"HO! LY! SHIT!" My oh so eloquent brother made the first word into two as he exclaimed, quite accurately, what we were all feeling just then.

"WHAT JUST HAPPENED!?" Luka asked as he looked around the room. We were all reeling, that's for sure.

"Sereia?" Mom called from across the room. She had her eyes opened wide in shock and awe, and maybe a little bit of envy.

"I..I..I..I don't know how I did that!" Sereia said defensively as she shook her head. "I..I'm sorry." She was about to break down and sob. She was in pain, not physically, but mentally. "I'm so sorry." She fell to her knees, and Reagan rushed to her side.

"Shhh, sweetheart, it's OK. You didn't do anything wrong." He soothed her. 

"It didn't matter. E..even though I killed him, I couldn't save him." She sobbed brokenly as she pressed her face into Reagan's shirt. "It was all for nothing."
