79 Chapter 79- Elias – Visit with Haley’s Family Part 1 (VOLUME 1)

What I was doing at the moment, how I was behaving, it wasn't an act just for Haley's parents. However, I knew that they were watching us through that small crack in the curtains and that they were already judging me. They would be watching me like a hawk every moment that I spent here at their home.

Still, I got out of my door and hurried over to Haley's door so that I was the one that opened her door for her. This was a part of who I was, how I was raised. I was being a gentleman because that was what Haley deserved and it was the polite thing to do.

"Are you ready?" I asked her in a quiet tone, just above a whisper. Then I realized that her parents were human and that they wouldn't hear me even if I spoke at a normal volume.
