time. A blank void offered little semblance of time. Centuries could have passed since he was trapped for all he knew.

He started walking towards a point blotched in white. He constantly supplied to it mana in order to eschew it from the bland void. When approached, a white rose made of ice as transparent as glass revealed itself in it's center.

A sword of pure ice manifested itself sheathed underneath a holder made of snow. Underneath the man manifested an emblem of thorns. Green and brown littered the emblem until it finally coloured itself. Only to be laminated in a layer of ice, as if to protect it from the unrelenting sunset.

Kaiser observed the emblem with a serene look in his eyes. It had been the only thing keeping his sanity. A promise he had made had kept him going. Though sounding cheesy, he was truly grateful. If people heard him, the Frostfürn, saying this. He was revered as the Emperor of Ice for more than his element. He was known for his cold-blooded and emotionless personality. Every step he took was for a purpose and every mistake he made was for one too.

He looked up, greeted by a white ripple. Diminutive in size and easily unnoticable. A trace of confusion appeared on his aloof face before it was quickly replaced with one of astonishment. "What is that?" He wondered out loud.

"Huh?" A higher pitched and elegant voice could be heard as if answering his query. A hand poked through the ripple. "Hello?" The look on Kaiser's face varied greatly. From joy and giddiness to sorrow and anger. He cleared his throat before replying back to the voice. "Hello?"

New author, new book, new story. My first work ever so don't hate but i'd appreciate some proper critique. Also dont expect proper update schedule. High school is hard, well anyways, adios
